THE TRAINER
Full Name: Prue Eveque
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 24
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 158 lbs
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: None (Constantly traveling. Her hometown is Kanto's Cerulean City)
Franchise: Pokemon (Main Series based trainer)
Physical Description
There isn't anything too extraordinary about Prue. She has somewhat dark short brown hair. Her eyes are hazel and will sometimes change shades and colors depending on her mood. Her bangs are thin and are quite a bit longer than her hair. She has them died hot pink and they taper a bit. The tips hang just past her collar bones and cup her face in just the right way to fall roughly parallel with the outer edges of her eyes.
She favors short-sleeved vests, pants, and shoes that are easy to walk in. Her most common and favorite outfit consists of a tight sleeveless light pink shirt, a short sleeved silver vest with vivid pink borders, pink pants, and pink and silver slip on shoes. She doesn't wear socks. Hanging around her neck in any outfit she wears is her PokeGear, which is very light silver with sakura pink accents. She has all the standard card additions. She also has a large pink bag with various silver accents. It is kept closed with a slip and twist thing near the bottom with the center being a pokeball shape and a silver metal part sticking out from either side.
Prue prefers to keep her team of six Pokemon on a belt, and her belt is pink. From her back left to her back right is a miniature (smaller than many common keychains) Dusk ball, Great Ball, Pokeball, two Great Balls, and a Pokeball. The tops are completely opaque, but this changes when she expands them and her belt is made so that they could hang expanded. When expanded, the tops are semi-transparent and the Pokemon inside are completely active and aware.
Weapons
None, and she's pretty useless in a normal fight. The extent of her skills pretty much consists of chucking things at people. She does have a variety of Pokemon Trainer paraphernalia, but without a place to restock she would run out eventually. Of note of her supplies are a fold up bicycle, a heart shaped box full of "fashion" accessories for Pokemon, a box of ribbons, various mass produced pokeballs and some old fashioned custom ones, two badge cases, and miscellaneous healing items.
The entire mess is quite unorganized. Her most important supplies (a few healing items and some Ultra Balls) are in a side pouch for easy access. She's well known for having to dump her entire bag out to find a single item.
Abilities/Powers
Nothing worth note. All her "abilities" are actually skills.
Skills
She's a rather good Pokemon trainer and a somewhat phenomenal Cute Contest Coordinator. Her skills are decent in Beauty and Smart, but rather short in Cool and you shouldn't let her within a mile of Tough contests. This is all assuming the main game version of Contests. In the anime world, she would probably be rather good and her Pokemon would likely focus on cuteness or elegance.
To give a more clear depiction of her abilities, Prue has all eight badges from the four major regions of the world (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh). She is certified to participate (and has done so) in the region-wide tournaments of all of those but Johto. She has never made it to any of the "places" of the tournaments, though. She has more Cute Contest Master Rank ribbons than is healthy, she has some Beauty and Smart ribbons, a few Cool ribbons, and one Normal Rank Tough Ribbon.
When she gets really excited, she has this "skill" to be able to squee at extremely high pitched levels. It basically amounts to literally screeching with joy. Its not quite outside normal human hearing but those with sensitive ears and many animals/Pokemon are in pain by the pitch.
She has various other abilities that aren't really worth note. She can ride a bike, she has decent but not great stamina, and other such talents.
Personality
Prue rivals a five year old high on sugar for her common energy levels. She wears her emotions on her proverbial cuff and is often more emotional than would be considered normal. She's a trainer for the fun, friendships, and travel. She's not really in it for the battles, but she does enjoy it and the feelings of accomplishment it can bring. She does tend to favor Contests a bit to the battles, but she doesn't often realize it, and both battling and contests take a backseat to the adventure.
She's rather nice and hates it when she thinks she has hurt a person's feelings. She hates it when people use Pokemon instead of treating them as equals. She doesn't like people who rub it in others' faces when they win, although she'll sometimes do so unconsciously and feel bad about it when she realizes it. She is more than a bit of a hyperactive spazz and when she gets going she is really hard to calm down, but she is able to do what needs to be done with the crap hits the fan. She is not unknown for distressing after a major event by collapsing into a living puddle of tears. She is trusting and often works at seeing the best in people, occasionally causing her to be a bit gullible.
If one were to use three words to describe her, the best ones would be: cheerful, hyperactive, and scatterbrained.
History
Prue was born in Cerulean City and unlike most of her peers wasn't a trainer. Her mother dabbled in it a bit but her father didn't have much interest, and while Prue knew some Pokemon had a slight fear of leaving home and of Pokemon in general due to experiences with Beedrill when she was about nine. She left home when she was twelve after an interesting encounter lead to her, Bill, and Misty rescuing a young Squirtle. She has traveled to all the major regions at least once, and has spent some time in regions like Orre, Fiore, and Almia. She knows about all the gangs or "Teams" that have made the news and has had encounters with most of them. She has not, however, contributed significantly to bringing any of them to a stop.
She has competed in the Leagues and tournaments of all the regions. She has earned the right to participate in the region tournaments of three of the regions (one year in Kanto, one year in Hoenn, two years in Sinnoh) and has all eight badges from each of those regions. The Contest system of her world is a fair bit less organized than the leagues, but she jumped into them as soon as she learned about them and it was in Sinnoh she became known thanks to her Pachirisu. She also has a few accomplishments in the Hoenn and Sinnoh Frontiers, some of them being in Johto after the Sinnoh one relocated.
She was actually on her way to the Elite Four to earn her certification to participate in the Johto region tournament when she got brought to the Island. She was making her way through Victory Road when she heard a scream something like glass breaking and the ground simply vanished from underneath her, bringing her to Dimension Island where she'd meet someone from a world similar to but not quite her own.
Other
Prue is terrified of bees and nervous of anything that resembles them. In terms of Pokemon this means she has a phobia of Beedrill, frightened of Vespiquen and Weedle, nervous around Combee, and strongly dislikes Kakuna.
She is from a generic game-based world. She knows of people like Red and has seen them on television a few times but she isn't really that knowledgeable of them.
THE POKEMON (FOR STATISTICAL INFO, SEE AN ONLINE POKEDEX)
- Sora the Pachirisu -
Height: 1'3"
Weight: 8 lbs.
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Spark, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Sweet Kiss
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Thunderbolt, Return, Double Team, Fling, Flash, Cut, Thunderpunch
Skills
Sora can find the darnedest things on the ground. From shiny bottles to precious gems, if it catches her eyes you can bet she'll pick it up. This is the way her "Pick Up" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Cute. She walks, speaks, and even falls down cute. A handful because she doesn't seem to catch how dangerous the world can really be. She would jump in a lake even though she can't swim, not aware she could drown. It isn't out of stupidity, but out of total naivete of how the world works. Oddly, this behavior makes her more resourceful than she might otherwise be. She can come up with the craziest solutions to a problem but also the craziest ways to get into a bind. She is super social and the friendliest of Prue's entire team. Comparable to Kasumi/Misty's Togepi from the anime in her ability to inadvertently find trouble.
Capture History
Prue obtained Sora around the Valley Windworks in Sinnoh. If she ever meets Dawn and compare stories, they'll probably freak. Prue had seen a Pachirisu even before she came to Sinnoh (while she was making the preparations to leave Hoenn) and decided then and there it was the cutest thing she had ever seen and wanted one. Prue found out where they tended to gather in Sinnoh and spent an entire day there. It was around dinner time and she was eating when she heard some rustling int he bushes. She looked in time to have a Pachirisu land on her face. Some hilarity and a few chaotic chase scenes later, Prue managed to catch the little Pachi and she quickly became her main Pokemon.
Other
Sora will almost never use the "-risu" part of her name, but it makes her no less understandable. This oddity grew out of the fact that Prue almost never calls the species Pachirisu, instead preferring "Pachi" or "Pachis".
- Loki the Dewgong -
Height: 5'09" (tail to horn)
Weight: 270 lbs
Gender: Male
Favored Attacks
Avalanche, Headbutt, Rest, Rain Dance
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Avalanche, Rain Dance, Surf, Double Team, Brine, Whirlpool, Waterfall, Dive
Skills
Loki loves the rain. He gets more mischievous in it, he gets more wired, and it seem to just wash away any ill feelings he's having. If he's upset, he'll often make it rain. Whether its purely psychological, purely physical, or some combination thereof, any illnesses he has wash away with the rain. This is how his "Hydration" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Loki has an odd conflict of personality traits. He's strong and likes to be appreciated for his strength, but he's actually rather shy. Due to being raised by Prue, this has lead to some ability to be adorable in his shyness. He has quite literally knocked over expensive breakable objects only to get shy about it and get forgiven. Overall he's got a shy personality but if he's given the opportunity to show off his power, he'll sometimes come across as an entirely different Pokemon. He can sometimes be hard to get calmed down when he gets going, but he'd never hurt someone intentionally. He'd feel terrible about it and turn into a total sweetheart if he did.
Capture History
Prue caught Loki when he was still a Seel. She'd heard about the Safari Zone opening in Johto after she'd spent some time there. She remembered it closing down in Kanto twice and so was excited about the apparent changes that had been made as well as the new management. She managed to fall off a cliff on the way there and get separated from her Pokemon due to a series of chaotic events. She was rescued by a wild Seel and actually spent the next few days seeing him hide and such. With some help from her Pokemon (which she had to find) she managed to get the Seel cornered and capture him with a Great Ball.
Other
Loki has a tall ring around the base of his tail. It is a folding bracelet made out of a stone that seems clammy to the touch and has a light blue color. The "hinge" piece is made out of silver as is the connecting part on the inside that latches it in place. The outer part is inscribed in the Unown letters for Loki (two letters on either side) and was custom made for the Dewgong. It is made out of a Damp Rock and seems to effect the environment, allowing any rain summoned by Loki to last longer.
- Zelda the Gardevoir -
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 106.5 lbs
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Psychic, Calm Mind, Imprison, Teleport
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Safeguard, Energy Ball, Psych Up, Heal Bell
Skills
Zelda has a slightly magnified version of the empathy possessed by her species. She fights to control this, but every once in a while a strong emotion will cause her to act on it against her will. If she is fighting an extremely violent opponent, she might become extremely violent and stop listening to Prue.
Zelda can randomly take a single ability of the opponent and use it as her own. This can prove both very useful and very disastrous as the skill taken is random. This is the way her "Trace" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Zelda has a regal and proper air about her and acts very much the lady. She doesn't like nonsense which means hanging around with Prue and the other members of her team is a bit annoying at times. She has a tendency to hold back in a fight unless Prue is in real danger or she is acting on the violent emotions of a nearby person. She is immensely loyal to Prue despite the woman having lost her on many occasions. Part of the reason Zelda trusts her so implicitly is the effort Prue puts into finding her. She adores Sora and will sometimes act the mother hen to try to protect the little Pachi.
Capture History
Zelda actually found Prue more than Prue found her. Prue was fairly new to Hoenn with less than six Pokemon on her team, the most prominent of which being her Torchic. She was actually enjoying the place as it was more lush than either Kanto or Johto. A series of events lead to her getting depressed, and rather than running away the then Ralts decided she wanted to go out and cheer the girl up so the positive emotions could return. Prue was surprised at running into what she had heard was a very rare Pokemon and the capture actually went off without much of a hitch, connected to Prue's excitement at seeing such a rare Pokemon.
Other
On a white leather cord around Zelda's neck hangs a pink triangle with the point facing upwards. This allows her psychic attacks to be stronger than they would otherwise be. It is a carved version of an item known as a "Mind Plate".
Zelda has a love-hate relationship with Chao, the Mismagius on Prue's team. She claims she would like nothing more than to see the ghost put in a storage box, but in reality is quite bored and lonely when Chao isn't around.
- Chao the Mismagius -
Height: 3"
Weight: 9.8 lbs
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Astonish, Mean Look, Confuse Ray, Snatch
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Ominous Wind, Sucker Punch, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Dark Pulse, Thunder Wave, Snatch
Skills
Sneaking around. Chao is remarkably good at sneaking up on people, a skill she uses to her advantage in pulling pranks.
Chao floats around like any good ghost and any move that effects only the ground won't effect her. However, she is no more likely to get hit by lightning than anyone else, a factor that can not be claimed by many flying creatures. This is how her "Levitate" ability expresses herself.
Personality
Chao is quite intentionally a walking disaster area and a ticking time bomb of Chaos. She loves pulling pranks, her favorite being sneaking up behind Prue and scaring the daylights out of her. Prue isn't the most aware of her surroundings so this is easy and gives Chao no end of glee. She isn't truly mean, but she does have a misplaced sense of humor. She is nowhere near above ignoring Prue but has a good enough head on her shoulders to turn a situation around or just plain win the fight. She isn't one for a straight out fight, preferring instead to pull dirty tricks. She would never break the rules, but you'd be amazed at how well she can bend them.
Capture History
Prue actually had interest in Misdreavus since she first visited Johto. However, the only area she heard you could catch them was off limits to those who had not received the right to participate in both the Kanto and Johto based tournaments. She had actually not entered the Hall of Fame of either region, she she had to go empty handed. However, she heard about them showing up on occasion in Hoenn after she arrived there, and bought several Dusk Balls just for that purpose. She met Chao after accidentally summoning a Spiritomb, and the little Misdreavus managed to freak out the Spiritomb. This lead to a series of pranks and harassment from the Pokemon to Prue, and she eventually caught her.
- Skeletor the Cubone -
Height: 1'02"
Weight: 13.3 lbs
Gender: male
Favored Attacks
Growl, Endure, Toxic, Protect
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Toxic, Protect, Endure, Sunny Day, Rock Smash, Knock Off, Endeavor
Skills
You could drop Skeletor from 100 feet up and he'd only be knocked a little loopy. This Pokemon is made of tough and won't back down easily. Very stubborn and seemingly incapable of hurting himself. He would be immune to kickback from attacks if he was willing to use any attacks that had it. This is how his "Rock Head" ability manifests.
Personality
Skeletor is cautious and unbelievably insecure. He lives by the "insertthing here has never killed anyone, but why take any chances" motto. He is timid, shy, and can not be left alone. He will chase after Prue ifs he attempts to leave him by himself. Not that great of a battler unless he feels losing will prevent him from getting back to Prue, he favors defense and support. He is easy to surprise and is known for throwing temper tantrums when upset. How he survived in the wild long enough for Prue to catch him is a mystery.
Capture History
Prue caught Skeletor during her second trip through Kanto. It was during a series of events when Team Rocket tried to use the Kanto radio tower and kicked up all the old spirits. In fact, some of them had been irritated by the first attempt of Team Rocket. While after the fact Prue heard rumors that a man had handled the situation, she was more concerned with getting cornered by some Team Rocket members. There was a lot of chaos in the situation, and at one point a wild Cubone pretty much attached itself to her. It didn't want to be caught, but Prue nearly getting herself killed at one point convinced it otherwise. She was freed from the tower after the situation was resolved, with Skeletor as a member of her team.
Other
Skeletor despises contests due to Prue's failed attempts at entering him in Tough Contests. He has an almost child-parent attachment to Prue's Houndoom, Akuma, and it is only if Prue leaves Skeletor and Akuma together that she even has a chance of leaving him "alone".
Skeletor has a flame patterned scarf tied around his left upper arm. The scarf can absorb a surprise blow that would knock Skeletor out if he is in top shape. its actually a "Focus Sash" and functions exactly like one.
- Akuma the Houndoom -
Height: 4'8" (at top of horns)
Weight: 80 lbs (all muscle)
Gender: Male
Favored Attacks
Crunch, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Facade
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)[/b]
Facade, Shadow Ball, Torment, Headbutt
Skills
Fire attacks are useless against Akuma. Of any type. In fact, they are the opposite of useful. Every lick of flame that hits Akuma makes his fire attacks that much stronger. This is how his "Flash Fire" ability expresses itself. Interestingly, it also has the added effect of increasing his rage and can eventually send him into a berserker rage. It is very hard to calm him down when he is like this. He generally has more control than he lets on when he is like this and would not kill unless it was the only option. As always, if the opponent shows total submission he will back off on the attack.
Personality
Akuma is pretty vicious and not well trained. He doesn't take orders well, particularly if they are along the lines of cease attacking. He won't kill unless he feels it truly necessary but will injure to make sure the opponent won't challenge him again. He's excellent in battle... just of his own will rather than Prue's. Because of his autonomy, he is excellent in double battles (although he will often not pay attention to his team mate). He works extremely well with Skeletor, who uses his moves to beef Akuma up. His total willingness to "lay the smack down" on others means Chao won't harass him. He is highly aggressive and hard to control - the main reason Prue keeps him on her team is for Skeletor.
Capture History
Prue traded for Akuma when he was still a Houndour. She traded a Butterfree for him. The owner seemed to want to get rid of the Pokemon and Prue had some limited experience with them from before the League rules changed and she pretty much had to start from scratch with her team. She didn't know the meaning of his name, but she would find out it was poetic later. He's never listened to her all that well.
Other
Akuma views himself as a protector to Skeletor and takes a very firm guardian position over the little Cubone. Skeletor has no problem with this and it is quite possible Akuma is the only one he trusts more than Prue. It is only around Skeletor Akuma shows his ability to be soft-hearted.
Akuma has a yellow rock around his left horn that vaguely resembles a crown. The power from this rock means he can occasionally disorientate an opponent so at the very least they have trouble attacking. Commonly it makes them jerk so hard they can't attack. In actuality this is the item "King's Rock".
Other (All of Prue's Pokemon)
For some reason, the magic of the island does not allow Prue's Pokemon to speak normally. Instead they say their name like always. Animals, other Pokemon, and those that can speak with animals can understand the Pokemon.
Prue's Pokemon can use all of their attacks in any non-league sanctioned fight. However, they each have preferred moves, and Prue has to remember the attack to be able to order it. None of her Pokemon were hatched, so they know no egg moves.
