A Portal Gone Wrong

Night flung a few aura Spheres before calling upon his bone rush as he faced Telaan as he got close to where night was. "Great, not only is this the guy that called upon them, but he want's my head so bad he'll slice right through his own un-dead to get to me, great. Night thought even as he Blaze kicked three undead in a row.

Slicing through the last ghoul, Telaan lowered his axe and turned to face the little creature. "Good fight. You arn't half bad, for a little one."

"Just because i'm smaller then you doesn't mean you're stronger or a better fighter." Night responded. "Though you're not half bad yourself."

"Although you do have one distinct disadvantage. You tire. I don't," Telaan said, the edge of his mouth creeping up into the closest a smile had come to his face in a long time. He walked over to his steed, untied a sack from a saddlebag, patted its flank and watched it slowly fade into the shadows, returning to the Shadow World. "So where is this place?"

"an island over an void that if we fall into we die." night responded.

"Sounds very much like Draenor." Telaan said. "Or the Outlands I guess they're called now." A look of remorse crossed his face. Reaching into the sack, he pulled out a pair of maps. One showed a planet with three continents. Two, on opposite sides of the planet with a great ocean and a maelstrom in between and a crescent shaped continent to the north, the other map showed what appeared to be a large continent and some inter-connected islands floating in space. It was to the second that Telaan pointed. "Look familiar?"

"Yeah actualy." Night took a look, "but judgeing by how i've been here a while and not even heard of it's not that place."

"Hmm..." Telaan carefully folded the maps and stowed them in the sack. "That was my homeworld, Draenor. Although they don't call it that since it was shattered." He rummaged around in the sack, pulling out a small grey stone, a blue swirl inscribed into its center. As he held it, and tried using the special magic it controlled, it crumbled in his hand, his only connection the the Exodar lost. "Well, I guess my hearth and home are too far." He reached out with his mind, reached for the dark energy that surrounded anything, hoping to find the nexus that lead to the Ebon Hold. He found the dark energy, and found many nexuses, but none were familiar. He sighed. It looked like Azeroth, the place he'd come to know as home, the land where he had crashed aboard an intergalactic spaceship, the land where he had fell in love, the land where he had died and been brought into undeath was gone, for now. He tipped his hand, letting the dust that was his hearthstone drift away on the wind. He stood up, turned and started heading down the road. "You going this way?" he called over his shoulder.

"I guess so. i don't have any thing better to do." Night chuckled, he quickly made cure his cape was still in one piece and padded silently behind Telaan. "My name is Night by the way."

"Telaan," He said. "What are you anyway?"

"I'm a lucario, native to the sinoh region of the pokemon world. I'm also an Aura Guardian." Night responded, "And what are you?"

"I'm a Death Knight of the Draenei people," He stated simply. He didn't expand on his answer, nor did he satisfy the curiosity evident in his voice, wonder what in Light's name the creature was talking about. His voice had also conveyed pain and sorrow, and Telaan fell into silence, contemplating his troubled past.

"sounds like you and i both have our issues within the past." Night told Telaan after useing his aura sight to understand the emotions telaan was feeling.

Telaan simply grumbled and kept walking.

"I'll take that as a yes." Night chuckled grimly.
