"Like the fleas in my fur." Banjo smirked to himself. That was a good one. He'd have to tell Kazooie about it later.

Lucas sat still for a moment. He watched Banjo face Grunty but he couldn't stand sitting there any longer. He jumped out of his hiding spot and pointed at Fassad.
"I can't let you...do whatever it is you're gonna do Fassad!"
Fassad stared at Lucas in astonishment.
"D-Dammit! Not you, not again!!"

Banjo glanced quickly to Lucas, then nodded, letting the boy stand out his side.
"What? Another goody-goody?!" Gruntilda made a face. "GAH! There're too many of you, I swear!"

"Joy, another stupid villian!" Lucas retorted ", I don't know what you two are planning on doing but we're not going to let either of you...do it..." Lucas was never that good at being heroic, being the timid young boy he was.
"I'm not affiliated with that witch Lucas!" Fassad scoffed ", Either way I don't care what you say, this place is mine and I won't let you take it! You or that idiot bear!"

Banjo couldn't help but grin towards Lucas. He liked the kid already. But the idiot comment made him flinch. Especially considering what Kazooie said to him earlier.
"If you weren't smart enough to figure out the kind girl I am before and now, then I don't need you anymore!!!!"
"Say... speaking of, where's that stupid Kazooie?" Grunty smirked. "She finally grew a brain and flew the backpack?"
Banjo cringed. A heavy chord was struck. "Sh-shut up!"

"Hm? Who's Kazooie?"
Fassad listened with interest.

Banjo, glarring daggers at Gruntilda, sighed. "...my partner. Or, she was. Some psycho gave her dark powers, and..."
"HAH! See?! Darkness always wins!" Grunty leaned forward smugly. "Interested in crossing over yourself?"
"NO! I'd never!" Banjo growled. "Kazooie can do what she wants because she's a strong, indepedent woman! She made her choice! And I'm making mine!"
Grunty stood back, surprised. Curious. The bear had certainly grown quite a spine since they last met.

Lucas gave Banjo a sympathetic look then turned back to Fassad and Gruntilda.
"Well...I may not know all the details...but I'm not ready to let either of you take anything over or hurt anyone!" Lucas got into a battle stance, the tips of his fingers flashing with PSI.
Fassad stepped back a bit but suddenly seemed more confident.
"HA! I don't know if you're forgetting one important detail of who I really am Lucas," he sneered ", Over the years I've attained some of this PSI as well!"
Lucas flinched a bit, now realizing this was going to be worse then he thought.

"Hmmp! Whatever PSI is, it doesn't scare me!" Banjo unsheathed his claws. It was somewhat foreign to him; he didn't have to do it as much before. "Come on, Lucas, let's toast this guys!" He cringed, grinning sheepishly. "Er... sorry if that sounded corny. Kaz was better with fighting words."

"Ohoho, you should be afraid bear!" Fassad laughed.
Lucas chuckled a bit. "Hehe, don't worry, I'm not good with fighting words either. That's Kumatora's job for me. Anyway, right, let's go!"
Lucas jumped toward Gruntilda and Fassad ready to attack.

"GAGH!" Grunty snarled rabidly, sending out a nasty spell at Lucas.
"Whoa!" Swiftly, Banjo jumped in the way, blocking the attack with his backpack.

Lucas went to cover himself with his arms but Banjo had blocked the attack.
"Th-thankyou!" Lucas jumped out from behind Banjo ", My turn now! PK Love gamma!" Flying from Lucas' fingers came a geometric blast of white PSI energy towards Grunty.
Meanwhile Fassad figured Banjo was distracted enough so quickly he pointed a finger at Banjo and shouted ", PK Beam beta!" A quick and powerful beam of PSI shot from his finger towards Banjo.
(Just a side-note, Fassad doesn't really know any PSI during Mother 3 as far as I know...I'm just adding this...cause. I don't want to explain |3 )

"GAHAHAHA! Nice shot!" Grunty cackled towards Fassad.

Fassad gave a smug grin at Banjo and laughed a bit ", Nwehehehe!"
The hit seemed to distract Grunty however as Lucas had thrown PK Love gamma straight for her.
(I think you forgot that he attacked in the first place |D ; )
