Weapons: The Shiribe Stick, an extending baton that can store and expel electricity. Spinning it can also make a shield to reflect projectiles.
Also notably used by her is Yatter-Pelican, a pelican shaped robot meant as an airborne mecha for the Yatterman duo. It was contructed by Gan, but is often used by Ai when he is not around. Yatter-Pelican is equiped with fire hoses and can create several miniature robots (usually shaped like birds) when fed a fish-shaped Mecha-Tonic power pack, carried by Ai.
Abilities/Powers: Like Gan, she is skilled at hand-to-hand combat. Otherwise, she has none, unless you count changing back and forth from her Yatterman persona as an ability.
Skills: She is a mechanical genius. A lot of her machine designs are inspired by weird anime.
Personality: Ai is a responsible and motivated person. She prefers to plan things out and accomplish things. She is also very brave and committed to helping people.
History: Ai Kaminari is the daughter of an electronics shop owner in Japan. She and her boyfriend Gan Takada normally hang out at the workshop in Gan’s house behind his father's toy store in Akasaka. When they first found the workshop, they found the Yatter-Wan, a prototype robot started by Gan’s father but never finished. Working together, Gan and Ai worked together to finish it.
When it was nearly complete, Ai took a walk through the city one day when she came across the hideout of the Dorombo Gang, a trio of con artists who were recently employed by a criminal mastermind named Dukurobei to obtain the wish-granting Dokuro rings. In a case of bad timing, while she was watching them, Ai’s cell phone went off and she was discovered and taken hostage. Gan, who was the one calling, went off to find her when he saw the Dorombo Gang taking off in a large robot, with Ai tied up in the back. Realizing he wouldn’t get there fast enough on foot, Gan finished fixing the Yatter-Wan and went after the Dorombo Gang.
He managed to save her, but the Dorombo Gang escaped with one of the rings. After rescuing Ai, she told him everything she heard about the three criminals and the two of them decide to go after them. It is at this point that Yatter-Wan gives the two of them their special costumes and equipment and the two teens take on alter-egos, Gan as Yatterman Number 1 and Ai as Yatterman Number 2. Together, the three of them defeated the Dorombo Gang, who later found out that the ring they stole was a fake and received, as Dokurobei put it “a punishment worse than your momma’s.”
Other: She is also accompanied by a flying robot named Omotchama, that is shaped like a large die.
