Atsuro hadn't changed up his clothes any from the ones he had come to the apartment in, still wearing his partially zipped up blue jacket and pants, and his usual hat and shoes, but he had taken the chance to take a shower after everyone had finished eating, so he was now a bit cleaner looking than he had been previously.
"That's good, that means I can introduce myself to everyone at once," Atsuro said as he was placing his laptop in his shoulder bag. He pulled the bag on and grinned. "Alright, you guys should probably lead the way since I don't know where anyone really lives here."
Well, he could guess on Minato's apartment, but that was because he'd been there previously. Everyone else? No idea.

Minato and Ryoji were, in fact, not awake. Or to be more precise, were not out of bed. Minato sure looked asleep as far as Ryoji could tell. He'd woken up about five minutes prior and reached up for the blanket, only to find out it wasn't covering him. He'd leaned up and found that the reason his feet weren't freezing is that they were the only part of his body covered. His back was a fair bit warmer than his front, his sleep position having put Minato facing his back. Minato had most of the blanket wrapped around him.
The brown haired teenager had sighed and lain back down, this time facing Minato. The position had become comfortable in a few moments, and now he was just watching the blue haired teenager sleep. After the revelation (and near fight) with Souji, things had been rather calm on their end, with Teddie having returned to Souji's apartment. Ryoji smiled as the thought that it had been too calm came up. No need to curse things when they were going smoothly. He'd have to see if he could get Minato out again today. Fact was, he was going out of his mind in the apartments, and the fact that the only signals Minato seemed capable of catching were from girls just made things worse. -----
Teddie had been yammering all morning. There had been some things worth note in his yammers, but most of it had just been talking. For instance, he wasn't spending as much time as he wanted on the Other Side because it wasn't comfortable there with all the fog. This had lead to the mascot asking Souji to make Izanami tell him more about what was going on. That was really where the conversation had gotten itself to. Fact was, Souji had never gotten the chance to mention the whole Philemon conversation to the others. Mana had gotten shot before it could get very far, and that had pretty much distracted everyone from anything else that had been going on. -----
Yuugi gave a nod and a grin, "No problem!"
"Come to think of it, I don't think I know where those guys live either," Jounouchi noted.
Yuugi gave a kind of nervous grin to Jounouchi over that. Really, it had just been one thing after another lately. His smile was quick to return and he went to the front door and opened it up, standing to the side to let the others out. Anyone that looked at Atem would note a warm grin in regards to Yuugi. It was expressions like that which made it clear that his relationship with the shorter teenager was far more than that of friendship. He stood up and walked towards the door with the others.
(OOC: You get them to whatever door you want to. XD The closest is Souji's, and Yuugi'll be knocking so you can have the characters at whatever apartment they go to respond to that.)

Souji really hated getting up before noon. He really hated getting up before noon, and the fact that he was up before noon and he didn't even have to go to work meant that he'd finally lost his mind. Which meant the Teddie yammering at him right now was probably a hallucination. Or something.
Dammit, he needed coffee. Couldn't this coffee maker go any faster?
Souji put a hand on his head. "Teddie, I really don't know anything, and neither does Izanami. I asked her about it, and she doesn't know why it came back either."
He'd intended on telling Teddie about that before, actually. The problem was, Magatsu Izanagi had gotten back to the apartments while they had still been talking and things had just derailed and gotten more than a little bit crazy from there.
The light on the front of the coffee maker switched off, and Souji pulled the coffee pot out from the maker and poured himself a cup of coffee before drinking the whole thing down in two gulps, and subsequently burning the back of his throat. In retrospect, not his smartest move. "Ah! Hot! Very hot!"
At that moment, there were a couple knocks at the door to the apartment. Souji poured himself another cup and headed for the door. He pulled the door open, and frowned a bit as he saw who was outside. Jounouchi, Honda, Yuugi, Atem, and... Atsuro. Why was Atsuro here?
"Mornin'..." Souji said a bit sleepily.

Yuugi blinked at Souji's expression. Or sort of lack there of, he looked half asleep and even the white coffee cup in his hand was angled oddly. Jounouchi was stretching back and Honda was just sort of standing there. Atem noted that Souji's lips seemed a bit red, had he burned himself? The cup tilted a bit further and Yuugi dashed forward rather than giving the silver haired teenager a response.
"Partner!" Atem said in surprise.
"Souji-kun, watch out!"
This ended with Yuugi attempting to right the cop, a bit of coffee splashing on it, a resulting reflex reaction causing the short teenager's hand to pop up, the cup to go up at an angle towards Souji, andhim dumping half the contents on his right chest. At some point in all of this Teddie had asked Souji who was at the door, the question ending about halfway through the cause and effect of errors. Odds were Souji now had a burnt right nipple given how the cup had popped up. It was also quite likely said cup was about to hit the floor.

Souji hadn't really noticed that the cup was tilting. He was too asleep to really notice the fact that it was about to spill all over the floor. Yuugi had, and that simple fact set off a chain of events that ended with Souji's chest covered in scalding hot coffee and one broken cup on the ground.
"OH GOD IT BURNS!"
Atsuro sweatdropped. "...is this a bad time?"
Souji didn't hear him, and instead ran back inside, slamming the door behind him. He was actually running to the bathroom to get some kind of burn cream or put a wet cloth on the burn or something to get it to stop burning oh god that hurt.

Atem had slipped through the small crowd of people their group formed right after shouting Yuugi's nickname. It was as Souji slammed the door, almost smacking it into Yuugi's hand, that Atem reached the shorter teenager's side. He grabbed Yuugi by the wrist of the burnt hand as he was trying to pull it close. Jounouchi and Honda both winced as Souji screamed, accompanied by a second one as the door slammed. Yuugi seemed surprised at the way Atem grabbed his his wrist, and a slight bit of pink hit his cheeks as he saw Atem's expression.
"Partner, are you okay?"
"W-we need to check on Souji-kun!" Yuugi said. He looked at Atsuro and shook his head, "It's my fault, I think he's just tired. I forgot he's not a morning person."
"Yo, Teddie! Open the door!" Jounouchi said. He looked towards Yuugi, grimacing a bit at his reactions but seeming to work past something in his head and stepping forward, putting Atem, Yuugi, and Jounouchi in the same general tight area, "Are you going to be okay?"
"It's just a minor burn, it's really not that bad!" Yuugi insisted. Now he just seemed embarrassed by the attention, the blush was now gone.
"We should get it under some cold water," Atem said. -----
"Sensei!!" Teddie had jumped up in surprise as Souji had let out the scream.
This was then followed by Souji practically dashing past him. Teddie was surprised he hadn't been knocked down by the speed. The door the the bathroom slammed seconds later and a worried Teddie walked up to it, standing right past it, "Sensei, are you okay...?" -----
Ryoji shot up in bed from the shouting. Shouting in this place was rarely good. To his experience, shouting meant something very bad was happening. Very bad sometimes meant someone was getting themselves killed. He looked towards Minato, and if the blue haired teenager wasn't awake he'd be shooken awake by Ryoji.
"Minato, I think something is going on in Souji's apartment!"

"Oh christ that hurts!"
Souji had slammed the door to the bathroom behind him and pulled off his shirt. He had a wet cloth on his chest on where the coffee had burned him, and he was wincing a bit with pain. He looked up as Teddie asked his question.
"I'm fine, sorry," Souji said. He looked down at his coffee stained shirt. That was going to be a bitch to get out. He sighed. Well, he was certainly awake now... "Could you get me another shirt? And let Yuugi-tachi in, since I slammed the door in their faces like an idiot?"
...well, he HAD called Izanagi the stupidest god he'd ever meant before. Considering what he was now...
-------------------
"...huh," was all Atsuro could say in response to Yuugi's comment about Souji not being a morning person. That much had been clear from Souji's expression.
Getting Yuugi's hand under some cold water would certainly be a good idea, yes. Well, hopefully Souji would get his crap together and let them in.
----------------
Minato groaned and pushed himself up at the yell. "Dammit, who's yelling this time...?"
He looked over toward Ryoji as he spoke, and gave another tired groan. "...of course there's something going on in Souji's apartment, there's always something going on in Souji's apartment..."
He shook his head, causing his still untidy blue hair to fall into place over his right eye. "If something's going on in Souji's apartment, then we should hurry."

Teddie winced as Souji shouted about the pain. His hand was hovering over the door, wondering if he should go in or not. He'd almost gotten a mitt on the door when Souji spoke, which was run over by Jounouchi's voice from outside the closed door. He considered asking Souji if he was really okay, but he turned around and waddled towards the door.
The door handle jiggled once, causing everyone to look up. Atem was still holding Yuugi's wrist, although by this time he'd shifted up the arm a bit to prevent accidentally hitting the hand. The door stopped jiggling, and Jounouchi opened his mouth to express confusion when the door opened inwards, revealing Teddie in human form.
"Sensei is in the bathroom. What happened!"
Yuugi gave an apologetic grin, "I accidentally caused him to knock his coffee on himself. He's okay, right?"
Teddie gave a bit of a pouting frown, "He says he's okay... He said to let you in."
"Come on, Partner," Atem said.
Yuugi looked up and gave an exasperated smile. He looked at the others, "I'm going to go take care of this in the kitchen."
Atem and Yuugi walked in first. Teddie had opened the door wider and stepped to the side to allow them past. Jounouchi and Honda would head in as soon as Atsuro got out of their way. Jounouchi flopped down on the couch inside the apartment without waiting for an invitation. -----
"Atem, you really don't have to worry that much..." Yuugi said.
He was well aware Atem wasn't really listening to him at this point. The Egyptian teenager had grabbed a washcloth off a counter and was wetting it with cold water. He rung it out before sticking it on Yuugi's hand. The shorter teenager winced as Atem put it on there.
"You might as well tell me to stop the Nile from flooding," Atem said, carefully wrapping the edges of the washcloth around Yuugi's hand. He put a few fingers on the palm of the hand and looked Yuugi in the eyes, "Is it okay like that?"
"I-It's fine..." -----
Ryoji was already out of bed and pulling his pants on. Enough time had passed that some laundry had actually gotten done, meaning Ryoji was wearing the outfit he was most known for. He'd throw the scarf around his neck and head out with Minato as soon as the blue haired teenager was ready.

Atsuro headed on into the apartment once Teddie let them in. He didn't sit down anywhere, but he did take a look around. It was almost frighteningly neat... almost, because there was a massive pile of mail on a table. That couldn't all be bills... so where did all of this mail come from?
"Teddie, could you get that shirt? It's freezing in here," Souji called from the bathroom.
Atsuro sighed. Well, that sudden splash of scalding hot coffee seemed to have certainly woken Souji up. There was less drowsiness in his tone, and the way he had run before was proof enough he wasn't as drowsy now.
----------------------
Like how Ryoji was wearing his winter outfit, Minato had chosen to throw on his typical winter wear, even taking the time to grab his MP3 player and headphones. He threw them on before running out the door. He didn't even bother closing it, knowing Ryoji would be fast behind him. He rather quickly moved down to Souji's apartment door and knocked on it a few times.
"Hey! What's going on?" Minato yelled. "I heard someone yell!"

Teddie looked startled as Souji asked for his shirt, "Right! Just a second, Sensei!"
The blond scrambled into the bedroom, coming out a moment later with a dark grey shirt. He walked to the door of the bedroom but paused when he saw Yuugi and Atem weren't in the room. He might have even asked about it if it had been anyone other than Souji. He opeend the door and peeked in, holding up the shirt.
"Here you go, Sensei! Sorry that-"
"Hey! What's going on?" Minato yelled. "I heard someone yell!"
Everyone looked up at Minato's shout. Honda and Jounouchi gave each other a puzzled expression. Jounouchi let out a sigh. In apartment buildings, you were supposed to just ignore shouting. Then again, given the rundown of events Yuugi and Atem had given him... he leaned forward.
"Door's open, Minato!" -----
"I can tie it if it would be easier to stay on that way," Atem said.
"No, really, it's fine!" Yuugi insisted. He pulled his hand away from Atem's, holding the rag on his hand himself. He did wince a bit as he put his hand down. He didn't think it was a bad burn, but it did hurt a lot. Souji's was probably worse, "Everyone's going to wonder where we are, we should go ou-"
Atem turned towards the kitchen door, "Was that Minato-kun?"
Yuugi's eyes widened, "Oh shoot! He and Ryoji-kun probably heard the yell!"

Souji blinked as he heard Minato's yell before taking the shirt from Teddie. He pulled it on and buttoned it up before walking out of the bathroom. He sighed. Well, he had screamed really loudly before.
Minato pulled the door open and looked around at the room. There didn't seem to be anything dangerous going on. Souji was walking out of the bathroom, and there didn't seem to be anything bad going on in the apartment. Had it been a false alarm?
"Sorry about that. Yuugi knocked a bunch of coffee all over me earlier," Souji explained. Minato sighed, and turned toward Atsuro, who he hadn't really noticed until now. He raised an eyebrow.
"...Aren't you Atsuro?" Minato asked. He hadn't really had a lot of interaction with Abel's court other than when they had first appeared on the Island again, so he hadn't run into Atsuro all that much. Still, it confused him Atsuro was here. Atsuro nodded. "What are you doing here?"
"It's a bit of a long story, but the gist is, I'm gonna be living here now," Atsuro stated.

Yuugi and Atem came out of the kitchen about the time Minato was asking if it was Atsuro. The short teenager gave a smile and nodded. He indicated Atsuro and gestured between Souji and Minato.
"I know you've all met, but Atsuro-kun wanted to make some formal introductions. Guys, this is Kihara Atsuro-kun. Atsuro-kun, that's Arisato Minato-kun, Mochizuki Ryoji-kun, and Seta Souji-kun."
"I'm sorry, I don't really... remember you," Ryoji looked a little depressed at that, and seemed to be trying to think of something. He shook his head, "I mean... its kind of like a dream, if you know what I mean."

Atsuro frowned. Kind of like a dream? Well, Ryoji hadn't been in the shape he was in now during the Fall, and it hadn't even seemed like Ryoji at all during what of the fight he remembered. Mind you, the memories were fuzzy to Atsuro, too. Abel could remember them clearly, and so had Cerberus, so maybe it had something to do with the fact that Atsuro couldn't normally be in the Dark Hour (which, as far as Atsuro knew, didn't exist anymore).
"It's fine," Atsuro said. "All that stuff you would have known about me before doesn't matter anymore, anyways. I left Abel's court yesterday."
Souji raised an eyebrow. "You deserted?"
Atsuro shrugged. "Something like that."
Souji didn't say anything else. He didn't care much for some of Abel's past actions, or his choices. Perhaps that had been what Abel needed to do, but that didn't mean he had to agree with it. If Atsuro was sincere, he'd somehow managed to get an out from the war Abel was in. If he wasn't... then Abel had sent him as a double agent for some reason.
"Anyways, I'm gonna be staying with Yuugi for a while until I can pick myself up again," Atsuro said. He grinned. "So I guess you'll have to get used to seeing me around, huh?"

Yuugi's expression was serious with traces of worry as Atsuro replied to Souji's question. It wasn't simply something like that and he didn't know if he liked the term deserted. If even half of what Atsuro said was true, Abel wouldn't have let him desert. Atem's expression was serious without the worry, because while he'd come on the same things Yuugi had, he'd also come on something else. With Atsuro's concerns, it wasn't impossible Abel was playing with him. If it turned out to be the case, Atem knew he'd lose what respect he held for Abel.
Ryoji gave a pained smile at Atsuro's insistence. Of course, it was possible that had been Atsuro's first Dark Hour. The memories were fuzzy, like he was grasping at clouds, but he remembered that much. People didn't tend to do well in their first Hour.
"Atsuro wanted to meet everyone for real," Honda said, "Said something about not having a formal introduction yet. I'm more interested in meeting this Naoto and Kanji everyone's been talking about. I don't recall having ever met them."
"Oh, you're right! It's been really chaotic, so this works really well! Souji-kun, do you think they'll be awake?"
"Sensei'll take good care of you, too!" Teddie said with a smile. He almost snirked too hard to even say the next line as he threw a hand forward in a rather western greeting, "Bear-y pleased to meet you, Atsuro-kun!"
The general response was winces and groans. Yuugi, however, gave a wide smile and almost seemed to laugh himself.

It was almost humorous how in sync the general response to Teddie's bear pun had been. Everyone except Yuugi had given a groan at that one. Atsuro had groaned as well, but he took Teddie's hand and shook it.
"Nice to meet you too," Atsuro said.
"I'm sure they're awake," Souji said. "At the very least, Naoto's awake."
"And probably not half asleep like you," Minato said.
"I'm not a morning person."
"I wonder if Anzu's there," Atsuro wondered out loud. "Though, if she's not, I guess that means she's at work..." He had a bit of an amused grin on his face at that. Angel Mort, geez. She must have been blind to not notice those uniforms beforehand.
