High above void city, directly over portal park to be precise, a single seed was dropped from a portal. Not anything special, of course. Any normal seed would just die on impact, be unable to sprout. as it tumbled downward at an increasing speed, anyone looking closely enough would probably notice it's red color and white spots-
Red color... White spots... Oh snap, that's a Piranha plant seed!
The very minute it fell into the ground, creating a small hole big enough for it to live in, it immediately took root. A rather... strange Piranha plant grew from the hole, being maroon rather than red, and it's spots didn't color whole areas. It also didn't stop at any particular point in growth; it kept getting bigger, with no signs of stopping. So big, in fact, it did what most large Piranha plants do; grow small headed, but long vined clones that looked about the same, just... smaller, obviously. The head... head didn't seem too curious of it's surroundings, but the smaller heads took a shine to the nearby portals.
Within minutes, many of the smaller vines had taken the portals as homes, stretching out and looking all around their new home. At last, the now fully grown "Portal" Piranha plant grinded his teeth together, and set out an ear piercing, blood curtling scream, to at least a fifty yard radius. Afterward, he looked around, drool escaping his white lips. "...I'm kINdA hunGrY..." he mumbled.
