A Peaceful Place

"Yeah, she's telepathic. She's usually quiet like that when she wants to have a one-on-one conversation with me." Sabrina said. She was still thinking about what Mia said to her and wondered if this person would do anything.

Mr. Copycat smiled through the pain. "No need to get so suspicious of each other. As long as no one starts any problems, we shouldn't have any problems either, right?"

He seemed to be trying to mediate this. It didn't look like it was going well.

"Well you seem to be having small problems around psychic people, have you ever found a way to fix that?" Bashton asked Mr. Copycat raising a eyebrow while not answering.

Sabrina did think about that. Mia pops out of her pokeball and he gets the world's biggest migrane, that goes away when she disappears. Some of the stuff he said sounded pretty weird too. Exactly what was going on with Mr. Copycat?

Even his name tips you off. She thought.

Though, she still remained wary of Bashton. She's only been here for less than an hour and the first people she meets are clearly not normal.

Mr. Copycat gave a nervous grin. "No, well, yes, but it didn't go very well. Since it was meant to fix defectives, and since I'm technically a defective..."

And now he was talking like he wasn't human.

Then again, he was far from human.

Bashton had a face that could be interpretted of disliking Mr. Copycat. "So... you're a defective? That doesn't sound very human-like to me." Bashton just said to Mr.Copycat as he pulled from his robe a small brass coin and started to flipping it in the air and catching it.

"Defective? You're talking like you're some kind of robot." Sabrina said.

"Ah... well, I'm not a robot, but I'm not exactly human either," Mr. Copycat said. "I suppose the best description would be an inorganic shapeshifter."

It was amazing how easily he could reveal that.

Bashton just threw the coin away as he walked next to Mr. Copycat once more. "So I'm going to guess you don't really look like this?" he said plainly.

An inorganic shapeshifter? Sabrina thought. It didn't sound too weird to her considering the kind of world she came from. But, Mia said she didn't have to worry about him so it shouldn't be a problem.

Mr. Copycat nodded. "I don't like revealing my true form to people though... it usually scares them. I don't like scaring people."

Bashton just shrugged and replied, "Do whatever you want, won't scare me but I'm not sure about her." he said pointing to Sabrina.

"Um, no thank you. If you say your true form is scary, I'll take your word for it." She said.

Mr. Copycat seemed very grateful. "Thank you. As it is, though, I currently have a horrible allergy to psychics and people who can sense auras, hence why I was in a lot of pain earlier and still am as it is."

"Well maybe some of the powers I forget I have are psychic-based." Bashton replied with a small shrug while looking at Mr.Copycat.
