(OOC: Me and Steve for now.)
It had taken the loss of all three to throw off the balance. As the King vanished, last of the bearers, it created a ripple. A ripple anyone with a sense for magic would feel. The unique properties of self preservation and dedication to destiny wouldn't allow it to go far. Not even a mile in any direction, but enough to make that small portion of the woods impossible to navigate for those unworthy and unable to counter the magic of three golden goddesses.
Of course, even deities had their moments of desperation as did magical weapons blessed by their hands. Long story short, anyone within the narrow radius of energy was effectively immunized of it for the moment, making the new "Lost Woods" just another walk in the forest. Well, aside from the energy. In any case, a ripple of golden light appeared at the center of the wave and faded into a longsword stuck within a triangle shaped pedestal.
The hilt was blue with gold decorations, and at a point a bit down from that was the shape of the sacred Triforce. The point faced down. The unnaturally white triangle stone had the blad thrust into the point. Each side of the stone had an etching that recreated the basic appearance of that sign left long ago by the protective deities of a deceased kingdom. It came up the blade of the sword about halfway. The excess energy filtered out of the area in soothing waves, each weaker than the last, before all was still...
The sword had not been the only new arrival heralded by the shift of energy. To the side of the pedestal there was a girl in her later teens. She wore a white shirt with a pink sailor coloar over the top, the two stripes made out of gold thread embrodiery. On her left chest was a pocket with a single gold embroidered line at the center. Both the white area at her chest past the collar and the pocket had a gold logo embroidered. It would bring up the vaguest memories of the royal crest of the long past Kingdom of Hyrule, but it was not close enough to be mistaken for it.
She had a pleated pink sailor skirt as well, the edge of which balanced upon the top of her one upright knee. Her other foot was extended forward. On either wrist were two gold bangles, and her shoes were fairly practicle with two gold colored straps on each ankle. They buckled in the back via two gold clasps. Her long yellow hair was in a bit of a disarray, the various strands just barely concealing her face. Her eyes were closed, and she seemed almost to be asleep...

The green-clad knight was walking through the forest. He'd wanted to get away for a moment alone, and the woods seemed a logical place. He carried his sword (since his lance was unwieldy for him to use on foot) in a scabbard at his side, and his hair was missing his classic headband (currently hanging at his side), causing his hair to fall down further on his head, longer than it appeared. That, and it had been a while since his last haircut.
Out of nowhere, he stutter-stepped, feeling a pulse wash over him. He barely detected it, but it still caused him to falter.
"Wh... what was that?" He asked. He looked around the forest casually. Nothing seemed to be out of place. Subconsciously, he turned in what he thought was a random direction, and began walking, drawn by an otherworldly force of power.
Soon, he came upon a clearing, covered in fog.

Zelda remained unconscious as Sain came into the clearing. The sword would be visible to him, but the girl could be missed depending on his angle in regards to the pedestal. There was no additional energy being put off by the area, even ones possessing of magic would feel simply the calm still of a forest. At best one would feel the sense that this was a hallowed place.
The silence broke only with a slight mumble. Zelda twitched in her "sleep", the fleeting traces of a vision tugging at her subconscious. While still not awake, it was likely Sain would hear her. It was a break in the soothing calm of the location, after all.

Sain noticed the sword. It was embedded in a pedestal of stone, that bore a strange crest on it. He observed the sword, noting that it was clearly no ordinary sword.
Then he heard the mumble of the girl. He walked closer to the Master Sword to see the source, and he looked down at Zelda, standing beside the sword.

She seemed asleep, really. Aside from the occasional twitch. On that note, it seemed rather possible she was suffering from a nightmare. What little mumbling she was doing wasn't comprehensible. Given the nature of the situation, it was rather probable she needed waking.

It occurred to him that the girl was clearly not in a natural sleep. He bent down and gently took hold of her. "Hey, miss... Miss!" He risked a gentle shake, hoping he wasn't hurting her. She needs to be woken up first and foremost... he thought.

Unfortunately for Sain, Zelda had developed a certain reaction to rude awakenings. It hadn't just been by direct training from that woman either. No, the one calling herself Impa had caused a rather indirect bit of training as well. In any case, the reaction was a suddenly lifted fist straight at Sain's gut.
If she'd been reacting on instinct and not truly awake before, she wasn't now. Her hand jerked back at the impact, a faint bruise on three of the knuckles. She looked up towards where she'd hit wearing a rather pissed glare. Her comment came regardless of Sain's reaction.
"Who are you!?"

Sain reacted with surprise. The hit to his gut hurt, just a little bit, and he jumped back a bit, though he managed to remain holding Zelda up.
"Ahh!" he exclaimed. "What?" he asked her, having not quite heard her question. I help her from a long nightmare and this is the thanks I get? Ahh, but women can be mysterious sometimes~

It hit Zelda at that moment that he had a hold of her. Her eyes widened and she brought up her left knee towards Sain's grown. She was pulling away as soon as the grip loosened, and managed to seperate herself from him. She managed to trip over a corner of the pedestal, however, and took a spectacular leap to the ground. If Sain wasn't on the ground or in some other form of pain, he'd get a rather nice pantyshot as her feet flew out from under her.
She wasn't concerned with that or even the fact that if she really thought she was in danger she needed to be running. No, her eyes looked like they were ready to bulge out of her school as she looked at the sword. Hell. No. Straight out of those goddess damned faerie tales, and giving evidence to that Impa woman to boot? Hell. No.

Fortunately, Sain's former army's attire made arrangements to protect such grave weak points on the male body (the kind of body militaries just so happened to use for knights). Thick padding, though somewhat uncomfortable while riding on a horse, was spectacular at protecting from the errant flailing of limbs, or, fortunately for Sain (now and in the past), a precision strike.
This did not block the pain entirely, however. Sain let go of Zelda and guarded his squires from further injury. "Agh!" he cried out. He maintained his eye contact on Zelda, his vigilance winning him a sneak peek at her panties. A hot flush came to his face. "Aaah, oh my." All thoughts of his pain washed away, from the restorative powers of the female form (which he considered a cure-all).
He then realized where her eyes were pointed. The strange sword.
"Oh, this?" he said. "I was actually going to ask you about this, I found you unconscious by it," Sain, er, explained. "Is this your sword? You don't look strong enough to use one effectively, no offense..."

"It has nothing to do with me!"Zelda's head turned towards Sain with a rather nasty glare.
Her hand went out to use the pedestal to push herself up, but it pulled back in recoiled disgust when she realized what she'd been about to do. The angle looked a bit awkward as she went out of her way to make sure her hands weren't touching it. Once both hands were on the ground, she was on her feet fairly quickly. Pretty agile, as well, so there was at least potential for some sort of fighting.
"And who the hell are you!?" Zelda paused for a moment, one could see things replaying through her head. Her eyes widened, "And what were you doing touching me!?"

"Nothing to do with you?" Sain asked. "Neither of you were here a few minutes ago, and now suddenly you're both in the same clearing in these woods! How could it not have something to do with you?" The need for answers was pressing for Sain.
He noticed her effort to avoid touching the pedestal.
"If you must know, I'm Sain, a knight of Caelin, and I was making sure you were okay, since you were, you know, passed out on the ground."

Zelda paused as Sain introduced himself. Knight...? She raised an eyebrow at his words. She'd never heard of Caelin, either, and she'd heard of a lot of mythical locations. She looked at the sword again and frowned. She bit her lip and glanced back at him. She didn't like where things were laying, but she wasn't stupid enough to deny what was in front of her face. She glanced towards the woods and spoke without returning her gaze to Sain.
"Is Caelin a kingdom, then?"
She didn't have the faintest idea what she was going to do if it was. That sword... it didn't belong anywhere. If it was what she thought it was and she couldn't see how it could be anything but, it didn't belong anywhere but in a fairy tale book. A kingdom called Hyrule. Caelin? No matter how much she thought about it, the name wasn't familiar.
(OOC: Feel free to have Roy show up any time you see an opening for him. XD)

Sain looked the girl over again. Her clothing seemed like nothing he had ever seen. The style seemed, if anything, to suggest she was a dancer, an entertainer. But her attitude sure seemed to refute that assumption. Entertainers were supposed to be nice to their audience. "Caelin is a small territory, ruled by a marquess, within the country Lycia, on the continent of Elibe." Sain took out a small coin, bearing the Caelin emblem. "See? I think I have a small map of the Lycian League..." He reached into his pocket, drawing out a weathered piece of paper, and held it so Zelda could see it. ( images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091201212335/fireemblem/images/9/9a/Lycia.png here, insert Caelin between Tuscana and Kathelet about halfway) He pointed out Caelin's location. (And Roy will show up, shortly, I promise.)

Zelda looked a combination of confused and annoyed as Sain tried to explain Caelin. Her eyes followed the movement as he pulled out each of the items. A gold coin and a map. She took a small step forward to get a better look at the map and frowned at it. Didn't look like any place she'd ever seen, and she made decent grades. She stepped back and crossed her arms. Not any version of Hyrule she knew nor that Termina place that popped up in one of those stories.
Which made her options pretty limited. She didn't like her caretaker, but there was some justification in her words. Telling this man where she was from didn't seem the world's greatest idea, so she couldn't ask for directions to her city. She glanced at the sword yet again. She didn't like any of the options as to what had happened.
"You said I was passed out? You wouldn't know anything even marginally more useful, would you?" she questioned, her voice bitter with traces of sarcasm.
