Hey, anyone know the specific rules on child pornography laws?

Okay, I've got this Japanese game. It is not available in the states except on import, but there's been no import bans on it. Its a Japanese yaoi hentai game, if you need more info I suggest you research "Kichiku Megane". Anyhow, one of the good ending routes deals with a boy in his second year of high school. Assuming both the Japanese and American standard high school systems, he is probably 16 or 17 depending on his birth date. I consider him sixteen, but his actual age is never given.
Could I make an American English fansite for the game without getting into massive legal trouble? It would be a fairly explicit site, complete with screen captures (commonly called CGs. Highly detailed drawings that accompany visual novles) of scenes. Being a Japanese game and regarding Japan's odd censorship laws, the groin area is always blurred out. I've seen games without the blurring (it is often uncensored when games are localized to America) and honestly I prefer the blurring. Not the point.
Can I make a site where one of the characters is sixteen without having child pornography law peoples carting me off to jail? I'm thinking yes as 16 is the age of consent in America to my knowledge. But I wanted to get others opinions. Thanks! >___>
