Out to Get People

The members of the Ironside Pirates had gathered in the graveyard under the cover of night. There was a thick fog rolling through the area. "All right men. And Faust..." said captain Edward Acero to his crew members. "I take offense to that" replied Panzer Faust. "We are all here. All of us that matter within the famous Ironside Pirates." Acero continued. "Of course, we always need cannon fodder if we're going to take over anything, especially a big place like this."
"Then how are we going to get cannon fodder? Nobody knows about us." Matsuura Takanobu questioned.
"Of course people know about us! We've been causing widespread destruction throughout the land!" replied Acero
"Uhhhh... No we haven't" Elfrith the fish man corrected.
"It doesn't matter!" said Acero. "We will be the next big thing!"
"Cap'n, de people of dis island have fought against gods." replied Thomas Boggs. "I don' thin' we'll get far."
"Yes we will, Boggs, yes we will. And if anybody questions me again, they shall be locked in a room with a moose."
Everything fell silent across the graveyard. Not one thing dared question Edward Acero after such a threat. Such a thing stripped the undead warlock Richard of his immortality. Somehow.
"Now all we have to do is wait, because everybody knows that people wanting to join evil organizations gather in shady places like this."

Several minutes later...

"Any second now..."

And even more minutes later...

"We should have put up flyers." Takanobu muttered.

Gothica and Triple D walked along the cemetery trail.

"I'm just saying we should get Aku to get rid of the versions of that pipsqueak that aren't on our side. Hardly anything harms him, and I heard tales of a mere claw on one of them screwed his entire life over, and almost died of a broken heart because his bitch of a boyfriend left him, and is only now recently recovering."

"Because if the tales of his battles are correct, the one thing that can stop him would most likely interfere, and I don't want to risk an important pawn in my plans."

Gothica sighed in annoyance. When he's right, he's right.

"We need to think of another way to defeat them easily."

They than took note of a group of people in the graveyard 10 feet in front of them. They decided to wait until they noticed their presence; the group's waiting seems like its good for a few laughs.

"Anybody bring a deck of cards? This might take a while." Elfrith stated. "I did." said Klaus as he pulled out cards from his jacket. "Anyone for Poker?" Acero asked. "I can make chips" he said as a stack of metal poker chips started forming in his hand. It wasn't until Klaus started shuffling that anyone noticed that Gothica and Triple D. "Hey! We've got customers!" Faust exclaimed.

Everybody except Faust instantly when to a fighting position. Acero made blades protrude from his arms. Boggs' hands glowed white. Takanobu turned into into his half-scorpion form. Elfrith drew his sword. Klaus turned into a demon, the process burning the cards to cinders. "State your name and your purpose" Acero growled.

The two showed indifference towards the figures. Gothica, while looking and sounding timid, is quite brave and the powers of Aku that she has can take down these punks at ease.

Triple D has took down things ten times bigger than him back in their own world. So, they weren't any threats to him.

"We're just checking your gang out, is all," Gothica stated.

"Listen punks, if you don't want to join this group of pirates, you better scram, or we'll kill you. Horribly." said Acero. "Do you want to know how wanted we are? I'll TELL you how wanted we are! My own bounty is more than 300 million berries! That's a HUGE amount where I come from. You gotta be damn powerful to amass a bounty like that." he boasted. "But, judging by those looks on your faces, I'll assume you're just here to fuck with us."

[B gal]

"Oooooooooh, how scary," Gothica mocked.

"Trust me, where I come from, I'm worth a hundred times that amount," Triple D scoffed, "But, this pirate gang of yours interested me. Can you tell me what it's about?"

"Isn't it obvious? We're trying to conquer this little piece of crap island!" Acero replied. "Why? Think of the countless universes we could have under our control by conquering this tiny yet enormous island!"

...

"It's a lot." he finished.

[B gal]

Gothica chuckled innocently.

"Well what a couwinidinc; that's what me and my boss are planning to do even without meeting ya band of pirates."

Triple D gave his trademark smirk.

"Are you with us, or against us?!" Acero snarled as he covered his fists with metal. "If you're against us, I'll personally murder your sorry asses right here." He brought his cigar in for another drag. "But if you decide to stop acting like little smartasses, you'll live and get to watch the birth of my new world order."

[B gal]

(Yeah, spelling not one of my strongest things.)

"Isn't it obvious," Triple D stated, "we're with ya. If we weren't, well-"

He picked up Gothica's vile she always carries around.

"See this vile? This contains a piece of Aku's power. When she takes a sip out of it, she will have access to his power for a good five hours. She'll used said power to kill you all in one fell swoop if we felt you guys aren't worth our time."

A slight pause.

"And if you think she can't do that, considered this little fact; Aku only has one weakness, and since you guys aren't pure at heart, you can't use it even if you managed to find out what it was. However, there's one condition if you guys want us have... complete membership."

"Define 'complete membership'." asked Acero as he lowered his guard somewhat. Fortunately, two of their members had only one weakness also. It's not like they would reveal it though.

[B gal]

"It means we won't turn you in if we get caught," Gothica stated.

[pieandchips]

"You do realize even if we do get caught, it won't matter, right?" Acero replied. "We're powerful enough to take down any kind of law enforcement. Each of us."
