Zelda gave an even more sour look towards Roy. She walked over and put her hand on the hilt, splaying the fingers to indicate downwards towards the Triforce etched into the lower part of the blade.
"For knowing one of my ancestors," Zelda said, continuing with her facade, "You sure don't know much about Hyrule, do you? This is the Master Sword, a magical sword that can only be used by people it accepts. And that tends to be the Hero of Legend, and you are not him, any idiot can see that."

Roy stared at Zelda and the sword. He just got through explaining he only knew what she herself-- wait. The other Zelda had told him.
"So if that's for the Hero, why did it bring us here?" he said, surprisingly astutely. He seemed to flash in and out of brilliant insight, and regular person mode. "Why wouldn't it bring the Hero? We can't even take it and give it to him."
Sain was busy thinking. This Master Sword could only be drawn by the true Hero. He'd heard a legend like that once, back in Caelin. The legendary sword, waiting to be drawn by the man destined to rule. It was nonspecific because it had been an oral legend passed across time and space, but it still pervaded as the general concept. This sword seemed to be different though. The wielder wasn't chosen to rule, he was chosen to save the land. Save it from what, though? An evil sorcerer? A plague? Disease? General economic downturn? It was still too vague.
"In that case," said Sain, "who do you think could be this Hero of Legend, madam?" He approached the sword, taking a closer look at its patterns and design. "It wouldn't be a fighter, I don't think. Unless it's a very magical sword, because for all the fights it would have to have been in it doesn't have a ding or a dent in it. So it's either purely symbolic, like a king's crown and scepter, or it's full of magic that protects it from damage."

Zelda was not as genre savvy as one might have immediately thought. She knew some basics, such as the Master Sword, the Hero, and some generic stuff about Hyrule, but she was no expert. Blame ignoring her nanny whenever she got the chance, either by avoiding her or just plain tuning her out. She glared at Roy.
"Given the scenery, it's not my fault you wandered into the Lost Woods," she said.
She looked at Sain as he asked his question, giving a slightly annoyed frown at the way he addressed her. She regretted it quickly, she was supposed to be a princess and that was the least way he should address her. Still, it didn't really show. She was a bit hard to read given she was just various levels of annoyed at this point. And a little worried... although she masked that with even more annoyance.
"He's always some guy in a green outfit in the Legends," Zelda shrugged, "And given the entire public school dresses in green, that doesn't really narrow it down, now does it?"
Public school. Not exactly the most common thing in a world where a princess existed. Or where legends of swords and magic ran around. Of course, it was possible Roy and Sain's world had one contrary to worlds where education was limited to mainly the nobility, but... Zelda wasn't even aware of her potential slip.
(OOC: Legends capitalized on purpose, and Zelda has no idea of the right track she's on... XD Link goes to the school she mentioned.)
