Izanami didn't say anything else at Souji's apology. She jerked a bit more than he did and looked down as he pulled the phone out of his pocket. She frowned and pulled back standing up and brushing off the front of her hakama pants. Her knees still throbbed a bit, but the scrapes would be gone in a minute or two. She looked up as he apologized and gave a smile and nod as he stated he'd be back soon.

"Go and return safely," Izanami said, giving a bow. She straightened up, "...Souji-san."

Souji gave a nod to Izanami before heading back toward the stairs. Perhaps this had all just made things more complicated, but it gave him a sense of closure in more ways than one.

"So, what was so important you had to run off somewhere without even telling Teddie? You know he freaks out whenever you go somewhere without telling him."

"Ah... It's a long story. On the bright side, we don't have to worry about Izanagi anymore!" Souji said. Not the entire truth. But he could get to that later. "On the downside, I can't summon a Persona anymore."
