"...right then. My bad, William. I'll... be more careful in the future." Needless to say, the other teen's response was surprising. It had caught the half ghost off guard, that's for sure. On the one hand, the other teen HAD just seen the last of his people killed before his eyes. And it had partially been Daniel's fault for not agreeing to serve Belphegor. So, he supposed William's response was to be expected. He supposed.
He took only a moment more to ponder, quickly flying after William.

William said nothing else as they closed the distance between the woods and the outskirts of Void City. For all his posturing, that presence had set him on a rather thin edge. He'd told Danny to be careful and not panic, but here he was doing the latter. He tsked silently to himself and looked rather annoyed.
He dropped to the ground once they reached the outskirts. He did so a bit carefully, still not totally used to flying from that height. He kept his intangible form, however. There really was no need to draw upon the power of his pendant. It wasn't like that form was fully opaque, anyhow - At least this way the average human wouldn't even know he was there.
