Ed was very much enjoying the ride, his tongue flying in the wind. "YIP, YIP, KYOOOO!!!!!" Chompy just kept lungeing forward, not giving an inch. At one point he took a massive leap and plopped right back on the sand, still trudgeing forward.

After a massive leap forward, Shade lied down on her seat, finally having something comfortable to sleep on that wasn't benches for once since her last sleep before the event that lead her here.
It wasn't long before the girl dooze off in a slumberland, with a light smile on her face.

(Sorry it took so long to answer... i guess we're not done yet.)
Ed kept Staring off into the distance, laughing at each little buck in Chompy's movements. it was only about ten minutes, but a faint shadow of a city finally made it's way into visible eyes.
Ed grinned, his eyes sparkling. "Hey Shade! Wake up, we're almost there!"
