HAIII! I'm writing this message on my new PSP! I don't have a memory stick yet because I'm an idiot and "typing" is a major pain but I felt like bragging! The new(er) PSPs are really lightweight compared to the originals and the screens are WAY better. Anyhow, PSP YAAAAAY!!!

Who said anything about breaking? You mean because it's more lightweight? That's not impossible, I suppose, but I didn't like carrying around something that weighed more than the Game Gear (Sega, heavier than the FIRST Game Boy, although it did have a full color display.) This isn't a PSP Travel, never heard of that (do you mean the Go?), the box just said PSP. The model series is 300, if that helps.
I bought my first one when they were still - hmm, seems I'm limited on text input space... Sorry! - Anyhow, on my PC now to finish this. Yeah, the first one I bought was back when they were still pretty new. I'm pretty sure it was before the original Nintendo DSes were released. The thing was clunky, the backlight was way to weak, and there were just a whole laundry list of problems. I don't think they were all that functional for Wi-Fi use yet, either, but that could have been because I didn't know what the hell Wi-Fi was.
The new ones are, as I said, lightweight. I mean, I can still feel them (mostly cause of the battery, I'll admit) but its at most around the same weight of the Nintendo DS Lites. The back screen is very bright, I'm loving that. I think my original one (I had to replace it because I LOST my old one, btw. Been over a year since I saw it last) was one of the original 100 series ones.
So while its still the same system, technically, its a lot better. Also, there seem to be some functions that allow it to communicate with the PS3, which is ~2 years old at the most. I think it was Christmas '08 that people were getting shot over the PS3 (and XBox 360... Nintendo fans are saner than to shoot over the newest gen console. XD) so its new(er), like I said.
Honestly, the Go looks heavier than the PSP, althoug that might not be the case cause its about half as wide.
I luffle it, I just wish I'd had the brains to pick up a memory stick. Its SONY, after all. Sony and their stupid "you have to buy seperate accessories if you want it to work right!" ways of releasing systems.
I plan on getting the updated rerelease port of Persona for it. And when Persona 3 Portable (aka P3P) comes out in America (the plans to localize have been officially announced) you can bet I'll be getting that. FF says she will too. Darn girl got me into a fandom. XD I'll (and she'll) have a squeefit if the two Persona 2 games get an updated rerelease. America only got one of them due to the DIRECTLY CONNECTED OTHER ONE having resurrected!Hitler as a baddie. This was before the era of M games in America, and apparently Hitler as a baddie = no localization for you.
So yeah.

(Sorry if typing is bad, my keyboard is REALLY stupid)
Didn't really catch the hitler thing wth localization, but I heard some things that the Newer PSPs that has the slidy functions are easily broken, and when you shake it lightly you can hear things shaking. Personally, I don't really care on what console I have as long as it has a good usage and it's durable (Thus, my Original PSP and DS)

........
Moving on from THAT.... Gantz, it depends on what genres you like. XD I've only played Persona and some of the earlier games like Darkstalkers Chronicles (not a fan of fighting games, but I've always loved the character designs there) and Tokobots. The Ape Escape games are kind of a waste of money imo.
FF - Yeah, and I may end up spending $64 on a Tale of the Abyss doujinshi. THANKS FOR THE FANDOMS. D: (For those of you going "hmmm?" its not a hentai doujin nor is it even a shippy one. XD)
