Atsuro had known quite a bit about the murders from stuff he'd read online, which included the bits about the murderer skinning off people's backs. Still, it had been more than a bit surprising to him when he had run into Malik that day... the guy still didn't deserve what Abel had done to him.
He frowned as Atem got to Asim's arrival. So that had been when the guy had first shown up? He turned toward Yuugi as he walked in again.
"Ah, yeah," Atsuro said. He scratched his head. "So the guy doesn't know Japanese? That's got to be a pain... Kinda sucks this place doesn't have some kind of magical translation field or something so we could understand what Asim was saying without Atem translating for us."

Atem nodded at Yuugi, "We're explaining to Atsuro everything that's happened lately. We just got to when Asim defended me from Malik's evil personality."
"You don't need to give him a full rundown, Atem," Yuugi said, "Atsuro, it's basically come down to running into the avatars of two of the god cards. Haytham, that is Ra, told us that the Items couldn't be kept together because they can call Zorc back. That's why we had to leave two with K1-kun."
"Yeah, after Kaiba went and said he wanted Zorc to come back," Jounouchi grumbled.

"Oh yeah, you told me about that last part," Atsuro remembered. He sighed. "I can't believe Kaiba would be so stupidly prideful to do something like that..."
He frowned. "Which reminds me... You wanted me to look into how to destroy the Items, right? I don't think I'll be able to do much research without an active internet connection. You wouldn't happen to know where any wi-fi hotspots would be, would you? Like a cafe or something?"

"Oh, the place we work at has one. You know that coffee shop near here, right?" The next part was rather forced English, "Chill Out Coffee?"
Of course, and Atsuro was probably aware of this, he was unlikely to have much luck with that. The Island seemed to have some sort of failsafe. Any universe that had an inhabitant on the Island seemed to be blocked, and it wasn't something any hacker could work past. Given the Island, this cut out a rather huge portion of the existing internet.

"Awesome," Atsuro said with a grin. "That really helps me out, you have no idea."
He was pretty well aware about the Island's odd block; he'd already tried hacking through it a couple times himself. However, it was a starting point. Most mythological information didn't seem to be blocked, thankfully enough. His other options were research at Void City's library (which he'd rather like to avoid) and using the info on demons stored in the COMP. He doubted he'd be able to use the COMP much anyways. Abel had likely figured out he'd hacked into Babel by now and disabled Yuugi's COMP again. Besides, the others would freak if he went that option again.
