Full Name: Emeraldi Shadowheart
Nicknames: Emerald, Shadow
Age: 25
Height: 5'1
Weight: *will not comment*
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Good and Evil
Home: Stormwind
Franchise: World of Warcraft
Physical Description: Emeraldi's appearence as far as her hair goes has changed dramatically. She's gone from having dyed black hair to going back to her natural blonde color. She also keeps it in a short ponytail now, thus giving herself a more dignified appearence. She still has the same onyx eyes that show off her shadow nature and has pale skin that burns easily in the sun. She has more of a priestly visage now; white robes with a tabard that adorns the cross of the Silver Hand as well as a white cowl that covers her head. She wears priestly slippers and gloves as well. She's a follower of the Light, despite her shadowform.
Weapons: She abandoned the dagger she used to wield long ago and now wields a staff, more suiting someone in her occupation as the Archbishop of the Cathedral of Light had told her before giving it to her.
Abilities/Powers: A priestess such as Emeraldi has access to three kinds of powers. The first of her powers come are the healing powers that priests know to keep their allies alive in battle, referred to simply as their Holy powers. The second of her powers come from shielding spells and support "buffs" as they're known, referred to as powers of Discipline. The third power is a total 180 to the two powers listed before. Even though priests are support types that help other classes fight, they also have a dark magic that allows them to assault the mind and effectively defend themselves. These Shadow powers are what Emeraldi specialize in due to the shadow spirit that has invaded her. But thanks to the power of Duel Specialization, she has also gone on to excel in the magics of Holy, fighting more against her evil side as she takes on more powers from the Light then from the shadows.
Skills: With the Cataclysm in full force, Emeraldi forced herself to learn how to cook and now does it with fervor and much better then she used to, still ever the fisher and first aid worker as well. Like Myushelle, she has not taken up Archaeology yet. But she has switched her life trades around. She is now a Tailorer, able to make cloth armors she can wear as well as shirts for others, and an Enchanter, able to enchant those armors and the armors of others with enhancements that will help keep them alive.
Personality: Unlike Myushelle, Emeraldi has gotten stronger after the Cataclysm. Instead of shying away from socializing, she embraces it, speaking to anyone who talks to her and blessing those who come into the Cathedral of Light to pray. She fights against her Shadow side more when it tries to come out and has now even conquered it, able to use Shadow magic without a high chance of reverting unlike before. Ever the kind girl as always, she'll still help people because she feels she must. But her shadow form still exists, still cold, unrelenting, and as cliche evil as it can get. She is still a zoophile, so continue to mock her as you want if you feel you must.
History: Emeraldi has never truely been a liked individual. Considered a freak of nature in her home of Stormwind due to the way she was raised, her shadow side had come as a side of abuse she had suffered from her peers when they learned about how she was. As a child, she was raised in Darnassus by Night Elf druids who were so in tune with their Feral arts that they refused to leave animal form. If they were not cats, they would be bears, seals, or birds depending on the occassion. She had wanted to join her foster parents in Druidism, but because Humans could not learn the ways of Druidism back in those times, she ended up becoming a Priestess of the Moon up until Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind felt it would be more wise to send her back to her people.
However, due to the way she was raised in Darnassus, Emeraldi had feelings about things that not many of her fellow Humans in Stormwind felt the same way about. For starters, she was more in tune with the Night Elf goddess, Elune, then she was with the Light. Then there was the way she dressed. Before she became a true Priestess of the Light, she dressed more naturally, like a Priestess of the Moon. But the kicker that caused her to be scorned and discriminated against the most was when the people in Stormwind realized she was sexually attracted to animals when a feral druid visited her in the Cathedral of Light. In the time period she lived in, such a thing was not only frowned upon, but it would be calls for witchcraft in a more real world setting.
If they had burned Emeraldi at the stake, they would've avoided a terrible tragedy. Having been expelled from the Holy Order for her lustful, abominable thoughts, she was played into the hand of an evil shadow spirit that had taken residence inside her body when she trained on the path of Shadow magic. She murdered many people in the Cathedral of Light before dissapearing. Thankfully some of the more important members could be brought back to life, such as the Archbishop himself, but many were buried in the undercroft. When Emeraldi had returned, it was with the heads of a thousand Horde soldiers. The good king, Varien Wyrnn, overlooked her crimes due to this service and sent her into the fields to serve in Northrend.
It was there she became a hero. Many people forgave and forget when she helped in the raid against Arthas, the Lich King. She was reinstated into the Holy Order, despite her oddities, now being played off as a mental scarring left by the death of her parents and her childhood being raised in Darnassus. The blame was shifted away from her in order to help her come back despite her "lustful, abominable thoughts." But in the end, there was another purpose to bringing Emeraldi back. They wanted to help her conquer the evil spirit inside her. And fight against it she did, with their help, until she had gained greater control over it. Once she did, she was sent to investigate the Doomsday cult with her companions, Myushelle, Enil'ulah, and Lagunelle.
Unfortuately, however, they were unable to stop the coming of Deathwing. Enil'ulah and Lagunelle were killed in the Park when Deathwing had destroyed and Myushelle, now a broken woman from the eccentric, sadistic, tormentor Death Knight she used to be, pushed her away. The people of Stormwind began to loathe her against for different reasons, but the Archbishop, unlike last time, did not push her away. Rather he, like many of the other followers in the Cathedral of Light, saw it as the Light's will being done, for it was often done in mysterious ways after all. He bequeathed upon her a staff and a new set of garments for her to wear and allowed her to continue servivce. She works in the Cathedral of Light now, despite the hatred she suffers at the hands of the people of Stormwind.
