Dark ceepy aura of evil sounds like home

Hermia leapt into the air as Zenaku duplicated himself, making it impossible for Numbah Two to take her hand. It wasn't the Chaos she knew, but it seemed to be using its powers to its advantage. Mid jump she jerked and in a flash a nineteen year old boy in a red hoodie jacket fell out onto the ground, almost as if he had fallen from her.

"Chris!"

The young man muttered about the pain all while scooting backwards. He was glad he'd pulled out, he had thought he was going to have to express himself which would have meant an even ruder landing. This was way creepier than usual. What really through him off was Zenaku's shape. He wasn't into the franchise, but he recognized it from movie advertisements that spammed cartoon channels even if he didn't know the name. Darkray?

"You are NOT roping me into a fight against some cartoon monster!" he managed to shout.

Hades felt like facepalming. The demon-like thing had duplicated itself, even though the majority of the Chaos seemed to be centered on the one that the vaguely humanoid creature had kicked in the head. Was it able to sense the concentration of power too?

And now there was a huge number of people to prevent from killing themselves. The most he could do at this point was serve as a distraction. He flew to put some distance between himself and the copies of Zenaku. He flew past the auto-piloting plane to do so. When he passed it showed that he could fly faster than one might other wise think. He aimed the top of his staff at the one with the concentration of power. A beam of dark energy surged from the orb at top and flew at the creature.

I never thought I'd think this, but I hope Chaos decides its had enough abuse soon... If we can just tire its host out enough, it should leave to protect itself... He wasn't going to tell the others that. It was to the group's advantage to keep the shadow as unaware of Chaos' way of fighting as possible.

Kanto had been charging energy into his sword, but there were so many Zenaku's so he was confused. "Guh, better hope this hits the real one." he said as he shot the beam of thunder at one of the Zenaku's.

[night sky]

The lightning blot hit a zenaku and it poofed into nothingness. "you missed." a clone raised it's hand ready to deliver a shadow claw but paused when Night his the ground. "Ahh you're finaly here." The darkrai crackled.

[Firebreath Fishslap]

Kid couldn't help but facepalm at Kanto, who had forsaken safety to attack the Darkrai. "I thought I told you not to let go of them, you idiot!"
And just to emphasize this, he suddenly dropped to the ground to throw Kanto off balance.

And then more people arrived. "Son of a-- Alright, that's it. If any of you guys are with the reject over here, I'm going to personally kick your asses too, got it! Now, anyone who's got healing powers fall back! Anyone with kung-fu skills (that means you, you little Kirby game reject), concentrate on the stupid rejects over there! Just knock through them!"
Why Kid was ordering people around when he wasn't anything close to being the leader of this entourage? Who knows.
How did he know Darkrais are weak against fighting type moves? Again, who knows.

(OOC - We're establishing a posting order to avoid mass chaos, pun not intended. Night sky is the start and it follows in that order. Don't double post until everyone after night has had a chance to post!

Chris had no problem with the winged kid's suggestion. For all he knew, he was the only one with "healing" skills. Although he wasn't sure if first aid counted. Even if it didn't, he wasn't getting involved. He didn't want to move much either, afraid it would distract the five creatures attentions.

It's times like this I wish I knew more about Pokemon than the name...

Hermia had summoned a staff out of thin air the same manner Hades appeared to be able to summon his scythe. She concentrated on the staff after making sure she had a good grip on the gold cloth grip. She knew from experience charging the demon wasn't a good idea and the odd energy around the white jackal creature was throwing her focus off. So she flew over to Chris, who from the looks of things, was the most defenseless of the bunch.

Hades beam impacted the "real" Zenaku, but it didn't appear to do much. He hoped it would function like an annoying fly. He didn't count on it doing much more. He tried to fly to another part of the field. The other dark creatures may not have been as strong as the main one, but that didn't mean they were pushovers.

Chris was the only one who had appeared to hear Kid. Hermia was trying to prevent any deaths and Hades was showing his (lack of) skill in fighting with a team. They never listened to him anyways. He wasn't going to care if any of them got killed. Well, except for maybe Chris. It hadn't been his choice to merge with Hermia and get caught up in this mess.

I've never been more thankful for his reluctance to fight... the demon thought

Numbuh Five finally floated close enough to the ground to unbuckle her parachute and drop the rest of the way. There she ran over to Numbuh Two.

"Numbuh Two, you okay?" She asked.

"I'm alright, Numbuh Five." He answered.

She then looked back Zenaku and his clones. "You wanna help us against this guy?"

"Well, things do seem better with a group here and not just me." Numbuh Two answered.

"Ooof!" Kanto said as he hit the floor suddenly. "Guh, Kid! Here I don't need them anymore yelled Kanot as he threw the wings at Kid. "I'm just going to go all out." Kanto said as he stood up and charged his sword.

[night sky]

"I was wondering how long it would be before i managed to face off and test my new power against you." zenaku crackled as his four remaining clones cirled Night.
"Shut up and come." night growled.

[Firebreath Fishslap]

Kid caught the wings and looked at the clones. "Hey! Sword-boy! Take care of the clones around the spiked furry thing so he can take out the reject!" Clipping the wings to his ears, Kid flew into the air so he could get a better look at the battlefield.

"Stupidly named demon!" Kid pointed at Hades. "Get your ass into that battle so we can take care of the stupid reject! And stupidly named angel! Can you heal?"

"I'm only a messenger angel!" shouted Hermia, glancing nervously at Night. At this rate she was going to have to try her trump card, but she didn't want to leave Chris undefended.

Chris was still trying to process the situation. A Lucario that looked like it came out of Smash Brothers rather than the actualy games, a Darkray thing that had split into five pieces, a kid whose ears made him think of Sonic the Hedgehog...

"I've wandered into rejected video game character central..." he muttered to himself.

"Look, rabbit ears, I'm doing my part! Why don't you try fighting instead of telling people what to do!" shouted Hades.

Hades fired a beam of darkness at one of the clones this time. Zenaku was too focused on the white jackal beast to care about his attacks. He hated to admit Kid was right, but at this point it would be a better idea to take care of the clones and try and turn the numbers to their advantage.

Chris found himself chuckling despite his fear. Looks like he wasn't the only one who thought that the wings made the Cream-wannabe look like a rabbit. As for the healing, he'd need supplies. He wondered if the plane that had flown overhead had them. He also wondered why he cared this much about a bunch of people he had never seen, although the two kids in the fight reminded him of something... he wasn't good at thinking with death breathing down his neck.

(OOC: Cream from StH flies with her ears, or at least glides with them. Hence the thought from Chris. And Hades might not know that reference, but the way I'm picturing wings from your ears is very rabbit-like. XD - And excuse Chris' inability to pull up Darkrai's name. He only knows Lucario thanks to Smash Bros. XD. He thinks he recognizes Numbah Two and Numbah Five cause he does watch CN, just not that show. As fo Knuckle Joe, he'd probably only recognize major Kirby characters (and maybe the Waddle Bros)

"On it Wing-Ears!" yelled Kanto as he ran and slashed one of the clones down.

[night sky]

The one that Kanto slashed at dodged and released on ominous wind attack backed by the chaos. night spun planting both his paws on the chest's of two of the clones and a pules of energy coursed through the clones followed by another causing the two to vanish.

[Firebreath Fishslap]

"Kid, if anyone's a reject here, it's that thing." Kid said, pointing at Zenaku. "And I'm the one giving orders here, thank you very much, stupidly named demon! And I obviously know what I'm doing, unlike a certain failure guardian demon!"

Even so, Kid jumped down into the fray right on top of what he hoped was the real Zenaku, and kicked it upside the head.
"You can make clones and you're not even using them strategically! Idiot!"
And then he kicked it again.

Having made no effort to dodge Hades beam, it impaced with one of the shadows, severely weakening it. If it wouldn't die, maybe it would focus itself on Hades. He needed something to take frustration out on right now, what with Rabbit Ears and hsi comments.

I swear I've gone nuts...

Chris stood up and ran towards some trees to the side. It wasn't to hide, although he hoped everyone would take it that way. He was feeling like a coward for hiding behind the angel and he felt it was time to do something. He had no idea what, exactly, but if he could confuse the people in the battlefield, maybe he could come up with something.

Hermia heard Chris get up and grabbed for him, but he managed to sidestep out of the way. The council was going to kill her, she was supposed to stay with him. But for now they had to get the situation over with. She concentrated and her staff blipped out with a overly ornate gold and silver sword appearing in her hand. It would take a little more to get it aflame, but the extra holy energy might be just enough to effect the shadow creature.

Hades saw Hermia switch weapons.

I am NOT coming to your rescue if you collapse from doing that, he thought.

(OOC: Next turn Hermia's sword will be all "flaming sword" ala some legends about angels. Well, unless someone attacks her. Chaos would NOT be fond of the sword, although since it knows Hermia might not be worried either. She isn't that great with it and it drains her energy quickly - collapsing IS a possibility.)

"Gahhh!" Kanto yelled as he was pushed back by the wind. "That freakin hurts..." he said as he got back up to charge his sword again.
