"I'M wondering why Grunty's not a skeleton," Banjo mused, looking at her fallen form as she sturggled to get up, like a turtle. "...she must've stolen somebody's life force. That CAN'T be good..."

Hunny yelped and jumped out of the way, pulling Momiji with him, the little crossdressing blonde crying out as the ice brushed against his legs, turning them blue from freezer burn, you could say. Hunny landed and placed Momiji down. "Go hide," he told the boy softly.

"Stupid children, you may want to leave before you get hurt," Fassad warned them.
"Yeah...I can see what you mean...." Lucas replied ", But what I don't understand is how Fassad is still alive. I watched him die....and then there was the needle..." Lucas mumbled the last part.

"Wha??" Grunty turned towards the kids. "When they'd get here!?"

"We... We were just exploring," Momiji whimpered. Hunny did not answer. No Haninozuka ever bowed to the enemy before. One wrong move and Grunty would see why they were called the best martial artists in the world... of Ouran High School Host Club history.

Hunny had flowers surrounding him as he spoke for some weird reason, probably for added cuteness, even though it wouldn't work against Gruntilda. "It's not like we knew people were going to be fighting down here."

"Hmph! Whatever!" Fassad huffed ", I need to be getting busy, I have much work to do in this place!"
"I wonder what Fassad's up to," Lucas mumbled ", Whatever it is it can't be good..." It was taking Lucas every ounce of his willpower to stay hidden. He really wanted to stop Fassad before anything happened but with this Grunty person there as well, it didn't look like it'd go well. On top of that it looked like Fassad had learned some PSI...

Grunty made an odd face. "....yyyeah. Cut the cute stuff, that don't work on me." Then she paused at a sudden thought. Then she smirked, her hand reaching behind her back. "But... the cuteness might actually be useful..."
Banjo cringed, knowing what she was thinking. "LOOK OUT!" he impulsively cried.
Before he could get that out, Grunty had whipped out a strange staff and shot a beam of energy towards Hunny.

Hunny dodged, but his stuffed bunny, as cute as he is, was hit. Hunny's eyes widened. "U-USA-CHAN!" he cried as he landed next to Momiji.
(The cuteness could still get stolen.)

(nah. Has to be living cuteness. It'd be too easy and not nasty enough for the witch, who HAS to wreck SOMEONE'S life to get what she wants XD)
"GAH!" Grunty growled. "I can't get beauty from a TEDDY BEAR!" Twitching she looked to the side. "...and speaking of bears...!"
Banjo gave Lucas a silent motion to stay hidden, and though he was sick to his stomach at the thought of facing the witch by himself, he stepped out into the open.
"...Gruntilda... long time no see. Wish it was longer."

Even though nothing happened to Usa-chan, Hunny was still angered by the mere fact that the witch had struck it. Momiji was still behind him. If Gruntilda acted, she could still hit one of them.
