NaNoMangO!

November! For years there's been something called NaNoWriMo (or National Novel Writers Month) going on annually. Most people know about NaNoWriMo by now... but did you know there's something called NaNoMangO that's been going on for just as long?

NaNoMangO is the art alternative to WriMo. Instead of writing 50,000 words you are to draw 30 pages (one page a day, as WriMo encourages people to write for their novel at least once a day). There's also the alternative of 15 crisp inked pages or 10 'THE WORKS' pages (inked, colored, shaded, everything).

If you're not of the writing sort or you're in an arty mood lately then this might be the perfect alternative for you. Don't be fooled by the name... you don't HAVE to draw anime, any style is acceptable.

Hmm, semi-tempting... Although I was thinking about an unofficial WriMo run for fanfiction. XD I like how this one is less judgmental than WriMo, which seems to turn its nose up a bit at fanworks.

It's tempting, but there's no way I could draw a comic fast enough for this. XD Comics always take me far too long to do.

TSI, the "simple" (pfft, yeaaaah) solution to that is to take that into account and do a few days with two pages! XD

I may take that first chapter of Pocket Genki for this, although I'm not sure it'll get up to thirty pages. I suppose I could delve into the second chapter if it came to that.
