Yuugi nodded and quickly took the glasses from Souji. It was a rare case of him not saying a word or even looking sorry. He was far more focused on getting the glasses on Atem's face. It was almost comical to anyone observing them, as the former Pharaoh tried to block his face. Yuugi literally smacked his hand away and shoved them on with a bit much in the way of force.
Atem opened his mouth to say something to Yuugi. It was clear by his expression it wasn't going to be nice. However, there was a moment of hesitation as the headache all but left and his vision became about as sharp as the heavy fog allowed, even with the glasses. And then he was feeling Jounouchi grabbing his collar and yanking him up.
“Yuugi, was that necessary...?” Anzu stated. She'd been at Jounouchi's side as they were running over, but she'd seen the short teenager smack Atem. That seemed horribly out of character to her.
“He's fine,” Atem stated. He seemed a bit more focused on Adachi, having glanced for only a brief second at Souji, “Souji-kun, can you manage without the glasses?”
“It is not fine! Yuugi...”
“Anzu, let them be. It's a man's world,” Jounouchi didn't sound convinced, though. That... had been rather out of character. Anzu hadn't seen Yuugi's expression then, either. It had seemed a little harsh for a little fight between friends. Especially from Yuugi, who tended not to handle interpersonal conflicts well.
The computer remained quiet, seeming to wait for the group's decision on what to do next.

As emotionless as ever. Well, it was just a speaking program, after all.

Kanji blinked as Yuugi smacked Atem's hand. That was a bit of an odd behavior, but he guessed that kid was really freaking out over Atem.
"I'm fine. I can see without them, remember?" Souji said. The fog still impeded him a bit, but he saw better in it without the glasses than anyone else did without glasses, except for maybe Teddie, but that was because Teddie was an actual Shadow.
"Not to interrupt, but the laptop relayed a message earlier about a signpost. It's written in hieroglyphs, and only Atem can translate it, though Yuugi, Souji, Minato, and myself could give an honest attempt at it," Naoto said. From the blank stares she supposed Atem hadn't been the only one who had missed that part of the message.
-------------
Uzume gave a chuckle as the computer continued speaking. It seemed it was trying to apply logic to her decision to stay behind. Well, she could play that game. She needed a bit of entertainment, after all.
"Don't you know my sexy body is enough to charm even gods?" Uzume teased. She placed a hand on her breasts. "I could give a demonstration, if you so wish, Computer-san..."

(OOC: Done with full approval. Yes, very god modey. Yes, done with approval. OKAY.)
Atem frowned and nodded. As long as Adachi could see without bringing his Persona out, he would let it slide. He was still bothered by the comments of the beggar. In terms of the way this 'game' was set up, the Game Master had all the answers. They were playing themselves. Which meant that there was something to be concerned about with Adachi's Persona, even more than he had suspected before.
The group looked up towards Naoto as she spoke. Atem walked away from the group and came up to what Naoto had called a signpost. It may have been once upon a time, but it was somewhat concealed in the sand. Atem made a funny expression at the symbols but shook his head. He looked up towards the group.
“This is entirely unrealistic, but the sign appears to say this is a judging ground,” his expression darkened, “Given the context, I think Bakura's Shadow is waiting for punishment here.”
As those things were being read off, Adachi and Souji would hear something in their heads. Or to be more precise, the voice of the computer. It was as if the GM had pulled them aside to tell them something without the problem of the players being able to tell due to outside action. Yuugi and Atem also heard something in their heads.
Yuugi's eyes widen and he jerks his head towards the Pendant. Atem tenses up and looks around, his eyes seeming unable to settle on Souji or Adachi. He settles on Adachi, but the observant of the group would be able to tell it was from a guess...

Souji frowned as Atem read off what was on the sign. A judging ground? Things like that never boded well, and considering where they were right now, it was just more proof that they needed to hurry and find Bakura.
The sound of the computer beginning to read numbers off again made Naoto jump. She turned toward the screen as the numbers continued to roll off. The first thing that seemed off to her was Adachi's roll. Due to the +5 bonus, it was a 25. An automatic success. The second thing was that it had rolled without them making an active decision on anything.
Adachi had gone very pale. He could feel something. That computer's voice had been right, he could feel it. He wasn't sure what he was feeling, but he could feel something horribly dark swirling around everyone. And the center of it, the source of it, was him. There was something inside of him trying to get out, and he didn't know what. The worst part was, he couldn't hold it back....
Adachi wasn't the only one who had gotten a message no one else had. Souji's eyes had widened, and he was staring right at Adachi. Adachi was feeling something trying to get out of him. Souji was feeling something like a part of him acting up. And the source of that feeling was the pale, panicked man grasping his head with both hands.
"Adachi, what the hell's going..." Souji started, but he realized what had to be wrong just as the computer finished reading off that last statement.
"Souji-sempai, get away from him!" Naoto yelled as dark energy exploded out from around Adachi. Adachi's hands dropped from his head and fell limp by his sides. One hand grabbed his handgun, and before Souji could get a good distance away from him, pulled the trigger.
"Souji!" Minato yelled as the bullet lodged itself in Souji's shoulder, in a spot the direct mirror of where Adachi had been shot that morning. Souji fell back onto the sand, and he seemed to be bleeding fairly badly.
"Adachi, you bastard!" Kanji yelled as he rushed at Adachi. Before Kanji's fist could connect, Adachi dodged out of the way and grabbed Kanji's arm, holding him in place for a moment, long enough for Kanji to get a good hard look at Adachi's now glowing yellow eyes before Adachi roundhouse kicked him, sending the teenager flying. The way Adachi had tied his shoes that morning meant that a loose hanging lace had left a small scratch under Kanji's eye.
Adachi gave a chuckle. His voice was distorted much like a Shadow's. He looked toward Souji and smirked. "...Hurts, doesn't it? You... worthless little Shadow."
Souji winced and tried to sit up. "This isn't funny... Magatsu Izanagi..."
---------------------
Uzume twitched as the computer read off the last roll and then the description of what happened.
"What?! What do you mean, I had to sleep on the streets!? This is outrageous!" Uzume yelled. She glared at the laptop and kicked it. "Stupid machine."

The computer continued on despite the chaos. And it was chaos. Atem had noticed Yuugi's reaction half a second later than his own. Something godlike was active in the area. He wasn't bothering to guess why he could feel it. It was dark, Yuugi's reaction towards the Pendant was sign enough of that. He was shouting at Jounouchi as he was running towards Yuugi.
“Jounouchi-kun, get Anzu down!”
The blond was already headed there, having moved towards her as soon as Atem began running. Some part of him had known which of their group Atem would go after. Well, hadn't the former Pharaoh been protecting Yuugi for the past year? About this time was when Naoto was shouting at Souji to get down. Atem had in a near supernatural burst of speed reached Yuugi just as “Adachi” fired his bullet at Souji.
Jounouchi had reached Anzu first, due to distance. About the time the startled Yuugi's back had hit the ground, Anzu was lifting her face up from the sand and spitting some of it out. She wasn't even aware of everything going on in the situation yet. She all but threw Jounouchi off and looked towards where Atem was pretty much using his body as a shield if anything came near Yuugi.
“Yuugi!”
...of course, this all meant that everyone's actions had been completely thrown off the chart for order.
As soon as the people facing “penalties” were listed, the four of them vanished from the scene. Their figures vanished from the game board, as well...
----------
The transfer of scenery was as sudden and jarring as the first one had been. Anzu found herself tripping over her own legs, and only years of practicing dance prevented her from faceplanting. She hadn't even heard the computer voice. As she managed to not fall, her hand flew out and hit a wall, which was carved in various symbols. She gasped and jerked her hand back as she tried to get a grasp on her surroundings.
The area she was at appeared to be underground. There were shafts of light here and there, just enough to see by. She noticed something just under a tall pillar. She couldn't tell if they were stuck or not, but she could make out the face.
“Tatsumi-san!”
----------
“What the hell, you stupid computer! Hey!”
Jounouchi had recovered fairly well. His bottom was a bit sore from the landing, but overall he was good. His main concern at the moment was the area he was in was far too dark. He couldn't see much beyond his hand when he stuck it in his face.
“Yuugi? Anzu? Atem-kun? Hey, am I alone here!?”
Jounouchi paled.
----------
Atem stumbled from the change in scenery. He was grateful now that Yuugi had forced the glasses back on him, he wasn't sure he would have been able to do anything if he'd been in the same condition he'd been before. He was still a bit tired, and traces of a dull ache remained in his temple, but he was functional. Enough so that he was quickly able to gather in his surroundings.
They were in remarkably good condition given how run down the area had looked from outside. As if someone was constantly maintaining them. He noted that the pseudo-hieroglyphics from before were all over the place. A few quick scans and he could tell this was a place of ritual. He didn't read much beyond that. His eyes were drawn to the perfect pool of light in the center of the room. His eyes widened.
“Bakura...”
As Atem had muttered in surprise, Bakura was there. In a normal outfit, so it wasn't his Shadow. He looked unconscious, but Atem was able to note the teenager was breathing. The light surrounding him was enough so that it just covered his body. It came from a hole in the ceiling, and as Atem looked up towards it he could see the beginnings of rainclouds. His eyes followed back down to the ground, and he berated himself for a detail he missed before. There were weights attached to Bakura's ankles.
Beneath the white haired teenager's still form was a rather precisely carved area of floor. No, not carved. It was designed to open like a set of doors. Atem noted something underneath the teenager. The one properly used hieroglyphic he'd seen in the whole place, and the word bothered him. Properly read, it said Ma'at. True cosmic justice. Unsure and not caring how Bakura knew of such a term, Atem began taking several quick steps towards the teenager's body. However, he seemed to realize something and stopped a solid ten feet back from the center of the floor.
“You're here, aren't you?”
Shadow Bakura seemed to step out of the shadows in the room themselves. His eyes were still mostly concealed by his bangs, even though his head was held up. Atem could just see the edges of the eerie yellow eyes. He looked as depressed as ever. He came up beside Bakura and crouched down. He turned towards Atem after looking at Bakura for a moment.
“He claimed to accept me. But if he doesn't die, how can I trust it?”
----------
The laptop offered no resistance to Uzume's freakout. As a result, it flew off the table, hit the ground, and shattered. This was followed by Uzume vanishing from the bedroom like place. She would find herself now in a rather dark underground area. In front of her by about five feet was a Shadow mass consisting of three Lustful Snakes. About three feet ahead of that was Jounouchi. The teenager clearly couldn't see very well, but he looked like he'd frozen up by the sound of the snakes behind him...
Only Uzume would hear it.

(OOC: Minor retcon in regards to Naoto's Persona here.)
Magatsu Izanagi smirked as the computer read the order out. It was still considering himself and Adachi as two separate "players" despite the fact that Adachi was out of commission. He glanced back at the others on the field, or rather, didn't, as the people he'd looked back at were all ones who disappeared a moment later because they had acted out of turn.
Naoto was glaring at Magatsu Izanagi. She wasn't sure how the Persona had become sentient like this, or why it seemed to have such a grudge against Souji. They could figure that out later when Souji was safe. With Kanji, Anzu, Jounouchi, and Atem gone, Naoto was the next to move. As it was, there wasn't much she could do with Magatsu Izanagi and Souji in their current positions. With that in mind, she pulled out her revolver and pointed it at the shining blue card that had materialized in front of her, pulling the trigger and shooting the card, shattering it and summoning Yamato-Takeru.
"Dammit! Fine!" Minato yelled. He pulled out his own Persona card and crushed it, summoning Messiah.
"Bringing out all of the stops to fight me, I see," Magatsu Izanagi chided. Souji wasn't moving from the spot he was in on the ground. He didn't know where the others had been taken after the game punished them for acting out of turn. It was possible wherever they were now was worse than this current situation.
-------------------
Kanji gave a groan as he heard Anzu's voice. He sat up and looked over at her.
"Anzu?" Kanji asked. "Augh, my head... What the hell happened to Adachi?"
--------------------
Uzume groaned as she found herself in a new place. A new, very dark place that she could sense Shadows in. And that stupid blonde had himself trapped by a bunch of snakes. Uzume facepalmed as she stepped forward, her body glowing with light.
"Sexy Dance!" At that moment, Uzume's robes practically flew off her body, revealing her naked body underneath, and moved rhythmically. A wave of energy flowed around the Shadows attacking Jounouchi as she danced. Once the spell was done casting, Uzume's clothes replaced themselves on her body. She crossed her arms and glared at Jounouchi.
"You're useless, you know that?" Uzume asked. She looked toward one Snake that seemed to be shaking off the affects of her Sexy Dance, and pointed one of her fans at it. "Hama!"
Several glowing white spell tags attached themselves to the Shadow's body, glowing even stronger as their light penetrated it, eventually causing the shadow to dissolve.

“Atem!”
Really, that was the first place Yuugi had gone. That the former Pharaoh had been protecting him, and then had vanished. The computer had said it was because he had acted out of turn. He was struggling to his feet when he heard the computer read off the turn order. He had to follow that? Even now, he had to follow that?
His “turn” came quickly enough. It was probably good it had come when it did. The computer seemed aware of what Minato's pose meant. It was a good thing, because at this point Yuugi was crushing Nefertum's card without waiting any longer. He couldn't directly attack. For one, Magatsu Izanagi was using Adachi's body. Two, this was Yuugi. He didn't run around attacking people. But he could at least help.
“Nefertum, Diarahan!” Yuugi pointed desperately towards Souji. It was all he could do now.
----------
“I... think we got in trouble for acting out of turn. Are you okay? Do you need help up?”
What are we going to do? We have to find the others...
----------
Jounouchi was trying to convince himself to turn around. That wasn't going to well, so he'd fumbled out his deck of cards. An idea had occurred to him. He was shakily flipping through them when Uzume shouted out her attack name, and he whirled around and was all but blinded by the glowing light. He shot his hand up, causing him to drop about half his cards. His priorities would be annoying Uzume as he suddenly seemed more concerned with gathering the damn things than the fact there was a bright shining figure ahead of him.
He noticed one of the cards in his hand as Uzume was calling him useless. He scowled in the direction of the voice, having finally realized who it was. He held up the card.
“Flame Swordsman!”
The card vanished into light. In a burst of fire, a rather tall humanoid wielding a fiery red sword appeared. In that instant, the area they were in was suddenly a lot clearer. And Jounouchi lost the color from his face he'd already regained. Because where they were was now clearly a crypt of some sorts. There were sarcophagi all over the place, most of them were overturned and empty. Quite a few of them had mummies in various levels of desiccation. The poor teenager looked like he was having trouble swallowing for goodness sakes...
----------
“You want to die that badly?”
Atem was thumbing through the cards in his deck pouch as he spoke. He took a single step forward. At the glare from Shadow Bakura, he stopped. It would be enough to keep the attention away from the pouch, he hoped. Shadow Bakura got to his feet and stared Atem in the face.
“No. I don't want to die. I have to die. You wouldn't get it, would you? You're always able to save the day,” Shadow Bakura looked at Bakura, “I'm not able to. No matter what I do, more people will get hurt...”

Magatsu Izanagi glared at Yuugi as he healed Souji. The bullet had gone clean through Souji's shoulder, so there hadn't been any issues with it lodging there like there had been with this body. Narrowing his eyes, Magatsu Izanagi held out his hand, and a large cleaver-spear appeared in his hand, much like the one he used as a Persona.
"Vorpal Blade!" Magatsu Izanagi swung the spear out, sending blade-like gusts of wind toward Souji, Minato, Naoto, and Yuugi. With that, he had confirmed one more thing: He had the same abilities now that he did as a Persona.
Souji winced as he was cut more than fairly badly by the attack. At least three slashes, probably more smaller ones. However, he managed to stand up again and summon his own Persona. Notably, Izanagi-no-Okami was lacking that strange amount of life Magatsu Izanagi had. In fact, it was lacking a lot of the life most Personas had.
Naoto had been sent flying by the fast moving slashes, and it looked like it was going to take her a moment to get up. It was at this time that Minato was glad he'd been on guard and waiting for an attack like that. He'd been able to brace himself to the powerful gusts of wind because of that.
"Magatsu Izanagi, why are you attacking us?!" Souji yelled. Normally he wouldn't pass up a chance to beat the crap out of Adachi like this, but these were special circumstances involving, of course, Izanagi.
"I'd thought it would be obvious," Magatsu Izanagi replied.
"How is this supposed to be obvious to me?!" Souji yelled back.
-----------------
"N-Nah, I've got it," Kanji said. He was feeling a little nervous. Well, he always felt nervous around girls, anyways. And at the moment, he was trapped underground with one. Joyous.
---------------------
Uzume facepalmed at Jounouchi's reaction to the mummies. After a moment, she walked past him, stopping only to look at him and scoff. "Wimp. If we're going to find a way out of here, I need your help too. So suck it up."

Yuugi was blown backwards by the wind as well. It wasn't just that he had a similar height to Naoto, either. While she was prone, she was at least decently off. However, Nefertum and as a result Yuugi were weak to Slash attacks. The teenager hit the sand hard and continued to slide for a few feet before his back hit one of the columns near the entrance to the ruins. Nefertum had vanished as a result. The worst of it was Yuugi's condition. He had one obvious cut on each limb, a somewhat deep one over his upper chest, and a smaller one under his left eye. It was close enough to the eye that the eye was shut. The glasses had miraculously escaped damage due to shoving up his face at some point during the attack. His school uniform was torn in all the places one would expect it to be for his injuries, and a few smaller rips showed that he was somehow lucky to have just been hit as he did. He was conscious, but clearly in massive amounts of pain. ---------- Anzu didn't look convinced. However, if it was anything like Jounouchi or Honda, it would be better to let him stubborn his way to his feet. She looked up towards the holes that allowed the light to enter the area. Her eyes widened as she realized how big they were and she pulled out her deck, quickly thumbing through the cards before she chose one. “Fairy's Treasure!” The card vanished into light, which shot up and then down directly in front of Anzu's face. A large green humanoid with giant green butterfly wings appeared in front of her. She pointed towards the holes of light. “Can you fly out and see if you can get a grasp on our surroundings?” The fairy nodded and spread its wings, banking a bit to get into one of the streams of light. Anzu turned back towards Kanji. “I don't know what else to do... I don't want to move until she comes back.” ---------- Jounouchi scowled at Uzume, but still seemed quite clearly freaked out. Then again, hadn't she suggested they get out? That sounded like a very very good idea to the teenager. He glanced towards Flame Swordsman, who seemed to have gone on guard. In reaction to him? “So... uh.... I don't know how you Ka things work. Uh, forward? I need the fire from your sword.” It felt really weird. Jounouchi was used to thinking the cards had hearts, but... not ordering them around like this. This wasn't exactly a game, after all. The Ka seemed to understand the stumbled order and walked forward, pausing when it realized Jounouchi wasn't moving. Jounouchi let out a nervous laugh and ran up to stay at its side. “So Ms. Snob,” Jounouchi said the name in poorly pronounced English, “Do you have any idea where we're going?” ---------- “People will be hurt whether you die or not,” Atem said. His fingers closed around one card. “They won't be hurt because of me!” the Shadow shouted back. “....I can't let you die. You claim to be Bakura, right? Well, if 'you' die, people will continue to be hurt because of you. Letting Anpu have your body? It'll all be blamed on you.” “Be quiet! You don't understand anything!” Atem pulled the card out and threw it towards the hole in the ceiling. It wasn't anywhere near as graceful as Kaiba could have managed, but it flew sort of straight. It was beginning to melt into light seconds out of Atem's hand. It vanished in a flash of blinding light at the top of its ascent, and the light continued on through the roof. Shadow Bakura had jerked his head towards Atem as soon as the card had left his hand. Because Atem was now chanting in Ancient Egyptian... ---------- Anyone outside would have to be blind, deaf, and dumb to miss the giant gold sphere that suddenly flashed into existance in the sky above the ruins. Minato would realize what it was if he was in any condition to actually look at the thing. The way the oversized sun in the area reflected off the polished gold was almost blinding. Another pulse of energy shot out from the orb before much in the way of reactions could be had and it suddenly unfolded. Two large mecha-like wings, and a vague eagle shape. The summoned monster let out a roaring noise as it finished unfolding. ….At least Minato would know what the hell the thing was. Atem had summoned the Phantom God commonly known as Ra. "Yuugi!" Minato wheeled around as he saw Yuugi get hit by the Vorpal Blade attack. Yuugi had gotten hit much worse than any of the rest of them had, and he had several wounds on his body. It was obvious he'd gotten hurt the worst of all of them, even with how Naoto had been knocked over by the attack.
"Tch. Salvation!" Minato ordered. Messiah raised its four arms, and a glowing white energy moved around the four of them, healing the wounds from the Vorpal Blade.
Magatsu Izanagi gave a low growl as he held his hand out toward Minato. "Stay out of this. Mudoon!"
A large, very dark magic circle formed around Minato's feet. It glowed brighter for a moment before sending up a spike of energy around Minato. When it faded, Minato collapsed. He wasn't dead; he'd gotten lucky in that regard, but he was hurt very badly. In RPG terms, he had only 1 HP left.
---------------
"Uh... w-well, I'm gonna go look for a way out or somethin'!" Kanji yelled. He turned away from Anzu and started walking toward one of the shafts of light. If he looked harder, he might be able to find a way out that didn't involve waiting on some fairy to tell them where they were.
---------------
Uzume scoffed at Jounouchi. Not only had he insulted her, but he'd done it in absolutely horrid english.
"How should I know where we're going? The only reason I'm here is because I kicked that stupid machine," Uzume stated. "That's why we're searching for a way out, human." She paused. "Tell your Ka to light up that section of the wall a bit better. I think I see something."
------------------
Souji was trying to plan out his next move, but he wasn't entirely sure what to do. They couldn't hurt Magatsu Izanagi too badly, he was still using Adachi's body. He was sure Magatsu Izanagi had taken control of Adachi's body the same way Izanagi had taken control of his own body that time. The problem was, Souji didn't think Adachi could break free the same way he had back then; Adachi wasn't a Shadow. Knocking Magatsu Izanagi out was always an option, but Souji didn't know if that would force the Persona out of Adachi's body.
Magatsu Izanagi was still chuckling, even though he could feel Adachi struggling to take control again. Not like the man could break free from his power.
Get the hell out of my body, you bastard! Adachi yelled. Magatsu Izanagi only chuckled.
Seta said the same thing once. The difference between you and him is that he had his true Shadow nature allowed him to break free from my influence. While you, Tohru, you have nothing without the me Izanami granted you, Magatsu Izanagi chuckled to himself. I thought you hated Seta. You should thank me for doing you this favor.
I came here to save Ryou! He's got it into his stupid head that he has to die to keep everyone else from getting hurt, and if someone doesn't beat it into his head that that's not true, he really will die! Adachi yelled back. I don't have time to deal with you!
Be quiet, Tohru, Magatsu Izanagi stated. He couldn't erase the man due to how he was tied to his spirit, but he could still suppress him...
Souji shielded his eyes as something large and shiny appeared in the sky. He looked up and gaped at the large golden object in the sky, or at least what he could see of it. The glare from the sun on its polished surface was making it a bit hard to stare directly at it. Minato was gaping up at it as well as it unfolded.
"T-That's... one of the Phantom Gods! Ra!" Minato exclaimed. Atem must have summoned it from wherever he was... which meant things must have gone south wherever he was.

Yuugi might have lost consciousness there had Messiah not done Salvation when he had. The short teenager was still prone, and the pain was still present. He was attempting to get to his feet, but even on the odd chance he could get up in time, the computer had said he was prone. And really, the odds were slim. Of course, then Minato collapsed.
“Minato-kun!”
For a second there, Yuugi was in a mode of pure panic. Minato looked, at the very least, unconscious. Possibly dead. He wasn't sure if relief was the right feeling when the blue haired teenager twitched, but he was flooded with it. It was certainly enough to justify the computer's claim of him being prone...
----------
Fairy's Treasure had come out of one of the columns of light just in time to be blinded by the reflections off Ra. She let out a surprised eep and shielded her eyes with both arms as she flew into an area more hidden by shadow. After the god let out its howl, she slowly lowered her arms and her eyes widened. She looked around, squinting a bit both from the light and the distance. She couldn't guess as to the location of Jounouchi, but she had a feeling she knew where the Pharaoh and the other group was. She banked down and headed back into the area she'd come from.
----------
“Tatsumi-san...?”
That yell had seemed a little unnecessary. As had the quick way he'd turned around and almost stomped off from where they were at. Anzu sighed. They had to stay where they were at. So Fairy's Treasure could find them. Really, what was he so worked up ab- Anzu paused and grimaced.
“T-Tatsumi-san!” She ran up so she was walking next to him. She gave him a sweet smile, “Really, you don't have to worry! I-I-I like s-someone else!”
Anzu was blushing now. Fidgeting pretty badly too. There'd be no way in hell she could tell Kanji who she liked. But maybe it would be enough to put him at ease? Of course, now she just looked plain cute and the odds of things being at ease were rather slim...
----------
“Then don't you go walking around like you know where we're going!” Jounouchi barked back, “Or are you trying to get us lost?”
Jounouchi grumbled and turned away at the expression evident from Uzume's lips. Jounouchi heard her feet stop moving and turned back to her as she told him to light up part of the wall better. His first thought was to give argument, but he happened to catch a glimpse of another mummy. He visibly shuddered and pointed towards the wall. Flame Swordsman walked over and held out its sword, illuminating whatever Uzume had seen.
----------
Shadow Bakura had looked up towards the hole in the roof. The hole that now only had patches of erratic light coming through. Ra was large, after all. He scowled and looked towards Atem again.
“What are you doing!?”
“Letting the others know where we're at,” Atem stated.
“You need to get out of here! If you stay here much longer, you'll die! The rain is going to come soon!”
Atem took another step forward, “If it comes to that, I'm prepared to die with you.”
“No! Stop!” Shadow Bakura took a step back, “I can't let you stop me!”
Atem noted that there was a bit of darkness growing around the Shadow. Could the things go berserk out of self defense...?
----------
Yuugi had noticed the sudden increase in light levels. He was more concerned with Minato's condition. The blue haired teenager looked to be trying to get to his feet, but he'd stopped at the light. His jaw all but hit the sand as he shouted out the identity of the light. This caused Yuugi to jerk his head up and almost be blinded, but he recovered.
"...Ra? Why... why would he summon...?"
Yuugi looked ready to panic again, but his expression hardened. He was digging into his pocket. He had spare cards. Fifteen of them. He could do something...

Magatsu Izanagi couldn't help but chuckle again as the computer announced the order. He hadn't been able to kill the one known as Minato, but the attack had put the strongest member of that little group out of commission for now, leaving only Seta standing. And it also meant he could move before any of the others could. After all, they still hadn't managed to get up off of the ground. Magatsu Izanagi ran forward, slashing out with his cleaver-spear at Souji, who brought his own sword up to block the blade.
"I'm tired of you! As if it wasn't bad enough you had to awaken to your true purpose so soon, but you refused to give in and fade away like a good little Shadow!" Magatsu Izanagi yelled, pressing down more with the blade.
"I told you to stop calling me that!" Souji yelled. He managed to break away Magatsu Izanagi's blade and roll to the side. He looked up at Ra and then at Yuugi for a moment, and then at the ruins in the distance. "We don't have time! Everyone, get to the ruins and help Atem! I'll deal with Magatsu Izanagi, just go!"
------------------
Kanji stopped and blinked as Anzu started stuttering out what she thought his problem was. "I-I didn't mean it like that! I-I mean... augh!" He started running off in the same direction he had been going.
Even with how he'd been rooming with Naoto (Sempai had to get some kind of sick pleasure out of putting the two of them together like that), he was still very nervous around other girls. It wasn't like Naoto was a girl. Or, well, she was, but she wasn't much like one to Kanji. Except she was. Except she wasn't. Except...

Uzume gave a smile as Flame Swordsman illuminated what she thought had been there: an oh so very obvious switch. Or, since this entire area seemed to be based on someone's perception of Egypt based on movies, an unlit torch. Uzume pulled down on the torch, causing a secret passageway to open up.
"I believe this is the path out. At the very least, it leads deeper into the ruins. I suspect we'll find Bakura at the deepest point," Uzume said. Without waiting for Jounouchi, she started walking down it.

Yuugi had yanked a card out of his pocket. His eyes had widened when he saw it. It was a fairly strong one, but more important, it could fly. He was about to ignore turn order, come what may, when Souji shouted that they needed to get to Atem. It was a horrible way his emotions were torn.
If they left Souji here, it was possible the silver haired teenager would die. If they stayed here to help, it was possible one of them would die. And choosing to stay with Souji would be as if he didn't trust Souji. Choosing to go to Atem would be as if he didn't trust Atem. He looked down a the card in his hand and closed his eyes. He didn't want to have to choose between two people like that, especially when either choice could keep them both alive!
And the fact he had a decision made just meant it hurt more. He got to his feet and dug in his pocket. As his turn approached, he pulled another card out. At least he could provide a shield of some sort, right? Atem had the Holy Barrier – Mirror Force card, but... if he was going to help Atem, he needed to wait his turn to act. He didn't know what had happened to the others, and he couldn't put Souji's effors to total waste.
----------
“Tatsumi-san, wait!” Anzu cupped her hands around her mouth, “We can't run off without hearing back from Fairy's Treasure!”
The Ka came through a shaft of light just in front of Kanji. With her size and rough position, if he wasn't able to come to a stop he'd pretty much face plant against the poor green figure. She managed to notice Kanji, but it wasn't in time for her to dodge. She let out an expectant squeak and threw up her hands, not that the size difference meant the impact brace would do much good...
----------
“H-hey, wait! If it goes deeper then yo....... hey!”
Uzume was completely ignoring him. She had vanished into the tunnel. The stairs lead down? Well that was just great. They were going deeper. Dungeons in this kinds of things were always underground, right? So going down would just get you deeper. And there wasn't really room to summon Red Eyes. It would have been a great idea to send the dragon out to see if it could find the others. As it was though, he didn't want to be in this room anymore.
Jounouchi clenched his fists and stomped down the stairs. Flame Swordsman was providing light behind him, so it wasn't an issue. If Uzume wasn't a girl, he would have hit her a long time ago. Man, she upset him as much as Kaiba used to. He was just behind her in a few moments.
“Stop treating me like baggage,” he stated.
----------
Shadows didn't go about changing their emotions. Atem had realized something at some point. Shadows were defined by their inability to change. Those Shadows that could change became something more. Still unsure on Souji's identity, but convinced of Teddie's and suspicious of Ryoji's, a Shadow that grew beyond the rut it was created in became more than a Shadow. Maybe it was why the TV Worlds never changed. Because that was the subconscious at the moment of creation, a sign of what could be worked past. Atem took another step towards Shadow Bakura, who had begun to look threatening even in expression.
“If you die, I can promise you that you'll take your friends with you. You'll take their friends with your friends. Souji-kun, Minato-kun, Naoto, Kanji, Anzu, Jounouchi-kun, Partner... myself. We won't leave without Bakura. If we can't take Bakura, we'll die here.”
“Do you really want to stop the bloodshed? Are your actions here to prevent further deaths? Then try again another time,” Atem didn't look sympathetic. His eyes were a fair bit dark, “If you really want to throw your life away, do it on your own time. Don't take everyone with you.”
“If I have to kill Bakura to save everyone else, I will. The gods and Partner forgive me, but I won't let your selfishness kill him.”
----------
Ra's behavior would be changing to those paying attention to it. The wings spread to their impressive full wingspan and flapped once. There was quite the force of wind created by it as the eagle-like creature rose into the air. It turned its beaked head down towards the large building it was above. It definitely seemed at ready for something...

Naoto had managed to get to her feet by this point, and she had her hand gripped on her gun. Normally, in a situation like this, she'd use her Persona, but she needed to conserve her strength. It was likely Bakura's Shadow would go berserk soon, either from Bakura rejecting it or the rain. They needed to make things quick, and in a situation like this, she needed to disarm Magatsu Izanagi. With that thought, she aimed her gun at Magatsu Izanagi's right hand and shot it, forcing him to drop his spear.
"Sempai, I won't leave you here to fight him by yourself," Naoto called. Minato managed to get to his feet, though he was a bit wobbly, and nodded.
Memories of the last time his friends had tried to protect him like this flooded Souji's mind. It had ended with every single one of them except Rise getting pulled into Yomi. They had been good as dead. They would have been dead if it hadn't been for his Persona ascending then, and the Myriad Truths he'd forced on Izanami. "Dammit, we don't have time for this! I can handle myself, and this is my fault anyways! Just go!"
Magatsu Izanagi gave an even deeper smirk. He didn't even really feel the pain from the bullet wound, but it would keep him from being able to use that hand. Shame it was Adachi's gun hand as well. At the moment, he was waiting for Yuugi's turn to pass.
----------------
Kanji didn't see Fairy's Treasure coming, and as a result, when he finally did see the fairy, his attempt to duck out of the way lead to him faceplanting on the hard ground. Kanji let out a few rather unpleasant words before pushing himself up and glaring back at the fairy. "Hey! What's the big idea?!"
-------------
Uzume paused as Jounouchi told her to stop treating him like baggage. After a moment, she turned and looked back at him, a flat expression on her face.
"You are baggage. All you have going for you is a deck of cards, and you don't even have the intelligence to use them properly," Uzume stated. She didn't actually know that as fact, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to chide him on his intelligence in relation to his gaming skills. "And to be honest, I'm getting tired of you jumping at every mummy we come across. I don't have time to waste on cowardly dogs."

There was probably a lot of things the group was expecting. A lot of things. The computer blowing up? A beam of light coming out of the sky, hitting the computer, and the machine blowing up as a result? Probably not expected. Probably not even within the range of what would be considered possible. However, happen it did. The computer blew up into several pieces, but the explosion seemed fairly controlled, as if someone with a knowledge of explosives had caused it. The game board? It vanished too, just without quite the fanfare.
”MORNING STAR!”
It was in perfect English. It came at about the same time as the explosion. It was accompanied by a part in the clouds that were beginning to form in the sky. A shaft of light shot down to the area just behind Magatsu Izanagi in Adachi's skin, and a vaguely humanoid shape could be seen. The light drew from the shape and fired at the god. The drawn light was about Adachi's size and in the shape of a Hebrew star.
It wasn't technically impossible for Magatsu Izanagi to dodge, but it also wasn't terribly likely, either. It wouldn't kill Adachi if it hit, but even Magatsu Izanagi would be feeling it. At best, the god would be knocked back into the stasis of an destroyed Persona... and that would just add more pain to what Adachi would already be feeling.
Whether the attack hit or not, the source it had shot out from landed now. It was, as possibly expected by certain members of the group, Lucius. Not Lucifer, worth pointing out, at least not that form, although the wings were present. The “teenager” had on tight black jeans and a sleeveless skin tight black shirt. Around his neck on a silver chain was a gold cross, and from his left ear hung a cross that matched the necklace. His hair was actually down for once in this form, and as he landed the six wings of light flashed out of existence from his back, no explanation for how they'd formed with his shirt on present.
----------
“My apologies, sir!”
Anzu had winced as Kanji hit the ground face first. She had been running over to him. Fairy's Treasure had bowed towards Kanji, her wand in both hands. She looked up as Anzu ran towards her and flew over Kanji, bowing again and pointing towards the holes in the area with the wand.
“Mistress, I have news! The one known as Ra has been summoned, and I only know of two currently able to control it! With everything else outside, it has to be the Pharaoh!”
“Atem-kun summoned one of the god cards!?”
----------
Jounouchi gave a rather nasty glare towards Uzume. He got the first word or so of insisting his rank in the Duel Monsters world and how very well did know how to use his cards when she trampled over him. He might have just continued on miffed at that, but then she said the one insult that always pissed him of the most.
“Take that back you bitch!” He shouted, “I don't have to put up with that insult from Kaiba, and I don't have to put up with it from you! You want to doubt my abilities as a Duelist, then let's go! You and me, I don't care if you're a girl!”
----------
Shadow Bakura looked..... calm? All of a sudden, he was calm. He averted his gaze from the former Pharaoh and chuckled a bit. It wasn't anything like Dark Bakura would have done. It was far too pained. Atem's eyes widened as he noted that the Shadow was crying. He lowered the arm he had lifted, and outside Ra's attack pose shifted to one more at ready. Shadow Bakura sat down in a manner something like falling and put covered his face with his hands. Atem blinked and watched him. He... didn't seem so dangerous now.
Shadow Bakura lifted his head, “I'm terrified. I know my death might stop nothing, but there isn't anything left for me to do. Even worse, if I'm reborn again, this entire cycle might start over. Karma, right? I have to suffer until everything Anpu has done, everything he is doing, is forgiven? But... I can't deal with it anymore. I tried being tough, I tried putting on a good face...”
“If you're going to kill me to save everyone, would you do it now? I... I don't think I can do it myself. Weak as always...”
