There was nothing unusual in the main part of the ITS. People walked here and there, the occasional portal opened both in and out of the world, vendors sold various items. All very normal. At least in the main part of the ITS. Tucked into areas of shadow, areas rarely walked due to lack of lighting, a figure stood. The figure's decision had not been a result of the previous night's unexpected development, but it related to it. After all, that Pharaoh had no idea how accurate Ra had been. He had no idea that a certain demon wasn't putting all his eggs in one basket.
Nyarlathotep was aware of Enjin's actions in regards to that woman's reincarnation. While even the form of her Ka obtained with the power of that Priest's reincarnation wasn't enough to match his power at full strength, it was a nuisance. And from what Nyarlathotep had observed of Enjin, he would be rather interested in knowing the source of it. So Nyarlathotep waited until he caught sight of the wolf-eared body Enjin was using, and then he spoke.
"It's pathetic when one can't even subdue a little girl, Hiizumi Enjin."
Nyarlathotep remained in the shadows, but his direction would be clear to Enjin. Just to be sure, Nyarlathotep flared his aura.

The ITS had proven to be one of the best places for Enjin to linger for a few reasons. One was that there were plenty of people whose hands he could hold. This would seem odd, but it was hard for him to get back in tune again after several tunings due to the fact that he was a human born in the Afterworld using a demon's body. If that wasn't enough to screw with one's natural frequency, Enjin didn't know what else was. Not only that, but there were demons here, demons whose energy he could absorb in order to preserve Gin's own demonic energy.
He had just gotten done absorbing the power of one young succubus (and what a stupid foolish girl she'd been) when he heard someone in the shadows nearby speak to him. He would have been hard pressed to miss that aura flare, as well. He scowled.
"Who are you, and how do you know my name?" Enjin growled. He wasn't in the mood to deal with someone taunting him over that recent failure. He wasn't even sure how this person, whoever he was, knew about that.

Nyarlathotep smirked.
"You're not shy about sharing it, now are you? As for my name... well, it hurts none to share that much. You may call me Zorc," Nyarlathotep stated. He flew further back down a side path, keeping his aura up so Enjin could keep track, "If you aren't interested in knowing just what occured with that little girl, I am quite content in leaving you. I just thought you'd like to know her connection to that artifact..."

Enjin frowned. Zorc was hardly a normal name, but Enjin had learned not to expect normalness in anything, really. He was a fair bit wary about following this Zorc person into a dark alley. Within a moment, he had his "preparations" set up. It was very possible this person was trying to kill him.
Enjin followed Zorc further down the side path. "Keep talking."

Nyarlathotep had to prevent a chuckle at the obvious (and wise) lack of distrust Enjin was showing in him. He didn't have any intentions of attacking the man, but it was likely he would have done the same if the situation was reversed... even with that knowledge. Nyarlathotep kept himself to the shadows, not showing himself to the man. If he tried to use that little set up to sneak up on him, he'd simply leave... or at least step through the darkness to another location to continue speaking.
"Let's begin with the reason I called you here then, shall we?" Nyarlathotep stated, "It would seem you were blocked off by that girl's... spirit. It is not impossible to force you way past it if you weren't so easily frightened. Or is it a power level issue? I admit I didn't see you as quite that weak..."

Enjin's scowl remained as the demon continued to speak. Enjin had not seen nor sensed this demon when he'd gone after Akina and Kisa that day, and yet this demon knew all about that experience, including how whatever was in Kisa's spirit managed to block his attempt to take over her body.
"If you're trying to taunt me into telling you sensitive details about myself, you're not doing a very good job," Enjin retorted. "The girl was stronger than I expected, that was all."

"Really?" One could all but hear the raised eyebrow due to the incredulity in Nyarlathotep's voice, "Well then, you must accept my most humble apologies. I was quite convinced you were frightened. If it was simply a matter of surprise, I would have thought you'd have gone after her again. After all, I'm sure you're aware of the mess she's worked herself into over fear of when you return."
Nyarlathotep chuckled, "After all, she's terrified of losing everyone close to her. Not just her parents, but fear over that Seto fellow as well. What with how he's moved to that mansion* in the business district... he never told her about that, after all."
(OOC: *mansion apartment. I think penthouse apartment is the English equivalent, but I'm not sure. Its a Japanese term used for a very large and generally expensive apartment. In case you didn't know. XD)

Enjin only gave a "hmph" in response. Yes, he was quite aware of that. The only reason he hadn't gone after her again was because he wasn't quite sure how to handle things with her. He couldn't quite threaten to take her body anymore, though. Whatever that great power she had in her was, it kept him from being able to take her by force. However, controlling her via threatening her loved ones... now that was looking like a viable option.
"She summoned a dragon before. How much do you know about that?" Enjin asked.

"Blue Eyes, White Dragon. A being whose power is said to exceed the gods," Nyarlathotep said. He then shrugged, and Enjin would catch a trace of movement in the shadows. It was enough to reveal Nyarlathotep was humanoid, "Well, I suppose that is just what I've heard. If she figures out how to control it, you might have a problem on your hands."
Nyarlathotep still hadn't gone onto detail about the artifact he claimed had a connection to the girl. Enjin likely already suspected that. After all, she'd reacted rather poorly to the Ring. And the spirit in it had claimed she looked like a "witch" he knew.

A being whose power was said to exceed the gods. Well, that would certainly explain why he hadn't been able to tune her before. As far as that artifact Zorc had brought up, that was likely the Ring. The spirit in the Ring had reacted negatively to her, and she'd reacted rather poorly to it.
"What's her connection to the Millennium Ring?"

"Memories."
It was one word. Simple, short, and far more amused than it should be. Enjin would hear some slight chuckling from the darkness that Nyarlathotep was hiding in. If he was keeping his eye on the area, he'd catch the edge of a wing. Whether he knew that was what ti was or not was entirely up in the air. In any case, it did seem Nyarlathotep wasn't focusing as much as he could on staying hidden.
"Memories she barely knows she has. It bears the same reason for her obsession with Seto, actually."

Enjin smirked. So it had to do with memories of some sort. Somehow Enjin doubted it was simple amnesia. Now he was curious. He was still keeping an eye on Zorc. For some reason the demon didn't seem very inclined to hide itself right now. Enjin could tell it was winged and humanoid. It likely had several means to kill him, too.
"Well, now that's interesting," Enjin said. "Care to share more details?"

"Not in the slightest. You didn't expect me to tell you everything, now did you? Tut tut," Nyarlathotep answered with an amused chuckle. He paused for a moment, "Perhaps you should try Seto instead? He reacts rather... amusingly to his child brother being used as bait."

Enjin smirked. He remembered meeting Kaiba's little brother. While Enjin didn't particularly care for all of the sneaking around he was having to do to get his information, it wasn't like he had much of another choice. He didn't exactly have an information broker or someone like that to ask.
"I'll consider that. Since you seem unwilling to give me any other information, I think I'll bid you adieu, 'Zorc'," Enjin said. And then he quite simply disappeared from in front of Nyarlathotep. The demon would likely sense his presence on a nearby roof before Enjin continued walking across the roof and away from him.

Nyarlathotep turned his head towards where Enjin was was actually at as the presence in front of him vanished. There was no surprise over it. This Enjin wasn't very fun to play with, but at least it seemed he'd do what he wanted him to. Putting Seto in a bind would effect Kisa, which would as a result keep her less likely to get involved with the Pharaoh's side of things. Nyarlathotep stepped back and vanished into the shadows.
