"Ugh, my friggin' head..." a Vulpix moaned as she slowly tried to stand up and rubbed her head. It was a female, a teenager from the looks of it, with slightly brownish fur, red eyes, bandaged legs and a teal sash tied around her neck, a Focus Sash that had been tied on her by a certain personal bitch of her's. "Where... where am I? And what the hell happened to Zeus?" she wondered as her view began to clear up, revealing bookcase after bookcase, all crammed with... books.
Aries' eyes widened at the books, she was definitely not in the Dark Cave anymore, and by the looks of those books, she wasn't sure if she was even in her own world. But if that was so, then where was she?
And where was that Manectric?
"Zeus, I swear, if a bookcase falls on us, I'm going to kill you."

"Well, that was a blow that I'm gonna feel in the mornin'..." a male Manectric stated as he slowly got to his senses, hoping to wake up to a team base or at least the Dark Cave again. Ohhohoh, this particular Pokemon will be in for a shock when he realizes that he's not in his own world anymore.
He was taller than most of his kind, and quite muscular as well, especially on the chest. His dark blue and pale yellow fur looked almost black and white, and he wore a red scarf around his neck, a Sneak Scarf.
Zeus sniffed the air as he slowly regained his eyesight, and gasped when he realized just what was surrounding him. Books never really seemed to like him for some reason...
And where did Aries go?
"Aries? Aries? Are you in here?" Zeus wondered as he started to walk around the library, though he could have sworn he heard something...
Some people are just trouble magnets, for soon there's going to be a book avalanche.

This really wasn't Chel's day.
She didn't know what was going on, but she was human again, and she was clothed, thank Arceus. She didn't know where Pan was, nor did she know how she'd gotten here. But, being a thief, her first instinct was to find something nice and expensive to steal so she could try making some money. Money meant she could find out what was going on here.
Too bad it turned out everyone was a bunch of superpowered freaks and she'd gotten her ass kicked the first time she'd tried stealing anything. So finally she'd decided to try stealing some gold embroidered copy of a book by some 'William Shakespeare' guy from the library.
And then she'd knocked down a bookshelf.
And they domino'ed.
"Son of a--" Chel dove out of the way of the bookshelf, landing a couple of feet away and watching them domino. "Well, that just made things a hell of a lot more complicated."

Today was not a good day so far for Aries. First, her team had been assigned to the Dark Cave, with only a single source of light avaliable to their party (which came form a certain Manectric she knew...), to find... something for a client on the other side of where they had entered near that down in the mountains.
Next thing she knows, she falls down a hole with Zeus, with the rest of Team Mythos who-knows-where, or possibly still in the cave, looking for the pair.
And the icing on the cake was when she heard something BIG fall. Well, since they were surrounded by bookcases, and since Zeus was prone to having books drop on him, it didn't take a rocket scientist to put two and two together, and not just to equal four.
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU ZEUS!!!!!!!!!"

Zeus had been content to just wonder the rows upon rows, searching for his missing companions, especially a hot-tempered Vulpix that was more than a little gender-confused.
He admitted that his day could have been better, especially if he had been spit out with the rest of his team in one location. Speaking of location, he had heard a voice that said 'kill' and 'Zeus' in the same sentence, and he could have sworn that voice sounded familiar... It then clicked.
Aries was here!
"Well, serve me up as a li'l doggy bone, I'm not alone in here after all!" he declared as he ran towards where he thought the voice originated. Well, he was running, until he heard something BIG collapse... And since they were in a bookstore, and he knew just what those things thoughts of him.
"Oh no, not again!!"
He then screamed at the top of his lungs, trying to find the exit before too many titles would fall on him, concussions be damned. He had already been hit by books that could crush a Natu, and even some that could crush a Zigzagoon.
Oh wait, the bookcases were now like dominoes, so yeah... he's going to get more than a few bruises. Though he's used to them by now.
"What did I ever do to anger the god of books?!"

Chel had moved well out of the way of the falling bookcases now, and at this point was just watching the spectacle. Really, she probably would have sat there watching it until all of the bookcases had fallen if she hadn't seen a Manectric running to escape them.
"Huh. A Manectric. Haven't seen one of those since..." Chel stopped, blinked, and looked back toward where she'd seen the Manectric. "Holy shit it's another Pokemon! I haven't seen a Pokemon since I got on this damn island!"
She grinned, and leaned against the wall to watch the show. Hey, she had to get her kicks somehow.

Aries ran through the collapsing bookshelves, screaming and cursing loudly as she did so. Dodging the many many pieces of literature was not her idea of fun, which may have actually made her pity Zeus for once in her life.
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU ZEUS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Okay, never mind the pity, replace it with 'feels more abusing him more than usual'. (And she tended to beat up the Manectric a lot)
The only thing stopping her from just incinerating all the books with Fire Blast was the fear that she just might bring wherever she is down on her.

"Leave me alone!! I don't even know where I am!! Help!!!" Zeus exclaimed as he tried to escape the collapsing bookcases, often getting nailed by books. Title after title whacked him on the head, which makes one wonder why he hasn't died of head trauma or at least suffered severe mental retardation.
And believe me when I say this, even the pointed mane won't block everything, though it will help in cushioning the blows at least. And still you can just hear the Manectric's brain cells dying off.
"Ow!! Ow!! OW!!! Pain!! Ow! Ow!!! OUCH!!!"
That was all he had to say before a particually heavy book dropped onto him, one that could probably kill a Growlithe.
He was grateful to be big now.
"YEOW!!!!!!!!!!"
"ZEUS!!!! Do I have to save your ass again!??"
It was at that moment that Aries heard the cry of pain and just happened to escape the giant dominoes called bookcases.
