Physical Description
Quartz is a tall, slender angel. Her body is in good physical condition, having been a soldier in the defense of Heaven. Despite her considerable shape, her muscular build does not bulge or appear too toned to mar her smooth limbs, giving her more the appearance of a gymnast.
Her hair is a combination of colors, naturally red from the roots, about halfway down she keeps it dyed orange, with blonde yellow tips. In the front, her bangs come down above her eyes, and frame the sides of her face. The hair behind her head comes down to the middle of her back, and is kept fairly straight. Her eyes are a lighter shade of red than her hair, and her ears have a slight point to them.
Her garb consists of white robes, designed to be utilitarian. They're looser, to afford her cool air, and yet bunched up and tied such like a Greek toga, to keep them close to her skin and not liable to hinder her fighting. On the back, a symbol that looks like a flame marks her elemental affinity as a uniform. A smaller version of this symbol is on the front left shoulder of the robes. She wears soft, but toughened shoes over her feet that look like covered sandals. All her clothes are white except for the element symbol.
She has large wings that extend from her back. They used to be white, until she fell. Now, they are pitch black, with some red and orange mixed in.
Weapons
Quartz wields an angelic bow, named Indignation. It is golden yellow and has wing and flame designs on it. It is designed to fire holy light arrows, of which Quartz has an infinite supply. Her fallen status lets her still use them, but at a significantly reduced effect (instead of purging a demon from existence, it might hurt him a little bit).
She also carries a light sword on a leg sheath, in case she's forced to engage in close quarters combat.
Abilities/Powers
Quartz wielded light angelic magic, designed both to heal and to banish evil. With the loss of her holiness, she has been reduced to basic white magic. Healing moderate injuries and the like.
Skills
Quartz has exceptional aim, being a trained archer. Her arrows can curve to a path she determines during the flight.
Personality
Quartz is an exceedingly helpful woman. She will go out of her way to assist others, even giving of herself to do so. She is kind and loving to most that she meets. She is usually somewhat flirty. She does, however, have the capability to become determined and fight for what she feels is right.
History
Quartz grew up, training to be a defense soldier for Heaven, specializing with her bow. During her time, she met Conley, her future husband. They courted for a brief time, and eventually wed, having a son, Tytus.
When Tytus was 15, an accident befell him and he was sent to Earth. Worried, Quartz attempted to follow him, but a demon disguised as an angel stopped her and wouldn't let her pass, claiming to be assigning jobs on Earth to those who went down. He forced her to sign a contract stating that she would have to have sex with humans unconditionally in order for her to do down. Valuing her son's safety over her own sanctity, she agreed, signing the contract.
The contract's unbreakable oath forced her to follow her word, and she became a fallen angel, due to committing a sin. Lust, being one of the least heinous of the seven deadly sins (wrath being considered the most), did not reduce her much more than no longer being a holy angel. Her wings turned black, her bow lost its strength and she lost her magic, and she was released from the strict codes that govern holy angels.
Now, having found her son and ensured his safety, Quartz has chosen a nomadic life, helping those who need it from outside the bounds of angelic code.
