"Nyah..." Luigi pointed his flashlight up the spiraling foyer stairs warily. "L-looks... dangerous..."
"Aw, calm down, Luigi," Geno hiked up the flight first. "The only thing dnagerous about those stairs is probably falling throu..."
SNAP.
"WAAAAHHHHH" In a snap and crumble of timber, Geno was gone.

There was no response at first.
"OH NOOOOOOO!!!!" Luigi panicked. "HE FELL INTO THE ENDLESS ABYSS!!!!"

".......um...... or not." Luigi grinned sheepishly.

Fox turned to Luigi.
"I don't know about you, but I'm going down there to see if he's okay."
Without hesitation he started to climb down.

"Hyah! C-coming!" Luigi prodded a foot down to try and get a solid footing, but, of course, he slipped and began to tumble down. "YAAAAHHH-"
He fell right past Fox, missing him barely. "-AAAAAAAHH-OOF!"

"Aw great," Fox mumbled ", Hold on I'm coming down!"
Fox felt around for something to stand on. He let go and landed on a pile of crates then jumped down to the floor below.
"You need to be more careful," he helped Luigi up then ran to help Geno.

"Ooh... y-yeah..." Geno wobbled a bit, but shook himself until his dizziness wore off. "Geez... some fall... Where are we?"

"We appear to be in the basement," Fox answered feeling the walls of the dark musty room for a lightswitch or something ",If I could only find the damn light sw...Oh here it is."
Fox flipped the switch causing rows of lights to turn on, lighting the corridor in front of them.
"Hm, weird...seems more like a hidden passage than a basement."

"We should see where it leads and hope it gets us back upstairs," Geno urged them on, and they began to slowly creep down the hall, Luigi's trmebling flashlight darting everywhere.
"Hey, chill out, Luigi!"(XD) Geno chided.
"Well what if there were GHOSTS down here, HUH??"
"Luigi, we haven't SEEN any ghosts yet."
"But we could!"
"Just relax, okay?"

Fox rolled his eyes. It was kinda creepy down there but Geno was right, they haven't seen any ghosts yet. That is until the door at the end of the hallway opened by itself, the door knob even turned on it's own but nothing was on the other side.
"Well, that was weird," Fox stared blankly at the haunted door.

"Would you RELAX?" Geno stepped through the doorway first. "There's nothing the--!"

"Hm? Geno? You okay?" Fox approached him slowly when suddenly out of the door flew hundreds of ghosts.
"WHOA!!" Fox ducked as the ghosts flew over him. They seemed to ignore the three for the most part though.

"KYAH!" Luigi fall over in his panic. Soon, however, the ghosts disappeared into the darkness.
"...okay..." Geno finally spoke up. "What was THAT all about?"
