Tree looked away from Coheed. "Well, a while back, I majorly fucked up. I'm not going to go into details, 'cause I don't like talking about it, but ever since then, I've been pursued by just about everyone and their grandma. But the worst of them have been the doppelgangers. Just about everyone ignored me once me and my friends got to the Island, but the doppelgangers are still after me. They're dangerous. And they're everywhere."

"A bodyguard?" Tree thought about that for a second. "Say, not a bad idea. Like, I can defend myself, but it's kinda hard when it's just me and Madotsuki. Plus, I'd be able to finally go back to Void City, and stuff. Alright, you got yourself a deal!"
She looked around. "Oh yeah, I should probably introduce you to Todd if you're going to be hanging around."

"My weapon. He's a fish." Tree explained. "Madotsuki, could you go get Todd?"
Madotsuki, who had been writing in her Dream Diary, walked into another room, and brought out what looked like a giant fish.
"Yo, foo, I was sleepin', why'd ya wake me up..." Todd complained. "Eh? Whose dis new foo?"

"A...fish?" Coheed scratched the back of his head in confusion. Of course Coheed wasn't actually expecting a talking fish but clearly that's what he got when Madotsuki brought Todd out of the other room. He wasn't sure what to say to the fish so he just stared blankly at it.

"Todd, this is Coheed. He's going to be staying with us for a while," Tree explained.
"Oh. Okay then. Go put me back in my bowl, then, I was busy." Todd ordered. Madotsuki complied, and walked away.

Coheed was speechless for a moment. Never before in his life had he seen anything quite like that.
"Uh...um..." he began but decided it wasn't worth it so he shut up and laid back down for a minute.

"That sounds like a good idea..." Coheed yawned, exhaustion suddenly hitting him hard ", I need some sleep anyway..." Coheed laid down slowly. The moment his head touched the pillow he was out like a light...But he didn't sleep very well...
(We should continue this in another area. We could start it off as if it was the next day and they were all packed and traveling)
