"Show me how it ends, it's alright..." She cooed softly in a sing-song voice. In her hands she held a white rose, she lifted it and took in its sweet scent. "Lay your hand on me...one last time...well that's alright...let's give this another try~" She knew she wasn't singing the song in order, she merely was singing parts she liked. "You're so cold keep your..hand in mine..."
She took a step forward, placing the rose in a bush of red ones. The single white rose stood out from the rest and her dead eyes sparkled. It was beautiful just like it always was. But she felt lost...very lost...where had her companion gone? She hadn't any idea anymore. Yin had been forced away and had been gone for about a year now. It was terrible that her parents had caused such an event. Yin felt she was a bit teared up just thinking about it - but she forced those back. No, she wasn't going to cry because Izumi don't cry and neither do Akatsuki. She had been told Akatsuki don't cry...
"Wise men wonder while...strong men die..."
(I created Deidara's bio ~ for Wulfy. But since she's no longer here, I give it to Cloudy for use.c:)

There were plenty of things that Deidara didn’t really understand. For example, Tobi. He didn’t understand how somebody so monumentally stupid got into Akatsuki in the first place. But, for the moment, Tobi wasn’t around, so that was no concern. Another, far more irking (and, though he’d never admit it, terrifying) thing that Deidara didn’t understand is why Yin disappeared on him like that. It was like she was there one day but gone the next. No struggle, no violence, not even a sound, it was like she just stood up and left. Didn’t even take any of her things. That scared the hell out of him—something that could take Yin away without her even putting up a fight was something very, very bad. And if she just got up and walked away from him, for an entire year… wasn’t that worse?
The year hadn’t been kind to him. He’d spent pretty much every waking moment that he could on trying to find her. He’d had possible leads that all turned out to be duds. He had rumors that were proven false. He was starting to lose hope, just a little bit, though right now he was chasing after another possible lead, something he’d beaten out of a lesser demon. Or, more accurately, exploded out of it. That Yin had been forced into some far-off land of yadda-yadda because of blah-blah-blah, whatever, none of his business. All he learned was Yin’s apparent location, and that was enough for—
“Fffph! Thhpt!” Deidara spat and rubbed his mouth on his sleeve. Stupid bugs. They always fly right into his mouth whenever he’s on one of his birds, traveling higher for longer distances. He started bringing it down as the location came into view, and searched around for signs of her. Meaning, basically, he looked for lakes, rosebushes, and chaos. He found one out of three by a garden near a church, and for one moment, he didn’t actually believe it was her that he was seeing. In the next moment, though, as he watched her sniffing a fucking flower after she had disappeared for a whole goddamn year and, and he couldn’t even think straight. He swooped down near to where she was.
“What the hell, Yin, hm?!” he shouted. “Just what the fuck did you leave for? Do you know how worried I’ve been? Do you, hm?!” He wanted to just stand atop his bird and lecture her for hours, really, and he probably would.

The day had been quiet - utterly quiet. That was...until someone was suddenly yelling at her. Yin flinched as her dark eyes turned, wide, at the individual. The wind catching the scent she found it familiar. Yes - she knew this scent very well. Yin recalled how she used to be completely covered in it daily from always being near it. She had enjoyed that...it had soothed her and kept her emotions under control.
"You..." She muttered quietly, shaking her head. The surprise wore off and she relaxed just a bit. "How did you find me? I never expected that to happen..."
With a powerful jump she was suddenly on the bird with him. Her arms wrapped tightly around the blonde. "Oh goodness...I'm so sorry...so sorry...I missed you."

Naturally, Deidara was happy to see her, even if he was very cross at the time. He wanted to just go down, pick her up and drag her back home. Kicking and screaming, if necessary. But there were more important things to do. Like give her a piece of his mind, for example. “Who cares how I found you, hm? Did you not want to be found or some—” he started, but then was interrupted by her jumping all the way up to the bird and hugging him. Tightly. He let out a disgruntled mutter of protest, at first, but once he felt her arms around him again, he knew it was barely worth it. He put his arms back around her with an annoyed sigh.
“You should be sorry for ditching me like that, yeah,” he said with a huff. “Better not do it again.”

Soft whimpers escaped her and Yin sounded like a dog who had been abandoned. She curled closer and tried to let out a soft purr of joy. It came out sounding weird due to her whimpering mixing in with it. But it was obviously she was torn in her feelings. "I didn't mean to." She replied, glancing up guiltly from her hug. "I didn't have a choice..."

Deidara had no idea what the fuck the sounds she was making were supposed to be. It was like she was happy and whiney at the same time, and he really just didn’t get that. Maybe she was just feeling torn? But between what? This looked pretty black-and-white. She ditched him, he found her, end of story.
“What do you mean you didn’t mean to, hm?” he said, staring down at her. “You were just gone. If someone had forced you, I hope you’d put up a better fight, yeah. Tell me why.”

"I can't...fight against them. But I can't tell you who they are. It'll get you in trouble if I say anything." Her eyes darted around nervously. Her hold suddenly became protective and the hair on her neck seemed to bristle slightly. "I did put up a fight...just not a physical one. Physically, a fight was impossible."

“…Hmph.” He didn’t really have anything to say to that. He might not have believed her, had her grip on him not changed and her attitude seemed to become more cautious, as if waiting for something to jump out and snatch them away. “I see. More secrets, hm. You’ve always been fond of those.” He inwardly sighed, guessing what would come next. She’d tell him he’s not safe here, that she has things to deal with. Well, he wasn’t going to put up with that shit anymore.
“From now on, you go nowhere without me, yeah. That’s final.”
