Physical Description: Mashtotzh, like most sumrans, has a long neck, a chamelleon-like head with four eyes and six nostrils. He has hair-like tendrills growing from his head and also from his face, giving him a kind of beard. He has two arms with 4-fingered hands and two legs with 4-zygodactylic (hand-like) feet. He has two pterodactyl like wings coming out of his back and a long iguana-like tail with spikes at the end. He wears a sweater which is mostly covered up by a short sleeved hood-shirt and baggy cargo pants.

Personality: Mashtotzh is somewhat dim-witted at times, but can be pretty smart. He is very shy and is mostly confused.
History: Mashtotzh was born on Sumra to a couple of peasant farmers: Khammur ul-Keetaabid (father) and Lelyayet sheel Khasodh (mother). He learned how to write at age 3 and how to play the Jamadh at age 5. Being clumsy, however, he was outcast by his more agile Sumran peers. Mashtotzh was also very accident-prone (and still is). This would finally end in terrible consequences in his manhood test at age 11 where he accidentaly injured 5 Sumran nobles when he let loose a herd of Rhalanjim, which pissed off his city state's Mulakh so much that he considered having Mashtotzh sacrificed to Iyla'ah, the chief god of the Sumran people, but the Vizier, however, was more sympathetic towards Mashtotzh. He suggested that Mashtotzh's parents take him to school on the planet Earth instead, as this would make him more understanding of life. Once on Earth, Mashtotzh was already 12 when he was enrolled in an alien-earthling beginner's school, but right from the start, he screwed things up and was suspended. Worried, Mashtotzh's father, Khammur, desperately searched for schools that were available. Finally, he found the perfect son for Mashtotzh to go to: Westley School for the Performing Arts. Since then, Mashtotzh has done moderately well, but occasionally causes trouble. Mashtotzh is dim-witted and incredibly clumsy. Mashtotzh is just a regular teen who loves ginger ale with a passion. Since Mashtotzh's parents are busy workers, he often stays (and sometimes lives) in Westley to keep him company. He gives Mr. Luna a very hard time by accidentally injuring him on most days. Mashtotzh might resist following any of the students' schemes, but ultimately he is included anyway and Mashtotzh somehow always ruins the gang's schemes. Supposedly, deep down inside, Mashtotzh is an ordinary teenager with his own ideas and plots. His father is an archaeologist and his mother is a marine biologist, and he scored a 98 on an intelligence test where 90 represented 'genius'; these raise the question of why Mashtotzh acts so unintelligently. Mashtotzh is an incredible painter; he also occasionally constructs long, hyper-intelligent sentences that confuse Sunny and the kids. When things don't go his way, Mashtotzh employs his catchphrase: "Aawwwwwwww, not again!!!" He also has somewhat of a crush on Kim Chin, and she likes him.
