Kratos blocked most of them, and got slashed a few times. He examined the boy's movement. He then tripped him and placed his blade against his neck. "If this were a real fight, you would be dead already." He said. He let him back up. "Your position and sword wielding is weak. You'll never survive in battle if you figth like that."

Ed blinked. "But I don't fight with swords! I fight with this!" With that he zapped Kratos with zero-point energy, freezing him in place.

(it's not ice, fenrir. It's an energy that negates movement. Think of Syndrome from the Incredibles when he froze them and lifted things with that device on his wrist: same thing)

Alucard laughed. Obviously, Kratos was egotistical and full of pride. "Foolish immortal. You may think yourself a god, but in the end, you are just one strong human," he said.
