So, I got tagged FOREVER ago to do the voice Meme- by our very own NintendoNut- and I did it. I've got two diffrent versions of it, one was done while I had a cold, the other was done when my alergies were acting up. And the word Ketchup is also pronounced Katsup. *shrug* I pronounce words as I read them.

Actually, "katsup" is also an alternate spelling, not just an alternate pronunciation. The word "meme" was coined by Richard Dawkins in the mid-70's and has only had one pronunciation except to weeaboos, who pronounce it "may-may" or "meh-meh", depending on how much they know Japanese.

Well, I still pronounce it the way I read it, and I read it "Me-Me".

Um, or people who are ACTUALLY JAPANESE would pronounce it mei-mei (closer than either of the pronunciations you provided, and the dialect can also effect) as well. I pronounced it "me-me" for the longest time cause the first voice meme I heard pronounced it that way. It may even be an accepted alternate pronunciation by this point.
Tah-may-toe, toe-mah-toe, after all. And those are spelled the same. Does it really matter if you understand what she means by it?

Hmm, Kisa did you see it as a joke? If so, I'm sorry for butting into a conversation where I wasn't needed. If not, let PaC know. PaC, you weren't clear you were telling a joke and it didn't look to me Kisa saw it that way. My apologies to you as well if you were both treating it as such.
