A soft gentle tug and pull were swaying at her small body, putting her through a well earned rest. The sun's rays, the soft warm heat of her resting place, and a slight breeze pushing her hair around. It couldn't feel more right to sleep here.
The smell of fresh pine trees finally tickled her nostrils, causing her gentle eyes to open. It didn't take too long before Namia remembered where she was, sleeping on Sain's back as he walked her home. He couldn't have known the way to her Mansion, but it's not very hard to notice.
With a small squirm and a yawn, she finally awoke, albeit drowsily. His movements were driving her back into a slumber, but she tried to resist.

Boots crunching in the dirt and leaves, Sain continued to walk through the forest. In truth, he had memorized the way the imp had gone and walked in that direction. He had only been off by about 3 degrees when he spotted the forest.
He gradually became aware of Namia waking up on his back. Her weight, though small, was still extra weight, but Sain carried her gladly. His arms were aching, but he wouldn't let Namia know that.
"Hey," he said softly, "are you awake back there~?"

Her emerald eyes glanced forward. "S...Sain...? Yeah, I'm... I'm awake... "
As much as she said that, she was drifting off as she spoke. She gripped his shoulders Softly, rubbing against him as he kept moving. She didn't know what it was, but somehow... something inside her was filling up. She didn't feel like herself, but she still enjoyed this unknown feeling inside.
She almost fell asleep again, as a matter of fact.

Sain gently took Namia off his back and held her in front of him, against his chest. He rubbed her back as they walked, feeling a similar sensation as Namia. He knew Namia was having difficulty staying awake, but he didn't mind. He gently kissed her forehead.

The sudden change of permission took her off gaurd, but she quickly got over it. She even smiled as he kissed her on the forehead.
A familiar violet glow appeared in front of them, floating around insecurely before revealing her identity; Madeline, Namia's Ghostly sister. "Mr. Sain...? Why do you have Namia in your arms?" Her eyes jolted by coming up with her own conclusion. "Unless... you're here to... give her back because her errand left her in pain?"

Sain was caught off guard. "Uhhh... well, the truth is... um." He couldn't find the words.

Namia slowly shifted in his arms. "Ma... Madeline..."
Hearing her name, she hovered close. "Yes? What's wrong?"
"He... doesn't have any... where else to stay," she answered, with a hopefully happy smile. "I... offered the mansion as a place for him... to stay with us..." She was still drowsy. even while speaking, it was easy to see she was drifting away.
Of course, the ghost in front of them only looked confused, before switching to understanding. "I see... Come along then, Mr. Sain. The Mansion isn't too far ahead of us," She flipped around, then darted off, leaving a small trail of flames so he wouldn't get lost.
Fortunately, they simmered and burnt out before they could cause any real harm, so they were just trail markers.

"Thank you," Sain quietly said, with a slight bow. When Madeline wasn't watching, he gently stroked Namia's hair, almost subconsciously. He followed the flame trail, wondering what he was getting into.

Namia moaned slightly from her hair being stroked, burying herself further toward him. which would've been easier if his armor was off.
When the trail had ended, not even that far from the starting location, a large, seemingly well made old Mansion loomed overhead, with a small set of stairs and everything. Madeline was no-where in sight- possibly already inside -leaving just Sain and Namia.

Sain stopped to admire the mansion. He took it all in, and aside from a castle, it was about the largest domicile he'd ever seen. He wondered how Namia was able to live in such a place.
He pulled open the door and stepped into the foyer.

Immediately, he was greeted with a small set of whispers coming from behind the furniture in the room. The things asked included who he was, if that was Namia in his arms, and a question involving lunch time, immediately answered with a smack and an ouch.
The lights were, in fact, on, so it was easy to tell quite the number of them were hiding in one spot, mainly because they were colorful. One of thm, an aqua colored Imp who also happened to be mute, finally decided to brave the unkown, causing a few outlandish and over reacted results.
"Is she crazy?! Don't let that man see you!" were a few common calls, among others.

Sain listened to the whispers, trying to tell apart the different phrases. He tried to make himself look as nonthreatening as possible, and then he saw the aqua-colored imp.
He smiled wide in what he hoped was not an evil-looking smile, and didn't speak, allowing the imp to control the situation. He'd dealt with wary animals. Wary imps surely wasn't too different.

being tall for an imp (3ft, by chance), she watched him as he tried to look... comforting. Her lips moved, no speech being made, and she smiled, extending her hand to him.
Despite this, there were still spiteful whispers being made. Very few of the imps trusted him, at the very least.

Recognizing the tentative offer for contact, Sain cautiously approached the imp, extending his own arm toward her.
"Hey there," he said gently. "My name is Sain." He made sure to maintain his smile.

Again, she spoke not a word, just moving her lips. She grasped Sain's hand a shook it, a glad look on her face.
Namia finally stirred, pushing away just enough to see the Aqua colored imp. "Oh...? Sain, don't expect an answer from her. She's mute."
