Dark ceepy aura of evil sounds like home

A portal appeared somewhere on the other side of the castle of Zenaku and Numbah Two and what could only be described as an angel flew out of it. It almost closed on her bare foot, but she managed to propel away with a flap of her wings in time to save it. The council had been right about not being able to hold it open very long.

She almost wished she hadn't come out of the portal as it snapped shut. The presence here was almost deafening. It was quite clear what it was, anyone with an ounce of spiritual sensitivity could feel it. And even the young human male she was merged with was more sensitive to this kind of thing than most humans. If that was there....

She felt the human she was merged with fighting her. She landed on the ground. If he managed to gain dominance she didn't want to be up in the air as her wings would vanish with his dominance. She willed him to stop, his fighting would announce her presence to every demon in the area.

Those with the power to sense energy and auras could pick up on the mid-level strength holy power coming from her location. Those with instruments that could pick up ghosts or other paranormal activity would be going nuts... not that Zenaku himself wouldn't be making them go haywire.

(OOC: night, this is Hermia, the other major character from Hades' original setting. Even if Zenaku couldn't pick up on her aura, Chaos could, so as a result they would both be aware.)

Zenaku paused turning he was aware, not sure how, of someone on the other side of the castle, he would deal with her latter.

"Chris, would you calm down!" Hermia clapped her hands over her mouth. She hadn't meant to yell. The acoustics in the area were insane. They seemed to channel every sound and she would not have been surprised if the force on the other side of the castle and anyone else within a mile radius had heard her. Guess it made it a good haunted castle... a mouse scuttering could probably be heard all over the place.

"Another one huh?" Zenaku laughed, another to help in his revenge. After he corupted them.

Hades was about half a mile from the scene. The energy was the same as it had been in the park, but as he got closer he stopped short and somehow "stumbled" mid-flight. Had he just felt... anything but that.

"Please... not her..."

It wasn't fear. Just an extremely annoyed tone of voice muttered under his breath. It made hid annoyed comments towards Kid and Kanto before seem like he'd adored their every action. It was apphrension. He didn't want it to be right. He didn't need that aggravation right now.

In any case, it was obvious Hades was bothered. And he had "stumbled" so quickly it was entirely possible anyone following him from the air could ahve run into him.

Hermia was still unaware of Hades presence. The sky was dark enough that it was hard to make out the winged kid. And Hermia's powers had nothing on Hades'. Not to mention the power of Chaos was pretty much killing her chances of sensing anything else. She walked, not appreciated the feel of rubble, grass, and dirt under her bare feet. She would have flown had she not still been worried about losing dominance.

She walked to the edge of the castle and peered around. She still couldn't see the source of the slightly-off presence of Chaos.

Kid quickly caught up to Hades after a very long time spent flying, and stopped next to him.
"Oh Jesus. Now what? Tummyache? The runs?! Come on, we have a reject to go catch! Now lead the way! Hurry up!" Kid said. He was growing increasingly impatient. He wanted that power no matter what, and the only way to get it would be to get it out of that Darkrai first. And to do that, he needed to stay with Hades.

"Guh!" Kanto said as he went to a sudden stop. "Man you were right! It's so cold!" he exclaimed shivering a bit.

Chris seemed to have finally calmed down, much to Hermia's relief. He usually only gave her trouble after a re-merge. She flapped her wings and took to the sky. She wanted a better look at the situation. She would have never admitted needing the help of a demon, but she had to admit she wouldn't last long against Chaos.

She looked up for a good vantage point and saw a draconic winged kid with a very familiar scythe held in one hand. Two kids she didn't know were with him and for half a second she thought maybe she had just misrecognized the scythe. The thought of Hades working with humans was laughable. But she felt something from Chris. It was Hades.

Hades caught the feathered wings out of the corner of his eyes as he was turning to give Kid a piece of his mind. He facepalmed with his free hand as Hermia flew up to the other boys.

"Hades, why aren't you fighting!?" she exclaimed. Luckily she was past the area of the acoustics and Zenaku wouldn't be able to hear her.

To those who looked at Hermia closely, it would become apparent that she was either very flat chested or did not have any developments of that sort. Of course, this could mean interperting her as a very feminine guy, as well.

Kid looked between Hades and Hermia for a second, and then broke down laughing.

"Hades?! Hades?! Your name is Hades?! Are you serious?! D-Do you have friends called Hell and Pluto? What about Naraku? Bwahahaha! That's the stupidest 'dark and angsty' name I've ever heard, and I've read My Immortal!" Kid said. He was absolutely cracking up, doubling over from how how hard he was laughing. It wasn't even that funny, but to Kid, it definitely seemed to be.

"I'd suggest we don't make fun of him right now Kid he doesn't seem in the right mood to be okay with that." said Kanto as he continued to hang onto the wings.

[mugenginga]

Hermia was confused. Hades had put up with this human brat?

"He took it cause he identifies with the figure. Y'know how he was forced to guard a place he didn't want to? And it was a really important task?"

"You don't need to tell them my entire history, Hermia!" Hades shot back.

He hoped that Kid would pick up on the name Hermia in relation to the god Hermes, and he stressed her name in an attempt to point it out. Anything to get the kid off his back. He wasn't distracted from the situation with Zenaku and Chaos, but he hadn't felt anything in the way of a surge of energy. It meant that Zenaku wasn't causing havoc at the moment.

(OOC: I don't remember Kid introducing hiimself, but I'll go with that Hades thinks "Kid" and "kid" are the same thing. XD)

"H-Hermia?! Seriously?!" Kid started cracking up at that too. "So what, are you all named after inferior Greek gods?! And on that note, you don't even look like a chick anyways!" He suddenly did something that would cause any self-respecting woman to get absolutely pissed: poked Hermia in the (albiet non existant) breasts.

"I mean, you don't even have any boobs! What kind of chick are you? Unless you're really a guy who wants to be a girl. Now that's just freaking creepy." Kid said.

"Um, uh. No thanks. I actually just recieved a call from my friend. She's kinda close." Numbuh Two said, still shaking. He didn't really know where Numbuh Five was, but he would say anything to get away from him before something happened. "So maybe I should just be on my way."

At that time, Numbuh Five spoke through the communicator that Numbuh Two dropped. "Numbuh Two, do you read me? Get outta there! That guy in front o' you is bad news!"

Um, duh. He thought.

Hermia slapped Kid's hand away with a solid amount of force, "Is that acceptable where you grew up!? What kind of bad example of humanity are you!? And I'm not either, neither is Hades! We're genderless! And nameless! Hades took his name to communicate with humans just like I did!"

Hades pointed, "See? Low ranking messenger angel." In actuality, Hades was surprised at Hermia's outburst. She was usually a lot calmer than this.

"And you're a poor excuse for a demon, letting this brat live!"

The volume at which Hermia was yelling meant it was highly likely Zenaku and Numbah Two could hear them.

"Aw crap Kid is making trouble again." Kanto muttered as he continued to float in the air.
