Culex stood at the edge of the island and stared out into the void. He wasn't sure what it was but he could sense a disturbance in the dimensional fabric.
"Something's coming..." he thought out loud.

"What do you mean?" Alan asked. He was in his civilian clothes, trying to hide his identity as a ranger, and had seen Culex staring out at the void. "Something's always coming to this place."

Culex quickly turned around to look at Alan.
"Hm? Oh sorry, just thinking..." he continued to stare out. His eyes narrowed as he stared deeper into the black abyss.

Jeff, who had come along with Alan stared into the abyss as well. "I feel something, too." He muttered. "There's a huge upset in chi energy..."

Culex continued to stare deeper into the darkness until he noticed something strange. A small blackish sphere surrounded by a purple aura floated therel.
"What in the..." he stared at it for longer and noticed it was starting to slowly grow ", I think I found the source of the problem." He pointed out at the sphere.

"Why does that look familiar?" Leon wondered as he stood on a cliff far away from the other fighters, overlooking the scene with interest. Somewhere away, Terra looked up at the same sphere. "It's here," he said, his voice dark and emotionless, his body clothed in male's garments for once.

"Though I don't know what a zord is," a deep voice spoke from behind Culex, Jeff and the others ", I doubt it could take what's coming. What you see forming is going to soon be a massive sphere of subspace. It appears as though the Subspace Army has chosen a new target..."
"Subspace army?" Culex asked ", Sounds...interesting..."

Meta-Knight was a bit confused at Ethan's question but blew it off.
"This isn't going to be pretty let me tell you that," Meta-Knight informed.
"How long do you think it will take for it to expand to it's full size?"
"Who knows, that depends on what it's full size is."
