Terra walked to the cemetary and smiled softly. "I've been happy with Marth, my love," he said softly. "Everything's been going well and now we're... lovers... " He smiled softly. "I've never been more happy in my life. We're raising a daughter, even if she's not ours and even if her life's already technically been taken from her, and we've never been happier. I wish you could be with us." He dropped a flower for the grave and nodded. "I'll come see you again Shizune."
"Why?"
Terra turned, thinking someone was behind him, but saw no one. "What in the...?"
A hand suddenly shot up from the ground and Terra turned, his eyes widening as a body pulled itsself up from underneath. Terra began to back away, but let out a scream of horror as he saw who it was, who the body belonged to.
"Shi-Shizune!" he cried. The zombie attacked.

(got it. Just making sure!)
A sharp cling rattled through the air as the zombie's claws clashed against a bright sword. There before Terra stood his love, who had swooped in just in time to block the attack.
"Are you alright, Terra?" Marth asked.

"Ma-Marth!" Terra said.
"Friends of the Wizard's followers," the black robed figure stated, standing on one of the gravestones. His face was hidden, but he held a staff in his hands. "I heard you would be here. This worked out better to my advantage than I thought. The crossdresser was in danger and lured the prince."
"Who are you and what do you want with us?"
"You have fought alongside this fellow," the robed man said, showing a magical creation of Edd.
"Yes... to save the world..."
"He is a great evil and all who have interacted with him on friendly terms... are evil as well."

Marth blinked in surprise, then narrowed his brow. "You lie. I may have not been around him as often, but that lad was nothing but pure."

"I hardly know him, but I don't think an 'Angel of Light' could be evil. And what about yourself, raising my dead comrades!" Terra yelled, seeing more zombies of his friends from the war. "What are you trying to prove?!"
"Some follow some sort of rule... I'll do whatever it takes for the greater good," the necromancer said before he sent the zombies, screaming in tortured cries, at Terra and Marth.
"Damn you!" Terra yelled, realizing that he was facing yet another narrow-minded self-righteous ashole who no explanation could touch. That statement alone had proven it for him, that he'd do whatever it took for the greater good. It sounded like what his brother would say. They're dead. Dispatching their bodies would put their souls at rest. Terra drew his sword and slashed Shizune's body in half. "I won't be decieved. They've been dead for years, I..." Terra's eyes suddenly darted over as the body began to glow and an orange sphere raised from it.
"Oh, that's right... No one's explained necromancy generally enough to get a view of why it's so forbidden," the black robed man said. "See... body reanimation, raising the dead, is when you force the soul from its resting place back into the body before it can reincarnate. Then, when the body is destroyed... the soul goes with it." The orb than shattered with an unholy scream, the sound of a soul dying. "Souls being destroyed... that's why necromancy is forbidden. Congratulations dear. You permanently destroyed your lover."
That might as well have been a thousand knives to Terra, through the heart, through the mind, even somewhat through his sanity as his blade fell out of hand. Wh-What... Souls... You've got to be kidding me... "That's a lie! That's a damn lie!"
"No... I'd never lie about my beautiful art," the man said. "And I won't lie when I say it's going to destroy you."
(I also won't lie when I say I AM SO FUCKED UP! Thank you, have a nice day.)

(HOORAY FOR BEING FUCKED UP Mom says you always gotta do what you're good at 83) "You... you coward!!" Marth bellowed, holding his sword at bay and only using it to block attacks and push the zombies away. "You're railing against the heavens themselves, and with the Dark Arts aiding you to boot!? Lunacy!! Nothing but lunacy!"

"Is it lunacy or is it power?" the man asked Marth. "I have control over you now. You won't attack knowing the truth."
"... ... ... I hate you," Terra said with tears in his eyes. "But... I... I'm sorry. Your plan has failed."
"Would you be barbaric enough to end the souls of your comrades?"
"My comrades were strong in life," Terra said, pulling his sword. "They were ready for death if it meant to protect those they cared for... they'd rather be destroyed than see someone they fought with suffer."

"It is power ill gained!!" Marth growled, yet his expression softened considerably at Terra's words. At his strength and pure truth, he nodded frimly in agreement, pointing his sword again. "Shall we take down this coward together, Terra?"

(Song for the occassion: Terra's Theme ~ Le Ali del Principio www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNwgFfwsVhQReason: The final boss music for Baiten Kaitos II, the song carries a feeling not of "I'm getting hyped up," but more along the lines of "I do this because I must," a grand feeling for this kind of battle.) "Yes... but first... we have to tend to cutting down his guard. Though I wish not to... I still know they'd rather be destroyed than suffer this," Terra said. "Oh, so you're willing to destroy the souls of your friends. I always knew the Wizard's followers were disgusting and vile, but even for this..." the man sneered. "SHUT UP!" Terra yelled and sliced down the nearest zombie, feeling the pain inside grow as he witnessed the soul die. "You did this to them... for that... there is no punishment great enough on this Earth that you can suffer!"

Marth followed his example and sliced at another, destroying it as well. It was painful, no doubt, but... it was best.

Terra grimaced and tried to steel himself as he cut down the charging zombies one after one, but each one he cut, each screaming soul, he felt another stab in the heart, another cut in the psyche, another arrow to the mind. It killed him inside with each soul, practically dragging him into the depths of madness until, when there were no more zombies left to kill, he charged out at the necromancer with a howl of rage. The robed man turned to run, but tripped on his own footing. Karma had destroyed him. Terra managed to pounce on him in time and began to slice open his face. But he wasn't slicing to kill. No, the boy was cutting with little strokes, holding the man down as he cut him again and again, aiming to inflict the most pain possible.

Marth was surprised when Terra swooped in, hunting the robed figure down and slicing into him. The prince never could usually condone such cruelty, but... he knew that was how terra was, and he wouldn't say the necromancer didn't deserve it. So he slowly sheathed his blade and waited.

Terra was about to slice again when a hand stopped him and he was kicked off. "What... brutality. It's what you'd expect from the follower of evil," a man said with a frown.
"Yo-Yoko... finally you're here to," the robed man began until the other man's foot crashed down onto his head, ending your life.
"You are a disgrace to Wizard Hunters. Not only have you made us unnecessary enemies, but you have sank to a level the Wizard himself never even hit." The man, Yoko, looked up at Terra and Marth, his right eye hidden by his hair. "There are true Hunters like myself... then there are deformities in the system such as what this Necromancer was. You mustn't confuse pure-hearted individuals with scum like this man was."
