Kratos stood in the arena, crossing his arms. He was awaiting the arrival of his new pupil, Ed. He was ready to start the boy's training right away now.

Alucard sat in the bleachers. A demon was supposed to appear after Kratos and Ed were done training. He was under orders by Integra to kill it. However, since it had not appeared and would not appear, he decided to watch the so called God of War train his new pupil.

"You finally came, pupil." Kratos said, turning around. "Your training can now begin." At that, he dropped a heavy sword on the ground. "First, we shall work on your close range ability." He told him.

Heh. That sword isn't meant for any normal human. Let's see just how this kid wields it if he plans on being Ares' pupil, Alucard thought.

Kratos examined. As he thought, the boy lifted it with no trouble. He drew out the Blades of Athena. "Now then...." He took out his swords and started to attack Ed.

Well... this is quite interesting. He lifts that sword as if it were nothing... Heh, this kid has strength. Maybe I should test him myself one day... See if he's strong enough for Hellsing, Alucard thought, but then shook his head. Integra would have my head... Even I cannot risk that.

"oooh... WAH!" Ed quickly blocked Kratos' first few attacks, but was struck with the last, launched back from the force and torn up pretty badly from the blade. A clear cut went down the side of his face down to his chest.
(don't worry, he ain't dead. I'll wait for your reactions before his power kicks in)

"...whew...ugh...Sorry, Kratos!" Ed stood up easily, the skin on his face melting back into place. Super-healing was certainly helpful. "Here I come!"

Well I'll be damned, Alucard said, though the grin never left his face. This kid is stronger then I thought... Maybe he could take Seras on in a fair one-on-one fight... Maybe even Sir Integra.
