Most people avoided the Old Hospital. The circumstances of its destruction had been rather catastrophic, and the many deaths that had occurred in its grounds had tainted the land. No one realized it, but that was the real reason they had been unable to build over it. The land was tainted.
Most people who came near these grounds would only see a white wolf prowling around the grounds. Every now and then the wolf would stop and look toward the concrete foundation of the old hospital, dig up a bit of earth, and then keep on walking.
Very few people would be able to see the wolf's true form. Only those who truly, in the basest parts of their soul, believed would see it. All others only saw the form she took in this human world, the white wolf. Even those with spiritual senses would only be able to sense the vague sense of something spiritual and holy related to the wolf, and they still wouldn't see the red markings or the flaming disc on her back.
In the end, most people on the island wouldn't be able to see the Okami Amaterasu in her true form. It was a depressing thought, but it only meant she had to help here and make them believe. This would be her first Great Divine Intervention since she arrived on the island.

"Faith, why'd this place interest you?"
Faith looked towards Dementia.
"Classified."
Dementia sighed, as they strolled along the old hospital. She looked around nervously. There's something about wrong about this place that she didn't like.
The two than spotted a wolf. Dementia was going towards it, but Faith put her hand up to stop her.
Nearby, two people were watching silently.

Amaterasu looked over at the two people who had approached. Well, they weren't human in the strictest senses of the word. Amaterasu looked away from them and started walking over the concrete foundation of the hospital. She stopped when she reached a rather large crack in the foundation. The wolf took a step back from the crack, and swiped her tail in a circular motion.
Suddenly, a large bomb appeared from the air and landed on the crack before exploding in a spray of fireworks. The wolf was unfazed, and only looked down at the ground she'd revealed with that explosion. This was the source of the corruption. This would be a very hard land to purify, Amaterasu could already tell.
A fair amount of ink appeared on Amaterasu's tail, and suddenly, Amaterasu burst into a run, leaving a trail of ink just hovering in the air behind her. But most curiously, flowers and grass were growing through the cracks in the foundation where Amaterasu stepped. Then she began running all around the ruins of the hospital, jumping up onto old pieces of brick wall and actually clinging to a remaining upright wall at one point. Everywhere, vegetation was springing up. Vines were growing up the walls, grass was growing where no flora or fauna would grow before. Sprouts that could have been trees were growing up from the ground.
But as Amaterasu ran, the vegetation began to die. But she didn't stop, not until she had covered the entire hospital grounds with the ink. The ink hovered there before forming a white light and spreading out over the area. It sank into the ground, and for a short moment there was silence. And then, there was a rumbling sound as a large tree began to sprout from the area Amaterasu had bombed. It did not stop growing until it was taller than any of the other structures in the area. However, the tree had no leaves, no flowers, anything.
The moment the tree stopped growing, Amaterasu lept up into its branches. She climbed until she had reached the topmost branch that could support her weight. She swiped her tail in a circle, creating a circle of ink around the tree that formed into flower petals. At that moment, Amaterasu gave a howl. A holy wind began to blow, and the flower petals swirled around the tree as it began to burst into bloom. Soon, the tree was almost completely covered in the same beautiful pink blossoms that had swirled around it before.
A wave of holy energy burst from the tree, covering all of the old hospital's grounds. The same vegetation that had refused to grow before sprung to life. Flowers burst from the ground, grass began to grow, trees grew up. By the time the holy energy of the Guardian Sapling had finished its work, the area looked much the same way it might have before the trees were cut down to make the new hospital, though the concrete foundation remained. In a way, it was beautiful.
And with that, Amaterasu lept down from the Sapling's branches.

Dementia jumped at the bomb, but looked in awe as the wolf helped make the place a bit more beautiful.
Faith showed indifference in both things, but was quite impressed with the wolf's power. She scanned that she was good, but she wanted to see how powerful she is.
Shade looked on in wonder. She was healing the place, which made her smiled.
She took out a wand, looked up a spell, and cast a spell, summoning up some Galaxy daisies; her world's most beautiful flower.
She picked one up with her wand, and sniffed it. She gave an innocent smile towards the white wolf.
"Thanks for making the place looking a bit better," she told the wolf.

Amaterasu turned toward Shade, and tilted her head to the side at her words. She flicked her ears a couple of times before something like a green bug leapt from the tuft of fur around her neck.
"Ah, geez! Don't ya know a purification when ya see one?" Issun asked. He hopped up several times so that he could see Shade's face. "Y'know? Divine intervention? Purification? All that kinda stuff?"
He began to hop at a more reasonable height. "Gaaah. You people wouldn't know a god's power if it were staring you in the face. Which it is."

Shade stared at the small bug-like creature that jumped in front of her face.
"Well, I kind of guess it was a god," She calmly stated, "or a nature spirit, with all the magic going on."
Part of her angel training required to do research on most spells, so she knew what Issun was talking about.
Dementia, on the other hand....
"THAT WOLF'S A GOD?!?!?!?"
Faith silently face-palmed. Its moments like this that she questioned if she have any emotions at all.
