Lucifer landed and looked at the front of his shirt. It was still in one piece, but the part Abel had ripped meant only about an inch remained on the lower front. He frowned and looked up towards Abel. The young King of Bel still seemed distracted by something.
"I appreciate your enthusiasm, but if you're going to try to make a point, put your attention on the fight. If you pull that again I won't hold back," Lucifer's eyes slitted, "You should know that was the equivalent of a tap from me."

Abel winced. He was going to have to ignore Babel, even though their linked senses meant he couldn't exactly do that easily. He pushed himself to his feet and glared at Lucifer.
"So you're stronger than me. Big whoop," Abel stated. He rolled out his shoulders and rushed at Lucifer again, his own eyes slitted. There was a large amount of Almighty energy swirling around Abel's hand as he moved to punch the other demon.

Lucifer felt the energy Abel built up for his attack more than he saw it, and he was staring straight at the blue haired teenager. The teenager who hadn't even bothered dropping his human form. Lucifer waited until Abel was halfway there before he went to dodge. Human observers would get the impression he dodged half a second after Abel began to move, making the reaction time normal from an observant battler rather than the true speed. Lucifer blurred as he side stepped the attack, his eyes actually returning to normal as he did so.
"Faster too, it seems," Lucifer chuckled.
The only indication Lucifer was attacking was the sudden spike of Almighty energy that shot out from him, blowing his clothes around from the energy. For a split second a dome of invisible energy would appear over Abel before shattering inward in what looked like a burst of electricity, the Megidolaon hitting Abel.

Abel gave a growl as Lucifer taunted him again. His eyes widened as he felt the surge of Almighty energy, but he wasn't able to move fast enough to dodge the implosion of Almighty energy from the Megidolaon.
He managed to stay standing, and glared at Lucifer. There was a bright flash of light as he dropped his human form. The highly stylized Hebrew markings appeared across his body and the horns protruding from his skull appeared again.
Several bright lights of Almighty energy appeared around Abel's wrist before forming into what looked like several small blades. He threw his hand out, and the Holy Dance flew out at Lucifer, intending to home in on him and still hit if he tried to dodge.

Lucifer sensed the way Abel was directing his energy. Either the young king hadn't learned how to mask the energies on how he was too distracted to bother. Either way the fallen angel realized how he planned on attacking. He didn't move from the spot as the blades raced towards him. It was only when they were inches from him his aura flared up with enough force to all but blind those that could sense it.
Seconds later a sixed wing angel with rather long white horns was shooting into the sky. Four cuts healed up during the ascent, proving the Holy Dance had hit. The golden feathers faded to a pristine white and seemed to be for show rather than actual flight assistance. It wasn't a full expression of his angelic form by any means. His was still wearing his jeans and shoes, although the shirt had given out. While his hair had come undone, it was still the shade Lucius had. And the eyes still looked human. Lucifer.
"Your distraction means this fight is beginning to bore me," Lucifer stated. It was a new variation on his voice. It still sounded human, but it had less emotion than a robot. He was out of the range of any attack that couldn't hit an entire battle field.
There was a sudden spike in Almighty energy around Lucifer, enough that it actually distorted the natural energies held in all places and unsensible by most. Abel would be aware of how very off the air felt around Lucifer from the influx. He held out his hands forward and slightly down and the fluttering his feathers had been doing in the wind stopped. Both hands shot into the air and the energy shot up in what seemed to be shards of electric energy. They shot out and spread every which way, the edges of them extending into the various alternate pathways.
"Megidoladyne!"
The energy crashed down on the field, ripping through the already shattered ground. Anyone in the buildings whose sides made up this section of the alley would swear a significant earthquake had passed through. One could see the buildings shake and a few bricks fell out here and there. It was an attack that hit the entire field, it would be no underestimation to call it some kind of miracle if Abel dodged.

Abel's eyes had widened as Lucifer shot into the sky. The fear he had managed to force back before had returned at full force. He was having to fight back a flight response as he stared up at Lucifer. He'd said he wasn't going to run anymore, dammit! He couldn't run from this!
His face blanched as Lucifer spoke. He couldn't help if he was having to deal with Babel right now! But that didn't mean Lucifer had to get bored with him! He stood there frozen as he felt the large spike in Almighty energy, and didn't even move until the energy shot up and spread around the area.
It was at that moment Abel let out a scream and ran. He didn't make it far before the entire force of the attack came down on him. Had he been human, it likely would have been more than enough to kill him. The fact that he wasn't human meant his bones were fractured extremely badly, and he couldn't quite get to his feet. There was a large crack in Abel's left horn. His clothes were quite the wreck too, and the fact that they hadn't been torn to pieces was nothing short of a miracle. He was bordering unconsciousness from that attack.
"Damn... it..." Abel groaned. Why did he always have the worst luck...?

Abel had managed to turn a corner in his flight, leaving the line of Lucifer's mundane sight. He let out a bored sigh and came to a landing, his wings vanishing as his feet hit the ground. His horns remained. Before that moment of distraction, he'd been ready for a fight. Abel had understood his implications, whether he realized it or not.
He took several confident steps over the upheaved bround and came to where Abel lay collapsed and struggling on the ground. By the time he was crouching down to Abel's eye level (made possible by the condition of the ground), he looked human again. Shirtless with his hair in total disarray, but human.
"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you," Lucifer said. There was no sign that he was anything but serious.

Abel winced again as Lucifer crouched down beside him. Why shouldn't Lucifer kill him? He couldn't think of any reasons why Lucifer shouldn't that would even matter to the demon king. Hell, he was a coward, and once he'd finally gotten things together, the first thing he'd done was try to kill Lucifer.
He took a deep breath. He only had a slim chance with this. Threats didn't work well against demon kings, after all.
"Because... I'm not the only Abel out there," Abel said. "Didn't you do your research...? There isn't one Abel anymore... Just because I'm him now doesn't mean I'm the only Abel... kill me, and I'll split up like the original Bel and turn into a bunch of other Bel demons... and I bet you whatever poor sucker becomes Abel next is gonna be working for YHVH... and he's gonna know what the hell he's doing."

Lucifer's expression didn't change as Abel began his answer. He wasn't unaware of that, of course. That had easily been the most potentially entertaining part of pushing the War of Bel to its final stages with the power granted to Belberith and the way he'd sent Belzaboul to that demon's side. As Abel finished up, the corner of his mouth turned up in a smirk. So Bel was informing him that if it fell again, it would turn its hatred from YHVH and towards him?
The fallen angel put his hands on his knees and pushed himself to his feet. He looked down towards the collapsed King of Bel. He still had a slight smirk, but it wasn't arrogant. In fact, it seemed rather amused. He hadn't expected Abel to come up with an argument. He turned towards the exit of the alley.
"If you want to borrow my power, you have to earn it," Lucifer stated, his voice lacking emotion and only carrying the fleeting illusion of humanity. He looked towards Abel again. It was his mundane aura that betrayed a lack of humanity more than his appearance, "Take care of whatever has you distracted before you challenge me again."

Abel's expression didn't change the whole time Lucifer spoke to him. He understood what Lucifer was saying. He needed to earn Lucifer's help, huh... That meant he'd have to take care of any loose ends. He couldn't have anything cause him to hesitate like it had during that fight just now.
Which meant... he might have to kill Atsuro. He didn't know why Atsuro had hacked into Babel. He didn't even know how; Atsuro had left his COMP when he'd left the court.
He straightened up a bit, ignoring the shooting pain from his fractured bones. They were healing back together anyways; he'd be fine in an hour or so. Even his broken horn would be fine after about an hour.
He took a deep breath. Atsuro's hacking had set off a failsafe inside Babel. Right now Babel was in the process of shutting down all but the most basic of functions in order to force out the intruder. He closed his eyes. He hadn't had to do this too much. All he had to do was block Atsuro from the system... or at least the COMP Atsuro was using. Abel heard a noise akin to a click in his mind as that block was put in place. Almost immediately the collection of demonic energy they called a server began to calm down.
