It was freezing cold...subzero maybe even. The icy wind whipped the snow around the baron wasteland and each flake felt like a tiny needle stinging Coheed's bare skin. He trudged on through the snow however, determined to escape his captors, whoever they may be. His memory was almost a completely blank. He could hardly tell if this was even real until a painful chill up his spine reminded him. All he could recall was being trapped somewhere with doctors and scientists around. He could remember a sudden anger taking hold of him and in a blind fury killing everyone in the room, about five or six people. How did he kill them again? Oh right...those damned blades on his left art. Five razor sharp metal blades protruded from the side of his arm, starting from his wrist and the last one near his shoulder. He had no idea why they were there anymore, he just knew that there was some purpose for them. There was some purpose for him too...
Just then he couldn't seem to continue. He had succumbed to the cold weather and collapsed into the soft, icy, white powder that covered the ground. He only wore what appeared to be a hospital robe or something so it was incredible he even made it this far without collapsing already. Slowly he closed his eyes just wishing it would all end there. The last thing he saw before his eyes shut was the image of strange domes of ice...igloos maybe? He didn't care any longer. It wasn't worth it...

Just about the time Coheed collapsed, Madotsuki exited a nearby igloo to go wander off somewhere. Upon seeing him, she rushed over to the fallen man, and examined him for a second. "Hey, Madotsuki, don't go too far--" The next person to exit the igloo was someone who hadn't been seen for a very long time, Treetune. She stopped midsentence upon seeing Madotsuki poking what appeared to be someone lying in the snow with a knife. "Don't poke him!" Tree said, and pulled Madotsuki away. "So, um, you think he's dead? I mean, I guess he will be soon if he already isn't 'cause it's so cold out..."

Voices? Coheed opened his eyes slightly to see a young girl and a strange bat-like girl as well. Suddenly something came over him and his left arm shot out and grabbed Madotsuki's arm, showing that the blades Treetune had seen were actually attached to it. It wasn't that he wanted to scare her, he just suddenly felt scared himself almost.
"H-Help...me..." he tried to say, now hyper-aware of how cold he really was and how he was likely going to die.

Tree jumped. "Holy shit!" After getting over the initial shock of seeing a guy with blades attached to his arms, she and Madotsuki both grabbed an arm and helped carry Coheed to the igloo.
"Crud, I don't think we have any medical supplies at the moment..." Tree sighed. "I guess we can cover him in blankets or something so he doesn't go hypothermic... Madotsuki, go get some blankets." The little girl trudged off to another part of the igloo to go grab the blankets from off their beds.

Coheed allowed them to carry him off to a nearby igloo. They laid him down somewhere, a bed he guessed, and watched as they tried to find blankets for him. He was thankful that they found him yet at the same time almost wished no one came. It was all so confusing anyway. It didn't matter now though, all that mattered was he needed to warm up.

After a few minutes, Madotsuki rushed back over with several blankets and tossed them on Coheed carelessly. "Geez, Madotsuki, at least put them on properlly..." Tree complained, and looked over at Coheed. "So, uh, who're you anyway?"

Coheed tried to fix the blankets himself so they were on better. Then he turned to Treetune. He hadn't really spoke much since he woke up in that lab...or whatever it was, so he wasn't sure how it would sound even.
"Uh...my...name?" he started, surprised by his own deep and quiet voice ", My name is...C...Coh...it's Coh...Coheed! That's my name!" Truth be told, that's all he could really remember, and he barely remembered that even.

"Oh, okay. I'm Tree, and that's Madotsuki. Sorry about the knife pokin' think earlier; that's how she greets everyone." Tree sighed. "So, uh, care to explain the knives pokin' out of your arm?"

Coheed looked down at his bladed arm with disdain. He felt as though he should know but he couldn't seem to remember.
"Uh...to be honest...I don't remember why they're there..." he replied, silently cursing their presence.

"Eh, well, it's not as weird as any other stuff on this island. Say... you didn't see a really bored looking blonde lady on the way here, did ya?" Tree asked.

"No...I don't believe I did. I'm sorry," Coheed replied, sounding like he was completely out of it. He was deep in thought at the moment, trying dig into his subconscious and grasp at least one little memory. However hard he tried he couldn't seem to remember a thing past his first name.

Tree let out a sigh of relief. "Phew, good. She's been a huge bother for a while... That's why I've been living up in this hellhole in the first place."
She took a quick look at Coheed's face, and determining that he was more confused than bored, was sure he wasn't her.

Coheed sat motionless for a few minutes, unsure of what to say or do. He couldn't remember anything as hard as he tried so he gave up for the moment. Staring down at his lap he suddenly realized something wrong.
"Hey, you don't happen to have any extra clothes do you?" he asked ", This robe isn't going to really keep me warm out there..."

"Not at the moment, though I can probably craft something up if you give me a few minutes... give me a sec." Tree ran off to another room and slammed the door (why the igloo had a blast shelter door, no one could know). After a few minutes of explosions, sparks, and even more explosions, Tree came out carrying a jacket almost completely identical to her own, though the sleeves were removeable, strangely enough, and it was red. She tossed it to Coheed.
"Here-- the Sheer Cold v.2. Resistant against heat, cold, and physical attacks. You can also remove the sleeves in case you ever need to hurt anyone with those knives on your arm. It won't tear easily, and it's basically a suit of armor, except made of cloth and alchemy." She explained. "I'll get you some pants later."

Coheed watched with much curiosity as Tree ran off into the back room. He wished he could see what was going on in the room but there was oddly enough a door blocking the way.
He took the jacket in his hand and felt it. It seemed warm enough.
"Thankyou..." he nearly mumbled, a bit unsure how to react.
