So, as it turns out, contrary to what I previously believed, my school staff's pretty bad at... school... staff-ing. Anyway, on to the subject at hand. I have to go to summer school, which honestly doesn't completely surprise me, I mean, I missed multiple days and some important shit in English, of course I have to-
Wait, I have to go for Physical Science? That makes no sense, I had a solid B average in PS, and unless a 'B' = 'Bfail'...
Furthermore, my school is required to call every student that has to go to summer school to the 'little theater'. Therein, they tell them they have to go, explain the schedule, etc etc. My name was not called. So when mom goes to pick up my report card today, they're all like 'oh by the way it's next Monday'.
Speaking of the report card, she was unable to get it, because I apparently owe $137 for a... photograph and a science book? Problem is, I gave said photographs to my English teacher and asked him to turn them in for me, and, as my mother can attest, I took my science book Thursday. The only problem is, mother couldn't CHECK to see if I'd turned it in, because the lady sent her to the WRONG SCIENCE CLASS.
This means that while they insist that I have to go to summer school, I can't CHECK because they won't give me my marks. Furthermore? There are exactly 3 people, counting myself, in my school, with this same name. We're talking same first and last, and same middle initial. The secretary wouldn't check to see if they POSSIBLY put the fees on the wrong Richard, and were POSSIBLY going to issue me the incorrect card.
Speaking of the secretary, she more or less told my mother to screw herself. When mother mentioned her poor etiquette, she said something to the effect of "Talk to your son about his etiquette, he's the one who failed."
Seriously? Your job is to help parents and students have an easier learning experience, not ignore them altogether.
Gorrammit.
