Full Name: Clockwork Keykeeper Doll #02
Nicknames: Yui
Age: Several centuries old
Height: 4' 2"
Weight: 134 lbs
Gender: Genderless, but appears and sounds male
Race: Clockwork Doll
Alliance: Good
Home: The Gold Temple, China
Franchise: N/A
Physical Description: Appears to be a boy made out of wood. Besides the head, which is a perfectly carved sphere, his whole body appears to be large blocks of wood that have been attached in different areas to create a doll. All of these blocks have been painted skin color to look even more like a boy. Where the joints on a normal human would be, there are dark unpainted blocks of wood. These hide the clockwork that makes up his real joints. The blocks on his elbows also have external silver gears. The hands and feet also have similar blocks of wood, however, the hands have opposable wood fingers, while the feet do not have any toes at all, just being blocks of wood. Like a clockwork toy, Yui has a gold wind-up key in his back that is constantly spinning and has to be rewound every century. The large clockwork head is the most complex part of his body. His artificial grey eyes, while they do not blink, can see, allowing Yui to see where he is going. His mouth also moves and can actually mouth words instead of just opening and closing. Of course, he has a voice box so he actually sounds like he's speaking. He has brown hair too, and it's all real human hair. On top of his wooden head is a large yellow rabbit hat with long ears that hang down. For clothing, he wears a sleeveless red vest with a ragged hole in the back where the wind-up key passes through. He also wears dark red shorts that go down to his knees (but no further).
Weapons: A large golden skeleton key that can manipulate fire.
Abilities/Powers: He can manipulate fire using his key, but only enough to make his attacks with the key fire-charged or shoot small, weak fireballs.
Skills: Can lift heavy objects, but too heavy objects will make his wood start to splinter. Also, he can speak both Chinese and English.
Personality: He's rather childish, but he's gained a sort of wisdom over the years. Basically, he likes to act like your average hyperactive kid brother.
History: Yui's one of three clockwork keykeepers who were made to protect the Emperor's Keys, three great artifacts that together unleashed a great power, though what it was (or is) is unknown. The keykeepers were then sealed in the innermost chambers of their temples, Kerro, the first made, sealed in the Silver Temple, Yui, the second made, sealed in the Gold Temple, and Eriol, the third made, sealed within the Bronze Temple. Despite his childlike appearance, thieves soon found that Yui's strength made him more than a threat.
Other: Since he's completely made out of wood (not counting the clockwork skeleton on the inside of his body), he's weak to fire, mould, and any other traditional weaknesses of wooden objects. To solve this problem, the creator of Yui made special clockwork cloth-dolls that activate whenever the keykeepers need repairs or need to be rewound. These dolls came to the Dimensional Island with the Keykeepers, and are virtually indestructible, self-repairing themselves when needed. (Yui's is a bunny doll named Usagi that has repaired itself so many times that its cloth covering is now covered in large patches in various shades of yellow and one of its ears is much longer than the other.
