Physical Description: Ms. Dopple’s true form is rather different from the human forms she tends to take. It almost resembles a skeleton, with a large ribcage-like structure for the chest, and an exposed spine. Her face has large empty eyes and a several fanged mouth. It’s topped with some rather untidy long blond hair. She doesn’t truly have fingers, but she does have long red claws that act just as well as fingers. Where each of her joints are small red balls that act just as well as joints. She doesn’t have bones in the traditional sense; instead, she has a form of cartilage that easily morphs into humanoid limbs and body shapes.
Due to her abilities, Ms. Dopple’s form tends to vary wildly, but she has a form she tends to return to often. The form is that of a rather attractive woman around her early thirties. The woman has long blond hair that goes down to the middle of her back and silvery eyes. Her clothing is meant to not stand out much: a red undershirt with a longsleeved white v-necked shirt over it, as well as a pair of brown slacks and white dress shoes. She always has a bored expression on her face in this form, even when she’s smiling she seems bored.
Weapons: Ms. Dopple carries no weapons on her, but she can form one out of her own body should the need come.
Abilities/Powers: Ms. Dopple’s power is one shared across her entire species. She has the ability to take the form of any human she sees. Should she have a sample of their DNA, she can do a more complete morph. Ms. Dopple’s morphing abilities are considered some of the best among her species, and she has enough control over her form that she can even keep her form in situations where normal doppelgangers would be completely unable to do so.
Skills: Ms. Dopple has several minor skills due to the many forms she’s had to take over time, and listing them out here would be an exercise in futility.
Personality: Ms. Dopple has several fake personalities she’ll put on for whatever situation, and really, it’s hard to tell what she’s truly thinking. Most of what she does is for her own amusement, and she can adjust herself easily to fit with that. She really doesn’t care about other people, and is liable to turn on you in a fight if she feels that the situation’s changed enough to warrant that. She always does her own thing, and makes few allies. One thing she does enjoy doing is screwing with people’s heads, which makes her a tad sadistic, if you want to look at it that way.
History: Ms. Dopple’s one of the oldest Doppelgangers, and existed before there was really any organization for them. She refused entry into the doppelganger organization that was created, and continued to exist on her own. At times she encountered a doppelganger that went by the name of Mr. Copycat and played with him a few times. It turned out that he had been sent to observe her and Ms. Dopple ended up being classified as “defective” by the organization because of that. Now, Ms. Dopple had a twin sister who had joined this loose-knit group of doppelgangers, named Ms. Mirror. Because the organization did not really care for “defective” doppelgangers, Ms. Mirror pleaded with Ms. Dopple to do something about these rebellious thoughts, but Ms. Dopple didn’t care.
Ms. Dopple eventually started spending her time in several universes, getting herself mixed up in conflicts on Earth?, the Internet, Fanfiction, Earth 616… just about any universe you could think of. If you can think of it, she’s probably visited it at least once.
Eventually, Ms. Dopple met up with one of the many, many devils in the multiverse, who went by the name of Try Pano Phobia. Ms. Dopple actually (le gasp!) made a friend in this devil, and eventually, the two of them decided to collaborate on a project of Try’s, which involved a middle school in another universe. Ms. Dopple became the school’s front desk secretary, and Try became its School Nurse. The project involved the School Nurse taking over the school via a virus she would administer to any student or staff that came to her office. However, something unexpected happened. A data being from the Internet who had achieved interdimensional travel fused with a student during a power outage, and said student (now calling herself “Digital Ninja”) managed to beat the crap out of both Ms. Dopple and the School Nurse. Defeated, the two of them returned to the Dimensional Island to nurse their wounds.
Since coming back, they haven’t really done much together. Ms. Dopple has gone back to doing her own thing, and spends most of her time either causing chaos, hounding heroes, or hounding Mr. Copycat, who she’s heard is just as defective as she is now because he “fell in love” and had a half-doppelganger kid.
