(OOC: Because I fail and forgot to write this, Gakupo put his shirt back on just before getting food. XD)
Gakupo stood up and glanced around, picking Len out pretty quickly. However, he also saw Kaito and Zero standing near the entrance to the ice cream place. And to make things worse, Kaito seemed to be chatting with the white haired entity. Gakupo narrowed his eyes and nudged Luka, not caring if she attacked him on reflex, "We've got to go save Kaito-san," he said.

Shit, I didn't think I'd have to explain this... he doesn't seem the type to take lies well, either... Well, its not the end of the world if this fails, so I might as well,
"We got into an argument over some trouble I caused at Miku's concert," Zero said, waiting for the reaction before wasting more breath. The honesty here could either solidify his chances are blow them to bits. If he had to, he wasn't above infecting Kaito with a virus, although it would make the whole situation rather inconvenient.

"Oh, so that's why..." Kaito said in a low voice. To hide his face, he started eating some of his ice cream. For some reason, he had a feeling this guy was bad news... but he felt some kind of strange attraction to him.
He looked up. "Hey... are you the guy who installed me, Zero-san?" he asked. "I woke up in front of a computer today, but I didn't see my master anywhere."

Luka stood up, and spotted Zero and Kaito, talking, despite the fact that both Miku and Gakupo had said he was bad news. Miku had seen it too, and her face had turned white as a sheet.
"I-I'll stay here with Rin-chan. You two go help Kaito, then," Miku said.

Len saw Miku and Rin and ran over to the two past Gakupo. "Rin! Don't ever run off like that!" Len said as he ran up to her. Rin didn't say anything but just hugged him, she was scared that he went missing for the moment and missed him.

Gakupo nodded towards Miku, but kept his katana sheathed. After the fiasco earlier, maye he and Luka could intimidate Zero into going away. He made his way towards the group, confident Luka was with him. His agility actually helped quite a bit with picking his way through the people.

Master? You really need to learn to set your priorities straight... although I suppose if they don't try to destroy you...
Zero shook his head, "If I did, it wasn't intentional. You've probably picked up on this, but I'm a program myself."
He didn't specify how he was a program, although he was a bit surprised at how well the Vocaloid had taken the revelation. He was having trouble reading Kaito, which considering he was a program was a bit of a surprise. He was focused enough on the situation that he didn't notice Gakupo heading his way.

Kaito looked away. "Oh. That's nice to know!" He gave his buffoonish smile, but it would be rather clear to Zero that he was just pretending here. He glanced over to the side, and noticed Gakupo and Luka approaching. And suddenly, Kaito felt very protective of Zero. He finished his ice cream, and reached inside his coat, feeling into one of his pockets for a knife that he always kept in there.

Len was a little taken aback by this hug but just let Rin do so. "Miku, why are you so pale?" Len asked concerned.

Zero raised his eyebrow and turned to where Kaito was facing. The cavalry had arrived. He didn't want to let his powers fly here, it probably wouldn't bode well for any manipulation he was doing of Kaito. However, he sensed a flick in Kaito's programming, and it threw him completely off guard. He had not touched him or sent any of his virus programming into the Vocaloid, but he was picking up an an... error? Did this Vocaloid have its own virus he had somehow missed?
Gakupo reached the group, but stopped and held out his arm to protect Luka. Something she was sure to appreciate. Zero looked like something had caught him off guard, and his eyes had flicked to Kaito as he figuratively stumbled. Gakupo now had his hand on his katana.
"Something's wrong..." he stated, very flatly.

Kaito continued giving his usual smile while slowly pulling a knife out from his coat. He wasn't attacking quite yet. He was waiting to see how Gakupo and Luka would react first.
Somehow, he'd gotten an idea into his head that Zero was his master. And now, he would protect him if he could.
Luka stared at Kaito, then at the knife, and then at Zero. "What did you do to him?" Luka asked.

"Miku? You okay?" Len asked Miku since she still wasn't answering. Rin just conitnued to hold onto Len.

Zero scowled before he had a chance to think the situation through. He could have taken credit for Kaito's error, which seemed to be getting worse, but he hadn't thought of it in time. Now all he had room to do was be insulted. He crossed his arms, well aware that Kaito had shifted his stance to stand in front of him. Combined with the presence of a knife, was the program... protecting him?
"I didn't do anything," he glared, "Use your status as a program and you'll find no trace of my systems in his. I haven't even touched him, so you can't even blame it on that."
Gakupo's eyes widened. Zero was right. And Kaito was looking at the situation with eyes he had only seen the Vocaloid use in acting. It was disturbingly similar to one of his PVs... He narrowed his eyes, "Luka, think back to some of Kaito's acting roles. I don't think he's acting right now..." he kept his hand on his katana, but he didn't seem willing to do anything else just yet. He honestly didn't know if Kaito could fight or not, there had never been any situation where he had honestly done so. But he didn't want to cut down the Vocaloid, rival or not.
(OOC: If it isn't PAINFULLY obvious, I'm referencing KAITO ga UNINSTALL here. XD)

Luka glared at Zero. He had proven to be even more of a problem than she'd thought he would be. Especially considering he'd gotten Kaito to act like this. But if Kaito wasn't acting right now, then did this mean he had been acting the whole time?
And if he'd been acting this whole time, then that meant...
"Kaito... put the knife down," Luka said, stepping forward to try to negotiate. Kaito didn't move at all.
"Get away from Master," Kaito said. His voice was missing the usual sillyness. It very greatly resembled how he had acted in one PV.
Only this time it wasn't acting.
He hadn't been acting during the PV either.

Zero twitched. Master? Good lord this program was delusional. But as he glanced towards his "protector" he realized that there actually wasn't an error. This was closer to the way the program "felt". He wasn't sure why the program thought he was the one who had installed it, but if the Vocaloid was going to snap, he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity. He looked up at Gakupo and Luka and grinned one of his infamous grins.
"You heard him," the voice was pure psychosis and the glint in Zero's eyes were quite dangerous. The comparison to the way Kaito and Zero looked right now was rather unsettling.
Gakupo made to take a step towards Kaito and Zero. He had no intention of actually doing so, but he wanted to test Kaito's reaction. He worried, possibly correctly, that the blue haired Vocaloid would take a swipe at him. But he wanted to be sure. He had a hand ready to pull Luka back as well, if the need arose.
The owner of the ice cream store was hiding behind the counter. He had known it was a bad idea to have Vocaloids in the store, although it hadn't occured to him it would degenerate quite like this.

Kaito stepped forward at the same moment Gakupo did, and moved what could possibly be said as faster than Gakupo could, cutting off part of one of his front ponytails before moving back in front of Zero. From the looks of things, he knew how to use that knife quite well, especially from the dried blood on the blade.
"Gakupo, let me knock him out. We can knock some sense into him after that," Luka whispered to Gakupo.
"...Master, you don't have any other Vocaloids, do you?" Kaito asked Zero.

"What is Kaito doing?" Len asked suprised as he saw Kaito cut Gakupo's ponytail off. Rin was scared by this behavior, and hid behind Len.
