Red glared at Zero. "They will be fine."
-----------------
Kaito sat in his bed, and lay down, looking around the room. He had the television on, but he didn't recognize the show on at the moment. It was mostly background noise.
Zero had wandered off a while ago... Kaito wondered where the virus had gone. Even if they weren't sharing a room, their rooms were right next to each other. Kaito would have heard Zero return.

Zero shrugged and turned away, but paused to glance at Red, "Sleep with one eye open, then."
His shoulders shook a little as he chuckled and walked off. He actually had no intention of attacking the boy, but it was always fun to plant a seed of doubt. Besides, if the boy's sleep suffered, he would have an easier time attacking him later.
He headed up the stairs, aware that Kaito would need to be told he'd be out. There seemed to be a level of trust there, but he knew it was fragile. He needed to inform the Vocaloid of his actions if he were to keep it up.

Red flinched at this, but still walked away, to go find some nice trees to sleep under. He could work on getting enough money for a hotel room in the morning. Still, the rates there were insane... Especially since the map had advertised it being only $25 rooms...

Zero got up the stairs, the hairs on the back of his neck rising as he went through the hotel. This place really felt like something Palkia had raged in. It was mildy annoying.
He reached the room number he'd seen on Kaito's key and tapped against the door with the back of his fist. He had to tell the Vocaloid he didn't need sleep. He knew it would raise the isuses of why he bothered to get a room, and had an answer prepared.

Kaito climbed out of bed and opened up the door, seeing Zero.
"It sure took you a while. You going to bed?" Kaito asked. Unlike Zero, Kaito had visible bags under his eyes at the moment. It had been a rather long day, after all.
---------------
After walking for a bit, Red found a park bench to sit down on. Strange, since he wasn't anywhere near a park at the moment. Still, it would work as something to sleep on for now.

Zero shook his head, "I don't need sleep. I wasn't programmed to mimic humans in any fashion. Honestly, I wasn't intentionally programmed. You'll be okay, right? I'll be back here early morning."

Kaito nodded. "Yeah. See you in the morning then." He closed the door, and after some thought, locked it, before laying back down. After a few minutes, he fell asleep with the television still on. Some old movies were playing on TV.
---------------
Red turned on his side, shiverring. It was cold. He should have expected cold, since the leaves had changed colors, but he didn't have enough money to get a hotel room either.
The next morning, he had to look around for a Pokemon Center or some kind of free lodging place.

It was roughly 5AM when Zero rematerialized inside his hotel room. Wireless internet access was very much win as far as Zero was concerned. It meant he didn't have to use Mandark's systems and could get right into his hotel room.
His human form took hold and he scowled when he noticed a spot of missed blood on his jacket cuff. That alien was getting what it deserved after insulting him so much last night. And getting his clothes stained so badly. Zero chuckled. Humans had to fight tooth and nail to get blood out, and the best forensics teams could always find traces. Sucked to be human.
Zero pushed open the door to his room, well aware of the time. Kaito was probably still out, but he wanted to get to the ITS to check how things had gone with his messages last night. He knocked on the door to Kaito's room. If the Vocaloid told him to go away, he'd make no argument beyond telling him he'd be at the ITS.

Kaito groaned and sat up, checking the time on the clock. 5 AM. Either it was a maid, the hotel was on fire, or Zero was finally back.
"Who is it...?" Kaito asked sleepily.

"Kaito, are you up? I've got something I need to do at the ITS, any interest in coming?"
There was a rather large ulterior motive to the question. Zero expected a lot of bloodshed to occur that day, and having to kill to survive stood a good chance of furthering Kaito's cracked psyche. It wasn't an issue if he didn't come, however. Harassing Chip was more important than any side things like breaking Kaito.

Kaido rolled over. "Not today... I'll see you later..." He grumbled and eventually went back to sleep. He had other plans anyways, and it sounded like this ITS thing would take a while.

Zero shrugged, not even acknowledging Kaito's denial as he walked off. He headed into his room and went into viral form before going through the island's wireless connection. He had an alien to annoy.
