No one would notice anything suspicious about the blue-haired teenager who had been wandering around the plaza for a while, because there was absolutely nothing about him that suggested he wasn't human. There were no horns protruding from his temples, no slitted eyes, and no markings covering his whole body. The only thing off about his appearance was that he lacked the rather distinctive headphones he usually wore. Only other demons would be able to sense the demonic aura he was giving off.
It was this Abel was depending on. He was searching for Lucifer, and had been since the previous day. By now, most of his anger had abated, but it didn't change the fact that one of Lucifer's servants had killed two of his Court, and led Seth to kill a third. With Atsuro's desertion, only Abel and Seth remained as members of the "Court" of Bel, and Cain would not return for a few years. It would be hard to get the other demons to take him seriously while he was still a child, as well.
He clenched his hand tightly around the COMP in his pocket at the thought of Atsuro. He didn't even know why he'd chosen to bring it with him. The fact he was carrying around a memento of Atsuro (because that was what it was, Atsuro was dead to him and that was what he was telling himself) meant it would only give Lucifer more reason to taunt him.
He narrowed his eyes and flared up his energy a bit. With it came a call to Lucifer. I wish for an audience with you, Lucifer.

(OOC: Slliight bit of godmoding, FF. Tell me if I need to make it go away. XD)
The fallen angel and great king of demons Lucifer hadn't really been keeping tabs on Abel. At all. He'd stopped bothering after his General had decided to visit the Island and make his points for him. His presence in the fight the King of Bel had been involved in had been as much a result of observing the Fiend he'd created as anything else. Abel had just been an added bonus as far as that went.
What it came down to was that the only reason Lucifer was aware of Abel's presence in the plaza was the Bel King's power level. It had spiked during that little duel with Hitoshura, and while the fallen angel wasn't keeping a direct eye on it, it had come under the things he chose to not ignore. So when Abel flared it and sent his telepathic suggestion (it was more that then an address), Lucifer was aware of and receiving.
Abel would be aware of his arrival. The only mute Lucifer was bothering with was the natural result of his current favored human form. It wasn't a mute he had to deal with, he just wasn't bothering going past it. At Abel's power level, he'd be more than aware of it. Lucius was dressed a bit less... arrogant than usual. His black hooded sweater didn't have a design on it, although the collar and sleeves had a thick orange stripe on them. His pants were loose jeans, but they didn't hang. He also wore black shoes with high ankles, tied with laces. His hair was pulled back with a single black holder. He walked towards where Abel was standing, looking around as if he was trying to find something. His face lit up with what seemed to be happiness when he saw Abel.
"Yo, Abel-kun! Over here!" Lucius waved his left arm in an unneccesary gesture to grab Abel's attention. When Abel looked at him, Lucius ran up to him regardless of the Bel King's expression, "You said you wanted to talk to me about something?"

Abel allowed himself a smirk as he felt Lucifer's presence arrive. That hadn't taken long at all... though with how long it had taken him to find Lucifer before, he had to wonder if the only reason Lucifer was showing up now was because he'd sent that telepathic summons.
He hadn't expecting to hear his name yelled the way it had been, though, especially with the out of place honorific Lucifer had stuck on it. His expression was a fair bit annoyed as he turned around and looked toward Lucius. His expression softened a bit as Lucius ran toward him, though.
"Ah, yeah," Abel said. "I was beginning to think I couldn't find you." He absentmindedly looked around at the crowded plaza. "Geez, this place is crazy... Come on, let's find somewhere more private to talk. I don't think I'll even be able to hear myself think at this rate."

"Can't concentrate, eh?" Lucius said with a smirk. To anyone unaware of the two's real relationship, it would seem like he was just poking fun at a friend. Abel would clearly understand it was a taunt, "That place we talked before should work, right? It's not like anyone would care to hang around there after last time."
Lucius pointed towards one of the side alleys. In truth, they weren't that far from the place that the previous night's battle had occurred. Lucius was smiling like the teenager he claimed to be, but Abel would see the real intentions in his eyes, even if he hadn't gleaned it from his words. As for Lucius' stated "reason", they had left the alley in complete disarray. No one had been there in this short time, and everything would be as it had been left, blood and all.

Abel groaned at the taunt. It didn't bother him much, it wasn't much worse than any of the taunts Naoya used to give him. He nodded at Lucius' suggestion. He was well aware of the real reason Lucius wanted them to head that way. "Yeah, that'll work."
He turned and started weaving through the crowd, heading toward that one alley everyone seemed to be avoiding (though most people if they had survival instincts avoided the alleys if they could). The alley was in the exact same state they'd left it the previous night. There was a large area of nearly-dried, slushy blood next to a rather burned area of ground. Some off the blood was a nearly black color. Abel ignored it before turning back toward Lucifer.
"You're a bitch to track down," Abel said. "I've been trying to find you since yesterday."

Lucius gave a smile that might have been downright congenial at it reached his eyes at Abel's comment. He gave a shrug as his actual response before leaning against the wall and examining the nails of his left hand. He picked the nonexistent dirt out from under them with his thumb nail.
"You should be honored I'm granting an audience at all. I only answered your call because you stood your own against my General," Lucius looked up from his hand, "You should consider my presence your reward for entertaining me. What did you want to discuss?"

Abel gave a glare at Lucius' words. He frowned and looked toward Lucius.
"It is by the hand of your servant that Kaido and Cain are dead. Not only that, but Seth has been cursed as a result of the proceedings in that battle," Abel growled. "What I have to wonder about is why you even sent Hitoshura to fight me. Was it just so I'd stop running away from you?"

"Casualties of war. A single human life is nothing in the battle against YHVH, I would think you'd understand that. Whole worlds have crumbled as a result of that fight, your useless sentimentality will get you no where. As for my General..." Lucius smirked, "I didn't send him to do anything. I merely kept him informed. It was his choice to fight you, and the methods were all his. Come now, King of Bel, you know as well as I that everything that's happened is a result of your choices."
"You're free to do what you want, but this war has no room for cowards. The law of the demon world is survival of the fittest. If you can't hold your own, you're dead."

Abel's glare deepened at Lucius' words. He might have stayed glaring if Lucius hadn't reminded him that everything that had happened was a result of his own choices.
I chose this fate of my own free will, Abel thought to himself. "Fine. So be it."
Abel wasn't fond of Lucifer. He rather disliked the fallen angel for several reasons, not limited to the previous night's events. However, Abel was not blind to the fact that Lucifer would be a powerful ally. The fact that Abel's Court was now down to two meant Abel was without allies in this world. But he would not ask Lucifer to ally with him so long as Nyarlathotep allied with him.
"And what about Nyarlathotep? I don't tolerate deserters, and his actions in the past indicate he still works for you. I don't intend on leaving this world without having killed him first."

"He isn't working for me, nor did he ever. At most he aligned himself with me for a time, if you could even call it that. It's not in my nature to hinder the actions of those that haven't earned my interest or ire. He could be anywhere, if he even remains in this world," Lucifer seemed amused. He looked towards the sky, "That demon seemed to have several agendas all his own. He seemed as interested in the corruptibility of Man as some of my former brethren remain."

Abel sighed. Another dead end, then. That demon was even harder to track down than Lucifer had been. He clenched his hand around the COMP in his pocket and looked back toward Lucifer.
"I see," Abel said. "You know, our agendas aren't all that different. I wouldn't mind allying myself with you for a time."
Actually, he did. But desperate times called for desperate measures.

Lucifer let out a laugh at that. It was quite condascending in tone. After a few seconds of it he looked towards Abel. The expression on his face looked like he thought Abel a fool.
"We may be on the same side of the field, but don't go overestimating your power, King of Bel," he said. His voice was less human than before, "How long do you think you could last against me? I have standards over who I lend my power to. I have no intentions of standing in your way, but do try to keep your ego in check."

Abel's glare deepened further at that. He knew Lucifer was baiting him, but that didn't stop him from running up and grabbing the demon by the collar.
"I suppose you feel like testing that, then?!" Abel snarled. "I've been wanting to get my hands on you for a very long time, Lucifer."
At that moment, he got a sudden feeling, one he recognized from whenever a COMP connected to Babel. Seth's COMP hadn't been destroyed during the previous night's battle, so that only meant...
Dammit, Atsuro, what are you doing!?

Lucifer had let Abel lift him into the air, a smirk on his face. He'd had full intentions of answering when Abel hesitated. The fallen angel took the opening and Abel would find a hand over his face. A burst of Almighty energy in the form of a Megidola was likely to hit Abel. Given the way his speed had increased with his power level, it was possible he could dodge, but not likely.
Either way, Lucifer would be down. If he got hit by the attack, the force would tear the fallen angel's shirt, leaving Abel with a clump of fabric. If Abel somehow managed to dodge, Lucifer would be free from his grasp that way. He wouldn't be caught again so easily...

The momentary hesitation Abel had over Atsuro meant that he hadn't seen Lucifer move near soon enough. He was blown away by the force of the attack, and took a large piece of Lucifer's shirt with him. Abel winced from the burns on his face from the explosion. Shit, that hurt.
And whoever had hacked into Babel
(Dammit Atsuro)
was still screwing around. He couldn't focus on both Babel and Lucifer right now.
