The green sky that hung over the industrial park seemed even more ominous than normal. Maybe it was the trail of papers leading up to one of the factories, its doors wide open. Maybe there was just something without a soul residing somewhere inside...

(XD Wonderful title, there.)
...I'm guessing the omnious building the last post described is the place I gotta go, Eddy noted to himself as he surveyed his surrounding, perched atop a crane in disrepair. Spotting this location, he leaped down and hit the ground running, dashing towards the building.

When Eddy reached the bulding, the doors were already wide open. It seemed to be some sort of a warehouse, long abandonned by whoever had left the plant to its own devices. A sillhouette stood in the center of the toom, no features distinguishable.
"Hello, Eddy. If you could just remove your shoes, I'll tell you everything you want to know."

"...huh?" Eddy gave the figure a wierd look. "My shoes?" Hesitating for a couple of seconds, he obeyed, kicking them off. "Fine, whatever. What do you want?"

"What do any of us want?" The man asked emotionlessly. With a pulling motion from his arm, the light above him suddenly burst into life.
Disco stood with a cold smile on his face. Most smiles showed happiness-- this smile only showed teeth. "So, how did you like my note? Be honest; I can take criticism."

"Terrible," Eddy muttered, hardly phased by the grin. "Your spelling sucks."

Disco stopped smiling and glared at Eddy through his shades. "That's just made me angry. I was going to kill you anyway, but now I'll have to do something worse..."
Without a moment's hesitation, the assassin clicked his heels together, producing blades from the toes of his shoes. He charged at Eddy, his shoes making a distinctive sound every now and then, as if they'd come in contact with something small and hard.

"WAGH!" Eddy zipped out of the way, clinging to a nearby pillar, halfway up. "Geez! Can't you taking a freaking joke!?"

"No. Not really." Disco answered, cracking his neck ominously. "You should also watch where you step. Before you came here I made sure to litter the floor with caltrops. I'm just surprised you were dumb enough to take off your shoes."
Calmly, the psychopath approached Eddy's discarded shoes and, slinging them over his shoulder, turned to face his target yet again. "I thought landmines might be overkill. Caltrops, though-- those can really dig into your feet if you're not careful."

(*looks it up* ...I learned a new word! ^_^)
"Cal-WHAT!?!" Eddy clunged to the pillar, looking over the floor and finally spotting the rusted, barbed traps that littered the area. "Geez... I guess that's better than blowing up, but.... why!? What the heck do you want from me!?!"

"I want a paycheck." Disco answered calmly and quickly. "Somebody paid me to kill you, and I always finish a job." As he spoke, with an almost mechanical movement, he pulled a hunting knife from a pocket inside his jacket.
"I'll tell you what-- if you can make me bleed, I'll tell you who hired me. Does that sound fair?" The smirk on Disco's face was disturbingly similar to pictures of the Big Bad Wolf from children's literature.

"Oh... another assassin, huh?" Eddy paused. "...weird. Usually you guys want my buddies instead of me. Heh."
Sliding down the the pillar, making sure he didn't land on a caltrop, he faced Disco, fire erupting in his fists.
"Okay, you're on. I wanna meet your employer and thank him for noticing me."

Disco stared at the fire for a few seconds, surprised. He hadn't heard anything about this...
Still, it didn't bother him. As long as the kid couldn't run around, Disco still had the advantage. Jumping towards him, the killer hit the groung running and held his knife in an attacking position.

Seeing his attack, Eddy leaped up and swiped the flames across the blade, hoping to make it too hot for the assassin to hold. He anded his chain with a kick to the face, flipping backwards and landing on his hands, then feet. Looking back, he realized that if he had planted his feet down flat, a caltrop would've been driven straight into his heel.
"...woo... close one."

Disco stumbled backward when the kick hit, but he kept his grip on the knife. "Heh... heh..."
His nose was probably broken. No big deal. However, something else had been damaged by the kick. The lenses in Disco's sunglasses were now empty and filled with broken glass. His eyes shined with a ferociousness that was completely inhiman. With a quick flick of his head, Disco discarded his sunglasses. Then, wasting no time, he charged at Eddy yet again; this time, with no obvious strategy.
