William had never been so grateful for silence in his entire unlife. He was still shaky, but what would normally be an inability to push himself up was over-ridden by concern over his charges. He wasn't even quite sure what had happened. He managed to turn, still on one knee but due to a lack of strength this time. Turn in time to see that attack he knew so well... destroy the two ghosts with a burst of holy light. The Mahamaon attack had wiped...
While this was occuring, Danny had launched himself at Belphegor. Mahamaon was actually one of the harder spells for Belphegor to cast. After all, it was a holy light based spell coming from a demon in every sense of the word. So he couldn't dodge. Especially considering he hadn't quite expected the boy to be able to quickly attack after exerting so much energy. The lesson was learned with a rather hard neon green glowing punch to the jaw. He took a step back and held up his hand to his chin. Well, that hadn't hurt much, but considering the demon wasn't used to being put in pain by ghosts, the psychological effects made hit hurt more.
William stared blankly for a few moments before getting to his feet. He had nothing left. The ghosts left in the castle were all former servants of the man who had wrecked his life in life, and ripped him apart with dimensional distortions at their death. He looked at his sword and picked it up, allowing the power of the pendant to make him mostly tangible. The sword reacted in its usual manner, and solidified to full physical functionality.
The way he attacked was reckless. It was a do or die launch. The words spoking were merely an enraged scream. Belphegor turned his head and swatted the teen away. It was like he was bored, or didn't even care. If Danny was going to get the teen away, now was the time. The damage to the wall had revealed they could leave the area. It showed the forest outside, the tall buildings of Void City in the distance. William hit the wall hard, losing his tangibility as he fell limp. He was "alive", but didn't seem in the best of states. Somehow, despite not moving, he still had his hand firmly gripped around his sword...
