Full Name: Clockwork Keykeeper Doll #1
Nicknames: Eriol
Age: Several centuries old
Height: 4’ 2”
Weight: 134 lbs
Gender: Genderless, but appears and sounds male.
Race: Clockwork Doll
Alliance: Neutral, leaning very strongly towards Evil
Home: China
Franchise: n/a
Physical Description: Appears to be a boy made out of wood. Besides the head, which is a perfectly carved sphere, his whole body appears to be large blocks of wood that have been attached in different areas to create a doll. All of these blocks have been painted skin color to look even more like a boy. The hands and feet are just large blocks of wood, however, the hands have opposable wood fingers, while the feet do not have any toes at all, just being blocks of wood. Like a clockwork toy, Eriol has a bronze wind-up key in his back that is constantly spinning and has to be rewound every century. The large clockwork head is the most complex part of his body. His artificial grey eyes, while they do not blink, can see, allowing Eriol to see where he is going. His mouth also moves and can actually mouth words instead of just opening and closing. Of course, he has a voice box so he actually sounds like he's speaking. He has shoulder length blond hair too, and it's all real human hair. Unlike the other keykeepers, who have rounded ears, he has pointed, triangle shaped ears. The paint has also worn away on the left side of his face. On top of his wooden head is a large yellow bird hat with little wings. For clothing, he wears traditional Chinese children’s clothes, like the other keykeepers.
Weapons: A large bronze skeleton key that can manipulate lightning. (It’s a lot larger than it looks in the picture, and is about as tall as Eriol is himself)
Abilities/Powers: He can manipulate electricity using his key, to the point that lightning itself is at his beck and call.
Skills: He’s a fairly capable mechanic. He can also speak both Chinese and English.
Personality: Eriol was kind, up until a certain point in his life, at which he became distrustful of everyone, preferring to kill first, ask questions later. He doesn’t obey anyone but himself too, and will not listen to any orders. He also loves to kill and slaughter and will often use his key for a sort of bloodless slaughter. That doesn’t mean that he’s all killing and that sort, and in fact, is willing to strike up deals and the such. That doesn’t mean that he’s going to trust his partner, just temporarily work with them. Still, he’s pretty much insane.
History: Eriol was the first of the Clockwork Dolls to be made, and as such was a prototype. He didn’t have a complete personality, his parts weren’t perfect, and he was liable to break. As time went on, the Creator used his body as a test body for parts he used in making his improved dolls, and Eriol began to feel like he wasn’t important. The creation of the “perfect doll”, the third one, Yui, did not help this at all. The Creator began doting over Yui, while Kerro, the second doll, became the Creator’s personal bodyguard. Eriol was just junk who stayed around the house and did housework. He did not like being junk. Eventually, Eriol went mad with jealousy, and massacred the entire town nearby, just so someone would pay attention to him. The Creator then realized how dangerous the keykeepers were, and forcibly unwound all three. After many years, though, Eriol was discovered, and rewound, and then his body structure was used as the base for the robots created in his universe. He was then held in a secret location so the government could study how his body worked. He waited for a very long time to get free, and once they finished and let him go, the first thing he did was return to China and destroy Kerro. Yui only escaped this because he had been awakened not very long before Eriol’s return to their original home. He’s still searching for the missing doll. Wanting revenge.
Other: Since he's completely made out of wood (not counting the clockwork skeleton on the inside of his body), he's weak to fire, mold, and any other traditional weaknesses of wooden objects. For this reason, he has to be repaired every so often. He can repair himself, but it takes time.
