Rave at Club Him Part 1 (Me, NN1, FF, and Nutcase)

[This is it guys, part 1 (of 2) of the first Mr. Gun plot finale. A lot of planning has been put into this, and, though I won't be able to post up in here near as often until I'm officially ungrounded, I look forward to getting back to this whenever possibly feasible. Until then, I couldn't help but start it.]

No-one knew where it came from, in all honesty...

It had been a relatively normal day in the Plaza of Void City, everyone walking about, going about their business, all that fine random NPC stuff. As they did, few went in and came out of what appeared to be an old-fashioned looking roadside cafee, with outter walls that were decorated in a red and white striped. No-one really gave the place too much thought honestly; it was a simple eatery. Nothing more.

...................

Imagine everyone's surprise however when, as the night started to fall, on this specific night...

CRASH...

Suddenly the eatery was raised off of the ground... ...

In favor of what appeared to be a metal monolith of a building, decorated with gargoyles and torches lighting it's sides. The building easily reached up to 4 floors high, the door about one and a half stories tall itself. As if that wasn't weird enough, a sign appeared over the door a little after the building appeared.

It had this to say;

'Him's Chaos Theater'.

It was merely a few hours later that the seediest looking individuals started arriving, entering the building with what appeared to be envelopes in hand.

Before too long, the place was packed almost wall to wall...

With villains. Bad-guys of every imaginable shape and size.

Among this group was Kijin Kain, a huge, muscular lizardman whom was looking around the crowd with a snarling grimace. "Why have all of us been called to this menial gathering? I have far more important things to worry about then this..."

The reason he had said this was because he had tried to discard the letter when it... 'Found' itself on his person. However, no matter how hard he tried, it always found a way back into his pocket. When at last he gave up trying to get rid of the letter, he opened it to find an invitation to some kind of celebration... Though for what was beyond even him.

Among the crowd was others too; naming this authors villains, the likes of Specter, Marx, and Exdeath was among the sortie.

"Man oh man, what a turnout!" Marx giggled giddily, as he looked at his invitation with uncensored glee. "And to think I was invited to it!! Hahah!!! Looks like some people out there consider me a real villain after all! HAH!!! Choke on THAT Nightmare!!!!!"

As everyone else went about their business, some of them taking seats at tables that sat before a giant performing stage, a single figure watched from the balcony a floor above them...

Him grinned at the turnout...

And just wait until they found out what the reason for this was... Heheheh, boy would THEY be surprised!

[For now just introduce your choice of villains to either use or cameo for this thread, we'll see the heroes after a turn or two.]

The evil doctor could not have been more proud to have received an invitation to anything ever, not since the Deviant Expo. And that didn’t really go all that well; those other evil guys were total jerks.

But this gathering looked MUCH more promising! Evildoers from all walks of life and beyond were gathered here; he watched gladly as three more entered the building with much, much vigor. A manic monkey with a large head eased onto the tarp with his jetpack, a monstrous metal man with a great beard thundered in with heavy steps that rocked the house, and a cackle resounded after a huge digging machine plowed through the side of the building.

Cortex sighed in content. These were his people. He was home again.

As it was, a rather outstanding group of "villains", from the loosest to the darkest senses of the word had shown up. It seemed the owner of this "Chaos Theatre" (and Hammy was rather annoyed that the proprietor, who he already knew from the Gossip as being Him, was using that name) had invited every "villain" he could get his sharp little claws on. This included Hammy and Dolphi III, the only ones of their group to show up. Ford had torn the invitation in half, Flamel had burned it, and Taz had just laughed. Well, it wasn't like Taz considered himself evil, the damn nihilist. Actually, none of their group did. Dolphi had just been happy to be invited somewhere for once in his life.

Ms. Dopple flipped open her invitation and frowned at it. No one noticed the frown, because that was her normal expression. "This is a rather odd theatre. I'm honestly not too happy about coming here. I feel like Him's pawn."

"You're thinking too much, Sarah," School Nurse said. "Come on, let's have a drink!"

"I don't think you're thinking enough..." Ms. Dopple sighed.

Ingrid danced through the crowd, a wine glass in hand. "Oh man! This place is great! Booze, girls, money, moar booze...." She gave a "nya~" of pleasure and ran over to Marx, who ended up being the first person she noticed. "Heya, little boy! Come dance with me! It'll be fun..." She pressed herself up against him and gave a mischievous smile...

"Yoink!" Ingrid held her hand up, and suddenly, there was a wallet clasped in it. In fact, it was Marx's wallet. She bounced away laughing. "Nyahaaha! I'm here all week, guys~"

Marx actually seemed pleasantly surprised that some random cat-girl came from out of EFFING nowhere and invited him to dance with her. He really didn't find ANYTHING cute that often, but he had to say, this girl was something of an exeption...

Well... At least until she lifted her hand and revealed that he had stolen his wallet. THEN he was pissed.

"Wha- H-HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME BACK MY WALLET, YOU SLUTTY, FURRY THEIF!!!! IT HAS MY MONEYS IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That was the last thing said, before he gave chase to the woman, growling and snarling like an animal.

With Specter, he sat in his floating mechanical throne with a bored expression on his face, before he sat the throne down at a nearby table. "Gaaagh, this is a waste of time..." He lookd around, and happened to see Mojo-Jojo... His eye twitched greatly at the sight of the monkey. He certainly didn't look like one of his troops.

As for Exdeath, he did little other then walk through the crowd and sit down at a nearby table... One Kijin Kain happened to be sitting at to. For a while, neither said anything.

"Hello."

Kijin, equally flat, merely responded with, "Hi."

"This gathering is completely pointless. It doesn't matter how many gather, they will be sent to the void eventually." Exdeath, not really interested in small talk, just stopped there.

Good thing too, cause Kijin wasn't interested in small talk either; which was made apparent when he eyed Exdeath, as if wondering if it would be okay to eat him, before deciding against it, and minding his own business.

[This next line comes after whatever bits you guys want to do.]

[glow=red,2,300]"Welcome one and all!!"[/glow] Him's voice echoed evilly over the crowd, as he smirked down at them from the balcony, sunglasses apparent over his eyes. [glow=red,2,300]"I welcome you all to my little soiree, and may I just say I am simply elated you all could attend."[/glow]

His grin became rather flamboyant at that. [glow=red,2,300]"Now I'm sure all of you are curious as to what this little gathering is for, who wouldn't be? It isn't often your invited by a personification of the devil to a party."[/glow]

Kijin didn't like the small look he caught in Him's eye, for a very very brief second.

[glow=red,2,300]"Well I shall be perfectly honest... This celebration is for all of you! The villains, cut-throats, and all around bad-guys of Dimensional Island! That's right, this is celebration is in honor of all of you!"[/glow] He chuckled giddily upon saying that, [glow=red,2,300]"And just to show you how much your evil, and dastardly acts are appreciated on this MUCH too fair spit of rock in the middle of a void, I have a special... Surprise, awaiting you near the end of this shin-dig."[/glow]

He held up a claw as if motioning dismissively. [glow=red,2,300]"But until it is time, I say to all of you, enjoy yourselves! Enjoy the festivities, the food and drink and more! All cooked up by moi! And for those of you out there who are too suspicious, and too paranoid to do anything yourselves, do keep in mind, I run a perfectly normal dinner in my spare time, so you have no reason to fear poisons, parasites, or anything of the kind! As of this moment, I am your humble host, and you are my honored guests!"[/glow] He stands and takes a formal bow. [glow=red,2,300]"So sit back, relax, and we shall soon start a show for your entertainment pleasure."[/glow]

With that said, he sits back down in his fancy chair at his own VIP table, and continued to look down at the crowd.

Mojo locked eyes with Spector, and they exchanged heated glares, before the manic monkey from Townsville took his seat, grumbling. He was almost settled in and ready to relax, when a gloved hand wrapped over his shoulder, and he tensed up all over again.

"Isn't this great?" Cortex grinned, oblivious to Mojo's twitching upper lip. "All villains gathered together for a big party! I've been waiting EONS for a chance like this!"

"I bet you have."

"Trading evil-doing techniques..."

"Failed techniques?"

"Gloating together..."

"I wish to have no association, no trading, no gloating with the likes of one such as yourself."

Back in the lobby, Gruntilda shasheyed her way in, looking... relatively attractive, actually. Her beauty spell was activated; she was without powers right now, but that was an easy fix if she needed them. For now, she simply wanted to impress. So it came to a surprise to her when no one seemed to notice her! Lousy ingrates!

Grumbling, she plopped down at a random table, looking up to see whom she was sitting across from. He was staring at this food. "..what's yer problem?"

"I can't EAT this," Smithy growled.

Hammy gave an annoyed scoff as Him spoke. He had a wine glass grasped between two large fingers, but he wasn't drinking anything at the moment, mainly because he was focusing on Him's words.

"Y'know, some of us don't consider ourselves villains," Hammy growled under his breath. "Some of us are actually trying to help the greater good."

"Oh shut up and drink the wine, Hammy!" Dolphi III yelled. He already looked a bit tipsy. "Oh man, this is great wine. This is great wine. I'm like... woah."

Ingrid continued to laugh like a mad woman as she ran. She suddenly caught sight of Dolphi and ran over to him, pressing her face into her chest.

"Oh mister, please help me! This mean little boy keeps chasing me and I think he wants to do really bad things to me!" Ingrid cried. Marx would make it to her in time to hear her say this, and would find Dolphi III deathglaring at him. And then manifesting two glowing blue flames in his hands.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THIS FAIR MAIDEN, JESTER BOY!?"

Elsewhere, Dopple and Nurse were conversing.

"I don't like this. This seems too planned. Especially that entertainment at the end," Ms. Dopple said.

"Normally I don't agree with your paranoid delusions, but in this case, I must agree," School Nurse said. "I've spent a long time in the circles of hell, and if I've learned anything, it's that flamboyant types like him are always up to no good. I wonder what the entertainment is..."

"I've got an idea, but I don't want to say anything yet," Ms. Dopple said.

...That girl really has this planned out. Everything she said has gone just as she said. Just what is she...? Ms. Dopple took another sip of her own drink and looked back toward the stage. Just how long would they have to wait?

When Marx found himself staring down Dolphi, he put on the breaks, and threw up his arms in self-defense. "Hey! Don't look at me like that!! I didn't do a damn thing!" He pointed at Ingrid. "She's the one who stole my wallet!!!"

As this went on, Specter decided to shrug off Mojo, before picking up a nearby glass. He supposed he would have to wait for the waiters before he got anything to drink.

The sound of someone clearing his throat came after a few more minutes (Allowing everyone to finish up their little scenes.), catching everyone's attention to the stage. "Excuse me, everybody?"

Standing up on stage was what appeared to be a young man wearing a bowler hat, and a pair of sunglasses, with light green hair underneath the hat. He also wore what appeared to be an orange jacket with a pair of jeans, and hiking boots, hinting at a flamboyant personality...

For a moment, Kijin Kain looked at the man... Why did he look familiar? He tried to take a sniff of him, but found cologne meeting his nostrils, causing him to gag.

"If I may have everyone's attention." The man continued with a rather odd voice. "We shall now begin the festivities. However, to suit the tastes of all of those here today, I shall be taking requests for me and the band to pl-"

The man took notice of everyone turning back to their conversations, otherwise ignoring him. ........... After a second, a frown appeared on his face. "Wanna know why I was invited people? Because I invented FRECKING ELEVATOR MUSIC. So unless you want to listen to THAT kind of earsoddomy all night, I suggest you start making suggestions."

Oh yeah, THAT got a few hands up. "Well that's more like it."

Meanwhile somewhere in the backstage rooms of the club, one could find a demon standing guard amongst the many hallways...

Before a magic rope suddenly wrapped around the demon's face, and yanked him out of view. There was the brief sound of a struggle, before all went quiet. Slowly, a new face peeked from around the corner.

Gantz had to admit that the plan was working okay thus far. He was a bit confused about gaining the invite from Him to come to the party, but it more then gave him the thought process needed to allow him to come up with a plan. "Okay, the coast is clear."

The plan was a relatively simple one, Wally (Whom's convincing disguise was keeping the villains busy) would keep Him's attention off the rest of the club, while he and the others snuck in to find Rosaline. After all, everyone knew by this point that since Rosaline was still alive, and that Him wouldn't be afraid to use her as a bargaining chip.

Thus leading to the sneaking around.

Right behind Gantz, we find Otto, Misty, Tarosuke, Climber, and Metal right behind him, along with a few of the others. "So... What are we looking for?" Came Metal as he tried his best to keep his heavy metal steps quiet.

Gantz shrugged. "I'm not sure... I guess something that says 'Heavily guarded'. I'm sure Him would keep Rosaline under lock and key until he needed her."

"BOOOOO GET OFF THE STAGE," Smithy yelled out. Just for the sake of yelling, mind you. Which earned him a weird look from Grunty.

"Now come ON, men, give him a chance!" Cortex whined.

"If his idea of entertainment does not include the classics of the 1800s, I am not in the least bit interesting, therefore will NOT give him a chance," Mojo grumbled.

"But ANYTHING is better than elevator music, right?"

"...good point. Elevator music is TRUE evil."

Close behind, sticking close to Otto for familiarity's sake, Double D remained tense as, well, ever. He wished he could sought out her aura in this building and uncomplicate their search, but all the dark auras gathered inside would interfere, and who knew if one of them had the ability to detect his aura once he opened the inner door. He... REALLY had to work on masking it better.

Of course, he was too preoccupied to feel useless this time. Something else was nagging at his intuition; he had a very bad feeling about all of this. It seemed way too easy, too simple...

He blinked, then nodded at Gantz's instruction. "Do we want to split up and cover more ground quicker? Or are we past that at this point?"

Ingrid stuck her tongue out at Marx. "Sorry, Marxy! I already stole his heart! Ain't nothin' you can do to stop from being blown up now."

"DIE, JESTER BOY! TASTE THE FURY OF MY LOVE!"

Dolphi III then began running after Marx, throwing fireballs.

"Wow, I always had him pegged as gay," School Nurse commented.

"There's such thing as bisexuals, Try," Ms. Dopple said as she took a sip of her wine.

Ingrid turned toward the stage as the weird guy wearing a bowler hat came on stage and started ranting off. "Hey, we're bad guys! We like sodomy!" Ingrid yelled. After a moment, she added, "But we don't like that kind of sodomy, so let's not have the elevator music pleeez!"

Despite all of the preparations Tree had made, only a few of her group actually joined Gantz at the Chaos Theatre (horrible, horrible name, and she intended on giving Him a few extra smacks for using that name). Besides Tree herself, Ark, Beatrice, Taffy, and De'Marcus had all accompanied them there. Snowy had been left behind to watch Kyle, since it had been decided the green haired boy would be more of a hindrance in a fight than a help, what with his living shadow and all. Also accompanying them was their newish companion, Infi-FF, who still gave Tree the willies.

"No. Even if we'd cover more ground that way, I'm worried Him would just use this to target us easier," Infi-FF said. "There's strength in numbers, strength we'd lose if we split up here."

"Yeah, somethin' about this just seems too easy," Beatrice said. "I'm getting a bad feeling..."

"Same," De'Marcus said. "If it weren't for the giant crowd of bad guys in the other room, I'd say we just rush in and kick his ass. However, we've still got a big crowd of bad guys in the other room."

"Can we just shut up and find Sunglasses Dude's girlfriend already so we can bail?" Tree asked. "I'm agreeing with Sockhead. We should just split up so we can cover more ground and find her faster. Then we can just demolish this place and hope Him gets crushed under it."

Gantz considered what he heard from Double D and Tree... To be perfectly honest, now that the gang was back together, he really didn't want to seperate again. There was 'power in numbers' they always yelled at him to learn. He sighed a bit, "I really don't want us to split up if we can afford it..." He then looked thoughtful as he considered his options. "But maybe splitting up will work to our advantage... If we're all over the place, Him might have a tough time keeping track of us..."

"What do you mean?" Came Otto with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm just saying man. Him may not know we're here, he may know we're here... Who knows? At this point it would be safe to assume anything and everything for our own safety." With that bit of paranoia thrown out there, the young man nodded. "Anyways, I guess Double D and Tree has a point. We'll find Rosaline faster if we split up... But to be safe, we'll use a buddy system. Teams of two."

A nod of agreement was Metal's response. "Good idea. That way we can watch each others backs."

Back out in the theater of Him's Chaos Theater, the mysterious young man in the Bowler Hat grinned as he pulled out a guitar. "Anyways, ladies and gents, since suggestions are still coming in slow, me and the boys will start off today's show with a little number we've picked out just for allaya! So sit back relax, and enjoy the stylings of Modest Mouse!"

After another minute, a few more musicians walked on stage, a few of them carrying instruments, whilst another came in pushing in a drum set. Once everything was set up, the drummer pushed a button on a mix machine, starting up what sounded like a somewhat soft mixing beat, before starting to play some notes on the drums himself. A few seconds afterwards, the guitar and Bass players soon went on themselves, starting to play.

Smiling, the man with the Bowler hat started to sing. He was easily getting into the song, not half bad a singer, to be honest.

'I backed my car into a cop car, the other day.
Well he just drove off, sometimes life's ok.
I ran my mouth off a bit too much, oh what did I say.
Well you just laughed it off, it was all ok.

Cue a catchy little guitar riff as the song continued on.

'And we'll all float on, ok.
And we'll all float on, ok.
And we'll all float on, ok.
And we'll all float on any way, well.
'

From where he watched, Him looked entertained himself, lightly clapping along with the music. Even for a type of devil, Him was something of a music fan with various interests...

Double D nodded at Gantz's decision. "Very well." He looked breifly to Otto, hoping he was willing to pair up with him. They knew each other best... especially after the incident at Mt. Bonsai earlier...

"What?! Modest Mouse!?!" Mojo roared in rage as Gruntilda made a literally gagging face. "Oh, come ON! Who wants to listen to New Age garbage!?"

"NEW AGE BAD!! HEAVY METAL GOOD!!" Apparently as his voice volume raises, Smithy's intelligence levels drop. Who would've thought.

Unnoticed, probably to his advantage, Cortex swayed to the song, being one of the few actually enjoying it.

Dolphi III and Hammy really didn't care about the music, the former because he was still trying to kill Marx and the latter because he really didn't give a damn either way. Ms. Dopple and School Nurse didn't seem to care much either, and Ingrid was just having a good time anyways.

"New age, new age! Nyahaha!" Ingrid pounced on top of Mojo's head and clung there. "Hey monkey boy! Wanna bet I can steal Miss Greenie over here's beauty from her?" She pointed toward Gruntilda.

"Buddy system?" Beatrice quickly turned her head toward Taffy and back toward Gantz again. "Oh like hell I'm pairing up with Lover Boy." She grabbed Ark's arm. "Come on, you're comin' with me."

"Whaaa? Tree, heeelllpppp!"

Tree ignored Ark. She gave a nervous glance toward Infi-FF before looking toward Gantz. She frowned at him before getting a mischievous grin. "You know what, I don't trust you alone. You're liable to try some romantic hero nonsense, pull a smartass move, and get yourself killed. Besides, we all know Him wants you."

"I don't care who I'm partnered up with," Infi-FF said with a shrug. "Besides, there's an odd number of us. One of us will have to go alone. It'll be better if it's me."

"If you say so..." Taffy said.

De'Marcus looked toward Misty. "I'll go with you, if you don't mind. I don't trust any of these other guys." He gave a sideways glance toward Tree's group as he said that.

Gantz wanted so much to land a fist upside Tree's head, but, seeing as how he was basically on her good side, he decided to keep it that way. "Fine... Since your so adamant about it..."

Misty turned to De'Marcus, and rolled her eyes. "Fine by me, at least you're one of the sane ones around here." She looked to Tarosuke. "Look after yourself, and please try not to do anything stupid."

Growling, Tarosuke flipped the girl off. True enough Misty helped the boy work out, but hey, that didn't mean they hadn't grown to dislike each other a bit. "Same to you, alien freak."

Groaning at the two, Metal looked to Climber, “I’ll go with Climber in that case. At least he won’t drive me to the end of my sanity software.” Climber looked rather curious as to what Metal meant but nodded in agreement.

Otto had taken notice of Double D’s look, “I guess you want to go with me Double D?”

Back in the theater room, the young man in the Bowler hat ignored the multiple different responses he was getting and continued on with his song.

“A fake Jamaican took every last dime with a scam.
It was worth it just to learn some sleight-of-hand.
Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands.
Good news will work its way to all them plans.
We both got fired on exactly the same day.
Well we'll float on good news is on the way.

And we'll all float on, ok.

As this went on, Kijin Kain looked at the man critically… He just KNEW he had seen that face before… Still, he trusted his nose more then he trusted his eyes in some cases; and according to his nose, this man wasn’t someone he knew. With Specter, he sat back neither acknowledging nor caring about the music that was being played. At least he was being mature about it.

“GAAAGH!!!! AAAAGH!!!!” Marx meanwhile was still, well, running for his ever loving life.

And Exdeath? “Hmph… Mortals and their music…” Frankly? He didn’t see the appeal.

“Alright already we'll all float on.
Alright already we'll all float on.
Alright don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy.
We'll all float on...alright. Already we'll all float on.
Alright already we'll all float on, ok.
Don't worry we'll all float on.

And with that the song ended and, regardless of the responses, the band took a theatric bow. "Thank you thank you, you all are just too kind!" Went the man in the Bowler Hat.

At Ingrid's proposal, Grunty quickly stood to her feet, pounding a fist on her table for good measure. "You wanna try, kid!?"

"CAT FIGHT!!" Smithy bellowed.

Mojo blinked, thinking at first that it was he that Gruntilda was yelling at. But looking up at the demon girl on his head (slow reaction time, yes), he realized that he was stuck in the crossfire.

"...uhhhh....!"

Double D smiled sheepishly, nodding. "I... I would, Otto, yes." He turned to the others. "Shall we?"

[Firebreath Fishslap]

"Too late, I already did!" Ingrid held up a shining orb of something, and Gruntilda would quickly realize that the orb held a fraction of her power. "Lookit that, your beauty in a ball! And I bet if I took this for myself, you'd turn all wrinkly!"

She grinned at Gruntilda teasingly.

"Yeah, cat fight!" Dolphi III yelled.

"You sure got over her fast," Hammy noted.

"Yeah, funny thing. The moment she stole that magicky thing from Gruntilda, my love for her just kind of faded..."

"Woohoo!" Tree yelled. "Alright, start leadin' the way, Sunglasses. You know where you're going the best of all of us, after all."

If anyone looked around at this point, they would have noticed that Infi-FF had quite simply just disappeared.
