Full Name: Keiichi Kimura
Nicknames: K1
Age: 17
Height: ?
Weight: ?
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: Neutral?
Home: Japan
Franchise: Devil Survivor
Physical Description: A boy with short, straight blue hair and eyes, who wears odd white headphones with what’s possibly the world’s longest MP3 player cord ever, a black sweater (never mind it being summer), and long red pants. He is also totally not Minato from Persona 3. Seriously. Any resemblances are just coincidental.
Weapons: Whatever he can find, typically a pipe or the sort. In certain situations, a devil’s fuge cell phone strap. No, seriously.
Abilities/Powers: Can cast some spells and heal (blame the COMP). He can also see a person’s “Death Clock”, which says how long someone has to live if they have less than 10 days left alive, though this clock can be changed. (Also blame the COMP.)
Skills: He’s a good cook (which is probably the only reason why Yuzu doesn’t complain about the food being dropped in the Yamanote Circle during the lockdown either; he can actually make it into something edible)
Personality: K1 doesn’t talk much, but from what he does say, one can tell he holds a lot of respect for his cousin, often saying things like, “If Naoya said so…” and the such. He also can’t stand people being jackasses and the such, but he doesn’t like killing people either, usually going a little less than all out against them so he doesn’t kill them.
History: (Warning: there’s a lot of stuff I just made up in here because DeSu doesn’t go too much into the MC’s story, and what it does is either pretty general and not really delved into, or REALLY FREAKING SPOILERY.)
K1 can’t remember a life without Naoya. When K1 was young, his older cousin Naoya was forced to move in with Keiichi’s family due to the deaths of his parents. The two of them became rather close over the years, to the point where Keiichi regarded Naoya as more of a parent than a cousin or brother. It was through Naoya that Keiichi met Atsuro, and it was Naoya that taught Keiichi most of the stuff he knows. So when Naoya left Keiichi’s home after turning 23, Keiichi was pretty much on his own for a while.
During one summer a year after Naoya left, though, K1 went and stayed with Naoya in Aoyama for a while, and eventually met back up with his friends, Atsuro and Yuzu, who had come across Naoya earlier that day. Naoya had given Yuzu specially modified COMPs (short for Communication Player) that could summon demons. After defeating the demons the COMPs initially summoned, K1 became the leader of their little group, shortly before Tokyo became locked down by the government, keeping anyone from coming into or leaving Tokyo. On the third day of the lockdown, after having escaped dying more than a few times, K1 ended up accidentally getting into the war between the “Bels” (demons whose names have the word “Bel” in it) because he defeated the demon Beldr. What happened after that isn’t very well known… (i.e: This game has multiple endings and I’m not choosing one for this history section.)
Other: Has a device called a COMP, which allows him to summon demons and all the fun stuff that comes with that. The COMP also has a program called the Harmonizer on it that makes it so that K1, a normal human, can actually fight against demons. It’s shaped like a DS, though it acts nothing like one, acting more like a cell phone and a portable eBay site.
