"Go on. You have your orders, Philantus. The Plaza shall be the first to fall. It is the very heart of Void City, which has become the heart of Dimensional Island itself. Striking it now, while they are vulnerable, will make a devastating effect. Then, attacking the rest of the city while they are recovering from the crippling blow shall be far easier..." Cyclone explained as he shoo'd Philantus away with one of his mutated hands.
The chimera humanoid only risked hesitation for a moment longer before following his orders and stepping through the portal. When it had closed, and the Void Master found himself alone with Void again, he sighed. Sitting on his crazily decorated, elaborate throne, Cyclone rested his elbow on the arm of it and placed his head in his palm. He could feel the void shifting and churning, eager to be released from its compact prison and flow out among the Plaza's shops like a flood.
"Patience, old friend. Philantus should have no trouble with this first location. No one sees it coming... those foolish foreigners... So wrapped up in their greed that they'll die with it."

A female human with long blue hair, red eyes and blue, somewhat skimpy clothing stood at the edge of the island. She could have sworn she had heard a voice calling her here, to this edge. But why? Why this, leading into nothingness. She decided to test to see if the void was safe with her water magic. And with that, the white staff embedded with sapphires and covered in red markings normally held at her side was raised, summoning water down into the void.
Kalypso shuddered when she saw the water get sucked in, controlled by its magic. She lowered her staff slightly and gave a smirk. "Well, since you're playing hard to get, I guess I'll have to turn my game up a notch." And with that, she released more water into the void, hoping to get enough water in to start a miniature sea, for her Pokemon form to swim in and get to where the voice seemed to call her. "Water, create me a path." she thought, looking down into the void.

Everything was as peaceful as usual in the void... until Cyclone felt a water droplet smack into the top of his covered head. Blinking his yellow, slit-pupiled eyes in surprise at the rare occurrence, he looked up in time to see the small rush coming down at him. However, he didn't move an inch or make a sound, merely stayed seated in his throne. Just when it seemed Cyclone would get soaked, the water changed course and continued on down into forever nothingness just to the right of his throne. Humphing at the strange event, he was just settling back again when even more water came pouring in.
"Void! Is it raining again? Or was another river diverted? Show me the source, and I shall fix this problem immediately," he stated, raising a curled finger high into the air. Instantly, the water- which was flowing out in every which way at differing volumes- shimmered like a window, and in it appeared Kalypso and her staff. Cyclone's mood obviously darkened, though only his eyes could be seen. "So... another troublemaker, is it? Well, Void... if she wants to join us, then I say we should let her. Besides, anymore flooding and I'll never get my robes dry."
Instantly, rather than being sucked down into the void, the water began pooling up where Kalypso was shooting it.

Kalypso noted the sudden change in the flow of the water, and smirked. She dived into the water, shifting into her Gyarados form. The blue serpent swan through the current, letting it drag her. What seemed odd was that it seemed to be leading her somewhere.
"Is this a trap?" she wondered to herself, though to a normal person's ears, it would merely be a series of growls.

"So you're a shapeshifter, then? Interesting. Though, I really wish you wouldn't try flooding Void. He gets terribly agitated when wet... as do I." Cyclone stated as he seemed to melt out of the shadows, though in reality it was just a trick of the void. Reacting to his words and movements, the water stopped flowing and created a large bubble of sorts. Reaching out, he poked at the water, which instantly sent a massive shudder throughout his body.
"Erugh. Water... disgusting. Now then. Are you going to stay like that until the end of time, or go back to being a humanoid and tell me why you're bothering us like this?"

Kalypso shifted back into her human form, staff in her hands. She examined where she was now, clearly not on Dimensional Island anymore. She placed the Staff of Kyogre where the water was mainly, and began to drain the water into the staff. "So, this is where the voice was calling me... Who is that? Is it a rare subspecies of human?" she wondered aloud, looking at Cyclone.

"Good. Had you chose the other option, it would have been very boring," Cyclone stated, his cheer at her decision obvious in his tone. He watched with mild interest as she drained the water back into her staff, glad that she was getting rid of it. "If you heard a voice, then it must have been Void. He knows all, and must have sensed that you could help with the Rebirth," he explained matter-of-factly. "And I am Cyclone. I am all, and I am nothing. I am every race and species. What I am does not matter; what matters is what I do."

"So, this Void is what I heard calling me... Like the sea, it rises and falls, and now it is like a blocked river, demanding to be set free." responded Kalypso, now having recalled all the water back into her staff. She lowered the staff, and faced Cyclone.
"So, this 'Rebirth'... What is it that you plan?"

Cyclone nodded, surprised that someone else could understand the void so well. He already liked Kalypso very much; anyone who understood the void had his respect. "That is exactly right. The Rebirth is an ancient prophecy that shall soon be fulfilled. You see, Dimensional Island was once a peaceful, beautiful paradise. Only the island's natives lived here, in harmony with the island as well as the void. In fact, they understood the void's power, and worshipped Void as the god."
As he spoke, he sat in his throne, which had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "They would even throw wondrous gifts to him in reverence! But then the portals began opening, bringing creatures from other dimensions to the island. They soiled it, building that wretched city and only offering Void a glance when it got in their way. Now, they shall pay for their ignorance, their arrogace. Void will rise up, submerging the locations on the island one by one until nothing is left. Then, he shall return to his place as the neverending sea, and all shall be as it was ages ago. This is the Rebirth."

Kalypso nodded, liking what he had said. The water had recollected itself in her staff. Plus, what Cyclone had said reminded her of the seas. "I may have come from another dimension, but I respect the Void. The water of this island was once clean and pure, and full of life. But when people had started settling down, the seas grew tainted, and only the koi survived, and only in one river." She looked out into the Void, with a look of pity.
"If it means reforming the waters of this land, I shall give you all my power in this 'Rebirth'."

Cyclone didn't quite understand how her analogy related to the topic at hand, but he really didn't care to understand it, either. All he cared about was completing the Rebirth and cleansing Dimensional Island of all that had tainted it. As such, he wouldn't mind some help to keep things moving along, especially from someone who understood the void as well as he did. It was definitely Cyclone's lucky day.
"Excellent. Help is always welcome. I've already sent someone to the first location which is to be cleansed- the Plaza. The heart of Void City, which is the heart of all that is evil in this dimension. Go there and meet with him- he is a chimera humanoid, you are sure to spot him in a crowd- and he shall explain what it is you must do."

Kalypso nodded, ready to leave the Void. "Very well. I shall not disappoint." And with that, she walked towards the Void, ready to go to the Plaza. She the shuddered, sensing somebody from her past there.
"Rubis is at the Plaza. She's one of those invaders... And one of the three that thwarted my plans."

Cyclone nodded. "I see. Well, feel free to do as you wish to them. They will die in the end, either way. In fact, Philantus may already be doing just that if they had tried getting in his way."

"Rubis, this time, it is you that shall meet an end." and with that, Kalypso walked into the Void, preparing for her return to the surface.

A weak storm of water came through the Void, and from the mist came Kalypso, back in her humanoid form. She turned to face Cyclone, draining all the water from the Plaza to the Void back into her staff, along with any water that might have gotten into his lair. "The mission has been a success. The Plaza is now a part of Void... And if it may, may I ask a single question?"
